some crazy footsies there. if you look carefully, daigo stays just out of sakura's hk range for nearly the entire first round and occasionally takes a step inside to poke. he did the same thing against sagat till sagat nearly runs out of guard meter, then goes on some crazy offense. and the last round was just crazy guile pressure.

@gildrop Nope they couldn't, once they would try to escape from his booms and would jump they would get their ass kicked.

The reason why Daigo uses a lot of projectiles is because they are EXTREMLY useful, he just spams them and if you jump he fucks your ass.

That's why most top players just spam projectiles if they have them, it's not cheap, it's mindgaming and zoning.

Guile's jab SB in SFIV has almost instant recovery, his flash kick has extended range and his normals have decent priority. The only thing that sucks is his ultra which is almost impossible to land. I've heard somewhere that you can combo it off his regular super. I haven't seen it done though. I wonder if Fujisawa and Aojiru know about it D:

I don't think some people understand how much space Guile covers in this game. His standing roundhouse is so fucking effective they had to limit the space in SF4. His ability to close ground with quick strikes,Strengh and pressure made him a terror like SF2.

Those jap guiles...not just Daigo's Guile. Amir left a lot of openings and used a lot of special moves at the wrong time. It happens in the pressure of a match like that.
