Thank you for the prayers. As for the comments I've made; I have only stated my opinion and defended myself against the insults that others have posted first. If people really want me to go a way they should just keep their comments to themselves as well. They/you made it personal. Wow. This is so wrong. The child in this video has a connection to my 9 year old. Diabetes. It makes her feel not so alone when she watches these and participates in the walks. That's all that matter to me - at any cost. It is beyond wrong to post comments like these where children may read them. I'd like nothing more than to quit shelling out thousands every year for diabetic supplies, laser treatments on my eyes, doctor appointments, etc. Is that being hypocritical? I don't think so. Now YOU are a bit kinky! I am T1 and if I were to decide to kill myself, I'd sit down with a couple vials of Novolog and pump it all in to my leg. If you've ever come out of Insulin shock you know that it's just like being asleep to the diabetic. There are worse ways to go just incase you want to kill yourself. You are correct, research has made my life better. I keep my sugars in check with a meter and I can use human DNA derived insulin to live longer so I can pump more money into the business of the diabetes. As for the beef/pork insulin; yes I did use that long enough to mess with my eyes. That's a little side effect they failed to mention except in medicle journals and white papers. Never had to sharpen my needles but lost a friend to diabetes who did. I'll be under that rock if you want me...

The JDRF has nothing to do with the videos, it's our love for our children and the hatred of this disease that makes these videos.

Watch a lot of these videos and you will realize that they all look the same and all give the same messages of false hope and donate. I think that the JDRF must be mass producing these vids to scare people into donating to JDRF funding. If only JDRF could mass produce a cure like they do their videos there would be no more diabetics. WAKE UP! There will never be a MASS MARKETED CURE FOR DIABETES!
