  • FOR REAL KUNGFU,1 STRIKE 1 SEC IS ENOUGH TO BEAT YOUR ENEMY.BEHIND 1 SEC,IS TENS OF YEARS HARD PRACTICING.

  • Granted this is not a "real fight"; its a martial sport that uses full contact. Engage, score points, break off, rinse and repeat.

I practice T'ai-Chi and the guy in the red appears to be using some T'ai-Chi techniques.

  • red 1 is taichi right? only using their chi(氣)

  • which one was tai chi?

  • lol, this isn't a real fight. it's an exhibition of techniques.

  • Indeed, Chinese Gong Fu, but not Taiji... :-(

  • This is what i call real tradisional Martial arts. Traditional Martial arts dont play in the ring, they kill as soon as posible

  • bull shit vaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh

  • which one was Tai chi?

  • @sugelanren Both...

  • @DrSpooglemon I doubt it. There's no way a taijiquan player would do a diving forward kick like the second guy's second attack. If he's Ta chi...he's retarded.

  • @sugelanren What style of Tai Chi do you practice?

  • @DrSpooglemon Yang style, through Yang Sau Chung. Which style do you know where a leaping forward kick was appropriate?

  • @sugelanren VLqU08hOpgY

  • @DrSpooglemon Ahh, so from a video about a front kick, you surmise that there is a leaping front kick in tai chi. What style do you do, and with what lineage?

  • they're still kind of fat

  • @analihilator So because someone is fat, means they can't do martial art? Or maybe do you mean something else?

  • @MhongLi i bet you're fat too

  • @analihilator Nah Bro.

  • @analihilator They are wearing armors. If you had read the description, you would've known that.

  • @Sweety3900 shut up fatty

  • @analihilator You don't need to call me names just you realized you were wrong. But I suppose you feel so bad about yourself, that you need to try and make others feel bad. It didn't work though. To your infomation, I'm really skinny - too skinny - and I NEED to put on some weight if I ever want to be a mom. Think before you speak (write). Calling someone with eating-disorder fat, isn't the smartest thig to do. Do you want me to die from malnutrition? Luckily, I'm stronger than that.

  • @Sweety3900 - fatty fatty mcfat fat, go eat another cheeseburger

  • @analihilator lol... I feel sorry for you. Did you know comments like that can make people starve themselves to death? You're acting like an really immature and ignorant person. Grow up, and respect other people! If you don't, no one will respect you. "Do to others what you want them to do to you." Would you like to be called fat? I'm not as immature as you, I'll never sink to your level. I would never call people I have never seen fat. Btw, I don't like cheeseburgers, they're disgusting

  • @analihilator

I think this wins most immature thing of the week, or loses. . .well whichever. If I ever got in an argument with you, I'd probably feel like Eisenstein in comparison. ^^

  • No one in China can defeat Wang zhanjun who in red on LeiTai competition nowadays. and the opponents always like a beginner before him. Go and challenge him if you think you have some fighting skills. You will be master at once as long as beating him. remember tape the fighting and sharing on youtube, that will be hot.

  • @joylaval .... but short

  • Check out Gary lam Taiji 4 clip. My master never let my feet stay on the ground at all.

  • Guy in black was only waving hello to guy in red, and guy in red kept knocking him down.

    "Hello, nice to see you."

"Fuck off, I will kick you to death."

  • they suck

  • Sorry but while I saw plenty of silly posing and a bunch of attempted techniques that utterly failed when tried against a resisting opponent, i didn't see much tai chi or much effective fighting.

I see the MMA fanboys and the traditionalists have been going at one another as usual about this but the traditionalists always forget that UFC is just one face of MMA - the sports side. There is more (Much more) if you go look at MMA systems like JKD.

  • scripted?

  • tons of awesome shuai techniques

  • BANSI wheres mr shake hand man? TIME STARTS NOW.

  • These fat asses suck at fighting. They suck really bad

  • buddha bhadra (Chinese: 跋陀; pinyin: Bátuó)***

  • All the taichi or shaolin principles based on yoga or Indian. India contributed to China many things such as Buddhism,Yoga and the name " China ( CINA). Budha dhara is the first abbot of Shaolin temple who is from India. However, this is a controversial one and it is hard to track back in to the past now.

  • Is that a real fight??

