1. This was an actual performance, yes.

2. Our school tried to get as many ppl who wanted to do the show as possible in, talent provided. Still our school had a lot of talent, and a lot of theatre seniors that year, including me...

For a high school (I guessed higher educational drama/acting schools last year for the start!) its really really really good and I can imagine proffesioanall shows doing worser than this! Oki I see some flow and timing errors in the dance here and there but overall a very good job! I didnt count em all but it must have been a lot of cats on the stage! wow, this was very good for a highschool...im quite impressed...I would definitely have paid to see this. Too bad the music wasn't a bit more full and rich...I would've liked a little more "cool" to the last dance song in this vid what with the electric guitar wails and the awesome opportunity for the drummers lol. but wow, good job y'all.

ok.. my high school just did this show and i dont wanna be rude but there is alot wrong with this.. 1. the set design has a sight-line and you can see the pit director; 2. the stage is WAY crowded; 3. poorly choreographed; 4. no exits 5. the exiting isnt smooth; 6. the movement isnt cleanly set with the music; 7. the costumes are just bad overall; 8. movement isnt cat-like

HOWEVER,

1. very good vocalists; 2. and theres REALLY good energy with all of the performers.

on the contrary, their set is one of the best i've seen thus far, the cast size seems to fit the stage nicely,their dancing is fairly good, and i personally think the movement matches the music nicely. Their costumes are perfectly fine, in fact i like them. though i must agree, the movement is not always cat-like, some people do tend to fall out of character, but over all they did a great job.

It's amazing how your school does a great production of ALW's Cats. I'm curious as to why there were so few male members in the cast because I've noticed the voices of Asparagus and Mistofelees sound more feminine. Is it because there weren't enough male members in it?

No we had quite a few guys in this cast. Asparagus definitely was a guy, but our Mistoffolees was played by a girl because she had the dancing skills needed.

Very impressive. Where did you get the costumes from they look very professional, and the dancing is spot on. Perhaps the music could have be a little bit more powerful, others wise it's looked like a very good production!

Our Crew and costumers made the costumes by getting standard unitards and then painting them by hand.
