@SvddenDeth hahaha that is like, the DEFINITION of a switchblade, man. it doesn't have to be spring powered both ways, just out. You're thinking of a double action switchblade, where the button makes it go in and out. And dude, "not bad" is not the way to describe a microtech. it's like a 400+ dollar knife. it's nice as hell.

@f8talh8red It is purpose built as a weapon, all the way from the lighting fast deployment, to its shape. Sure, you could do small cutting tasks, like opening boxes, but OTF knives don't have the greatest lock up, even for a Microtech, which is pretty much the best out there for auto knives. A knife of last-ditch defense, or of plain intimidation, nice, but I'd personally prefer a balisong any day, much more intimidation, and in terms of non fixed-blades, the strongest lock up you can find.

This knife FAILS simply for the reload design. There are far better OTF knives available with an auto retract.

@ajhnson the single actions with charging handle allow for more solid lock up than double actions

@ajhnson Just look at all of Microtech's other OTF's that are all auto retracts except for the Nemesis. They designed it this way on purpose to have the best lock up and fire the fastest. Thats why this is there most expensive OTF right now. Microtech doesnt know the meaning of FAIL