  • @DjEleMntt top 4 deadliest?.. why don't you look it up on this youtube for Chinese MMA.. and tell me if the Chinese people use TaiChi in the fight :)

  • taichi is kung fu noob

  • where can i see real kungfu competition like what i saw in the movies of Donnie Yen or Jet Li .. this stuff is crap

  • @tommyn79 Dude this is tai chi, not kung fu....they share similarities but are distinct styles. Also movie fight sequences are usually choreographed down to the last detail, while this was seemingly a live fight.

  • @Kitteninabag tai chi is a style of kung fu mate like yong chun. just to let you know.

  • @tommyn79 Pure luck. This video displays Tai Chi as a controlled sport; however, this video does not display different stance positions. This video is not a full contact fight. The only way to see the true power of Tai Chi and how swift, harmful and deadly it can be is to get lucky and see it used in a street fight when one doesn't hold back. That fight would probably end very fast and you would more than likely "not" see very many moves. One trained would probably still hold back in fight.

  • @Animikiiasin very good imaginary explanation .. just prove it in MMA, MMA is where you can prove what you say and to authenticate the mighty of a martial art :). Iisten .. I can make my own video with cool moves, and i can expain to you that my moves are deadly, then would you believe me? .. if you don't then.. why should i believe in Kungfu without seeing

the actual proof :) too bad i'm an atheist and it's very hard to convince me LOL

  • @tommyn imaginary huh? atheist huh? You're not an atheist or a skeptic. You just talk smack to get a rise out of people. I've seen this used in the streets under no control and the attackers were all taken down swift and fast; moreover, they were hurt and two were taken to the hospital with internal bleeding. Just because you haven't seen it's true power doesn't mean people who have are lying.

  • @Animikiiasin why not just go try it for yourself instead of trying to get everyone else to prove it? MMA is under very controlled situations, and while it proves strength of certain people's abilities, it doesn't prove anything about any arts. The style is only as good as the person, no different to MMA. And lots of people lose MMA as much as they win. So when an MMA person loses a bout to an MMA person, is MMA good or rubbish?

  • @notdrockok The greatest loss in MMA is getting brain damage from getting hit in the head, screwed up joints from the submission holds, messed up face and ears from from grappling practice on the mat. To be a martial artist and make it to the age of 50 without having all of these problems in my opinion is a win. When they are 50 years old and have the body of a 70 year old, MMA guys are going to wonder why they did MMA in the first place.

  • @Haseeb2 this is what saddens me about the state martial arts is in. MMA, Gracie Jiu Jitsu etc etc want to do nothing but "prove" themselves in simulated environments, a neanderthal-like psychological profile of submission and domination. Tai Chi and Pak Mei, for example, are not designed for submission, they are designed for life and death and cannot work in arranged bouts. If an art prolongs your life in any and all aspects, job done :)

  • @tommyn79 Let MMA rove it in Gong Fu- no chance- MMA does nto work thats why military do not use it- Gong FU 1000s of years of history. MMA pasing fad.

  • @tommyn79 I suggest you go to a near Chinatown and challenge someone doing Tai Chi or go to a school and challenge the instructor. In the old days when people were "curious" they would do this. Some would rather die then loose. Up to a 100 years ago a death waiver was signed. In Indonesia you would take care of the body and send it back to the family. Now days is bs you hurt someone even though they challenged you, you get sued. Take a letter sign it. Don't sued anyone if you get hurt. Is not MMA

  • hah amazing chinese video game ...RED PLAYER WINS!!

  • you guys just don't know the background.

the black is a strong fighter, but the red is a far more greater fighter in china, never defeated in last ten years, also a great tai chi master. search wang zhanjun, his name. he is the son of wang xi an.

this is a semi-fininal match of tai chi san shou. hitting head and balls are prohibited. at last this match stops in the middle coz their level differ too much. the black was beat again and again.

    check my channel for more.

  • These two fat asses can't fight. I would be humiliated if this is how I fought and NEVER put a video like this on Youtube. lol

  • i mean really you think tai chi doesn't have any kicks at all? they do have strikes apart from the slow swaying circlular movements in their forms.

  • type o, i meant that yang is internal

  • I can not see any internal kong Fu.

  • @bdzbk1 then your blind because tai chi's split into chen and yang style tai chi, chen style is the more phsical combat form while chen style is the internal manipulative control form of taichi, both can be used for combat, you saw the big red guy throwing the guy in black around like a rag doll, what part of that isn't suggesting he's using tai chi?

  • @bdzbk1 You cannot see what you dont know. Maybe it is your interpretation of internal.

  • Chinese Retards!

  • well thats shit, they strike way too randomly

  • the chinese one uses tai chi, am I right?

  • koolaid vs humpty dumpty

  • the stance seems too weak to be tai chi. did i just see some boxing steps.....

  • hadouken is japanese

  • Are these guys fighting for real? The replay of the low sweeping kick didn't look like it had any speed or force behind it, almost like the guy didn't even mean to throw it out.

  • Hi i am 14 yr old and i'm planning to take Tai Chi lessons for self defence and better health is that okay for my age?

  • @startup97 Just do it, but don't give up when things get a little boring.

  • @startup97 learn wing chun or krav maga.. not tai chi

  • @EBB47 nah..... tai chi is wayyyy better than wing chun ha ha, southern styles are super weak. Krav maga... maybe. but probably not

  • @MusicisMYlife210 I think you might find that not all Southern Styles are weak, and that it depends greatly on the person teaching it, and the student. Still, by all means. Wander around Southern China saying "Southern Styles are weak!" and see how long it takes for someone to show you differently.

  • @MusicisMYlife210 Styles are invincible. People are not.

  • @startup97 Great for your health but other martial arts might have more immediate results in the self defense department.

  • @startup97 not to hate on tai chi, but for self defense tai chi is one of the harder styles to learn. Usually takes many years. I would recommend muay thai and kyokushin karate for self defense. Krav maga is also good and jeet kune do. hope this helps.

  • Tai Chi evolves to Aikido. Eh, it's still Chinese Wrestling.

  • fake

  • this is FAKE! that two niggers know no kungfu !

  • Dang, that red guy was in control.

  • Come on. I'd like to see one of those guys doing that against a good kick boxer.

  • 什麼功夫打上來都不好看的啊==

    他們分明在演戲啦...

  • this is awesome. was this real?

  • 就俩字,牛逼!

  • vu shu

  • About as real and sportive as when The Rock fought Stone Cold.

  • To be honest, if you want deadly force, you use a gun. But that's not what kung fu is about.

  • Chinese equivalent of American boxing. :D

Mehh, I'm surprised that they'd just go fight like like on TV, most decent instructors teach their students to not go out looking for fights like this..

In my opinion, its a bit disgraceful to the art of Tai Chi, as well as whoever taught them.

    .-.

  • @GuruNightStalker the real equivalent has shifted to Sanda/Sanshou these days.

While it would be considered immodest/disgraceful for a master of 50+ yrs to go seeking fights, it is conversely part of the development process for a student to seek out challenges to test/prove his abilities. Sure you don't go flaunting your skills or abusing the weak with it, but without trials against an equal or better opponent there is no real world proof of how much you measure up.

  • @ApprenticeOfAnubis fuck ur american studies, just like u guys to attack something ur scared of and know nothing about, its no surprise he kicked ur asses, u can send any of your steroid injecting military men(ya i said it and its a fact) up against a chinese master and u wont stand a chance, unlike americans we have respect for people and would never do such things

  • @gonzoderp Just like you have respect for the Tibetan people right?

  • @gonzoderp Says the person who generalizes all of us americans. Fuck yourself you hypocritical fuck. If you have so much respect you would at least use the words "many americans". You arrogant fuck, you probably just like to go to martial art videos and flame on everybody because you are a yellow belt master.

  • tai chi is actually 1 of the most powerful forms of martial arts, it transfers all kinetic energy into ur strikes, this video looks fixed however but tai chi is not something to be making fun of, have respect

  • These guys are a joke

  • @froggy57

That's why they're in the Olympics and you're sitting on your fat ass typing away at your computer.

  • FUCKING DISGRACE TO CHINESE MARTIAL ARTS, CHINESE CULTURE, CHINESE PEOPLE, AND P.R. CHINA.

  • Haha, Tai Chi is the most worthless "Martial Art" in the world. Why is it that it's so hard to find a Tai Chi practitioner fighting an expert in Muay Thai, BJJ or Judo? I mean, aside from the fact it would be horribly embarrassing to the Tai Chi fighter.

  • @zetronman Nothing's completely worthless in the MA world. It's just that it's hard for the modern man to understand it. Refer to this: /watch?v=Mc4YKgNpyBc&feature=related

  • is this the wwe of china?

  • this aren't real taichi masters , there are even greater taichi masters who learns real taichi...

  • this is just a pushing game

  • Is this like wrestling for asian people?

  • Comment removed

  • This is how real martial art practicioners used the technique in fighting.

  • all martial arts are partial aspects of the whole. i study wing chun. barra gracie jiu jitsu and jeet kune do. jeet kune do is the only art that fully addresses all aspects of fighting. tai chi and pushing hands is a very limited scope of reality and realistic fighting. mma does not compare. it lacks the subtle technique of a true art. this fight lasted too long. though good.

  • this was good. realistic for sure. what idiots are commenting on this. it was not choreagrpahed that was obvious but the red guy responded in real time to the black sashes attacks. not sure how you guys think not.

  • they both have a snowball's chance in hell against a small skinny bjj fighter

  • this is just Show program I watched it. Nothing to do with real Chinese martial arts (Taiji or Gongfu)

  • @FeilongShifu idiot, the guy in red suite can kick your ass to explode

  • @JiachenZhang ??? nice language you have, your parents didn't teach you that. streetguy go play somewhere else, question: did you ever practice traditional Chinese Gongfu? i think not, so then close your mouth, first go to train few years in Shaolin etc and then come back to open your mouth. Ni di ming bai?

  • they are fighting for burgers ...

  • Just can not see efforless Taiji techniqe. But see both guy exhausted after hard fight. No different with external kongfu

  • this !s fking Sumo lol

  • It's like chinese WWC or something?

  • This guy is red is very good. He can push a 8kg metal into air with his tummy!

  • yeah try choreographing falling of a raised platform of 4 ft tall, when your in your 40's you must think this is a show!

  • Not to mention these Taiji fighters are definately in there 40's or even 50's.

  • We can consider mma real, why? because there are rules, it is just another sport! I respect sports too, but reall fighting isn't entertainment it's raw and ugly, and people die, or end up in the hospital, if that aint what your seeing then just respect it as a sport, besides it's better to preserve life than take it away, who are we to do that? To me fighting si simply about maximizing my potential as well as others!

  • i think all martial arts are good, like they say it all depends on the fighter not his style, persoanlly tho to th boy who thinks mma fighters are the best, there not cus you got all them rules that fly out the window in a streetfight, most effective fighters tho are unconventional soldiers.

  • I bet you $12 that the fat guy is no real tai chi master

  • pretty much any full contact art like boxing, kick boxing or hard grappling arts will kill this.

  • @AFGalwayz This isn't full contact. Tai Chi blows are devastating and they don't want them hitting in the face. The guy that won this match in the red does Chen style. Fa Jing or explosive power is the striking in it. It is a violent snapping and shaking power resulting from full body power. The goal is not to get hurt but to show their fighting skill. Look everyone is welcome to their own opinion. Just because TaiJi isn't used in the UFC or American fighting, doesn't mean it cant hang.

  • @dekal1

i understand but even light sparring matches in boxing, kickboxing, muay thai or sanda look far more realistic and viable.

  • @AFGalwayz Ok I don't think you know the power behind those sweeps throws and kicks. Take my word for it. As someone who practices what the guy in the red does, this stuff is BRUTAL. I am telling you it is a mixed martial art in its own. Ur not seeing the locking or power punching. Look these guys aren't boxers, they don't stick and move. They like puttin people on the ground and finishing them. But they have to go sort of light. Look up Chen TaiJi more. U will learn.

  • @dekal1 hands to protect ur face basic fighting fundamental. i aint buying this for 1 sec lol. from their stance to that trip the guy tried @ 1:10 it looks like something that could work in the movies.

  • @AFGalwayz Fair enough. But until you know more about the methods and training you shouldn't speak on it. This is one of the best styles of self defense on the planet. I know the training methods of striking, trapping and locking. They train sensitivity training called push hands. Joining hands in a striking simulation and pushing the hand at the face. It builds a reactionary block to the outside of the wrist when a punch is thrown at the face. They aren't punching at the face here.

  • @AFGalwayz They practice side stepping slanting and much more. This is just a fraction of what real TaiJi is and can be. You notice that guys sidekick? How about the shoulder strike? Go look up Chen XiaoWang.

Put Chen XiaoWang Fajin. Then you can see how the grandmaster punches in this style. This is not fake and it is as good as any fighting style there is. I know because I learned it and learned the training methods and defense methods for striking kicking takedowns and grappling.

  • @AFGalwayz There is a lot of locking and violent strikes including elbows, knees and sweeps that you won't see in these kinds of matches. The training is RIGOROUS and to be good at this you must train at least four hours a day including push hands. Realistic is not the right word to use for fighting. Especially of this magnitude. Don't be fooled by what you see here. Even though they both show an extreme amount of skill. I know someone from Chen family was on there .AND THEY DONT FAKE.

  • holy shit, that umpire looks like Mao Zhe Dong

  • chinese wrestling got skills, nuff

  • why Jet Lee did it differently?

  • @PRAISEDnFAME totally different kung fu style

  • Yea that shoulder strike was nasty.

  • 那一脚太厉害了。。。我以为太极只用上身,下盘只要稳就好了

  • lol 2:07 i almost heard the announcer go like hadouken as the red striped guy kicked the other guy xD

  • wow!!!! hes really a tai chi master...

  • Some people just have to realize that the whole point of this fight is to get your opponent off of the ring, not to beat the shit out of them. Just like sumo, different techniques for different sports.

  • ok so yeah...who actually believes this shit??

  • 老趙,你都要死了,還學什麼六點半?

  • he tossed his salad

  • don't know whether I should call it stupid fight or not. their movement a bit awkward

  • Those who see the video and think its size that win, u are wrong. The red guy is more experience in technique. Look at the techinque & u can see that the red guy is throwing his opponent off balance by using his opponent weight and strike. when his opponent strike , he pull return the force . When his opponent dare not atk, he pushes in and throw him off balance. That is what taichi yin and yang is about. Adapt to ur opponent , and not just look at the size & say "bigger always win"

  • only the bigger guy EVER gets a point. THIS IS A REALLLLLLY bad wexample of how tai chi is a good fighting technique. what it asho0ws is that weight advantage is EVERYTHING!

  • looks like comedy to me ^_^

  • the regulations aree verry strict china likes to give flare to things at times just to call more attention andthe techniques used are deadly the armor is a must just like when you watch the baji fights they also wear the armor if not injury or death can occur

  • Pretty sure it was staged

  • @menu12345

This is not staged like WWF. I saw the man in red belt wrestled a Japanese sumo wrestler. The japanese sumo wrestler shoulder was at his head level. He used his internal strength to block the jap wrestler.

  • fake

  • LOL tweedledum and tweedledee having a fight to the death!

  • QI Gung, not tai chi.

  • I was surprised, this actually had really good fighting tai chi. I saw some tai chi dodges, and takedowns.... it was actually good!

  • mmmhh. i got hungry!

  • For those that don't know, this is a Lei Tai Tournament. Lei Tai is a classic competition in China that has been around for who knows how long. People used to get killed on the Lei Tai. It was very very violent and a lot of martial arts made their way into the world because of its show in the Lei Tai.

  • What is this, sketch comedy?

  • Is this open for both northern and southern styles?

  • whats this called? what are the rules? please tell!!

  • No! WAY! I watched this on TV HAHAHA I love this! Fantastic!

  • infairness to this art, it can be a useful self defense against an assailant with no martial arts background. in my opinion, this show was supposed to teach people what is tai chi in real time, its not a pure fight like what you see some martial arts tournament. this is a show, not like those reality fighting championships you people used to watch.

  • For those who know how and what physics is, they should be able to tell that they are not jumping back intentionally, but iti s rather the power that is knocking them back. Quite far actually.

  • they phat

  • the only thing tai chi about this is those guys waving their arms.

  • this just show me how dumb people actually is, lol.

a serious martial artist would not fight in a ring with stupid people screaming out loud like a wrestling fighter... this just make me laugh.

  • @kyuhan5000 they would and they have, the point is these lads are useless

  • Säkert, lika riktig som american wrestling.

  • These guys are good but they can do better than this........keep concentrate on developing chi not on fight.

  • These guys would toss anybody on here. They aren't playin games out there. You couldn't hang with them. They are highly skilled.

  • @dekal1

    Highly skilled?

    They move like fat pigs.

    Kicks like my grandmother.

In my opinion,in a street fight with a trained kickboxer or some,he just got his ass kicked.

    Sorry for my english.

  • @MicroMacroUniverse You failed to notice the thick sheet of padding covering their chest. That couldn't be to protect them form, I don't know, internal damage maybe? This guys are throwin eachother and they are doing it effortlessly. Please study more martial arts before you comment on such a highly respect one.

  • @dekal1 they are complete rubbish and physically incompetent not to mention out of shape.Theres nothing skilled going on here. They cannot strike and they sure as hell cant wrestle

  • @dekal1

They protect them so much because they are fat gaysh balloons. Please study more martial arts before you comment on such a highly gay one.

    XD

  • @MicroMacroUniverse How many martial arts do you study? And how many martial ats have I studied? You don't know how many I have studied do you? That's because you don't know me or my background. Also, I think you are the one who should be studying more. Because if you are thinking that Tai Chi isn't an effective martial art, well, maybe you should find someone who really
