i have to admit, it would have been nasty to have said "i think you're rude!" So I understand when Fearne didn't say anything, especially as Mischa Barton seems to be a very complicated character. I don't think she's sneaky, but I still think it was a mistake when she was so bitchy. I would be so pissed if someone made me wait for hours, so it's understandable. Actually she said, "at times I've felt protective over you," so it isn't like she lied, she just avoided to end the interview bitterly.

So much of what Fearne says, we only have her word for. There's been no real evidence of the "strange behaviour" she talked about in the record store, and I noticed when she was waiting outside Mischa's house, for apparently four hours, the sun and shadows on the bench and porch area from the numerous surrounding trees didn't move at all. Could it be that she's trying to make a nice girl look bad? I think so. She sounds quite jealous to me.

I think fearne was honest, but still balanced- she wasn't too faced, I think she was just trying to understand Mischa as a person without being rude and purposely hurting her feelings, which in turn would only make her more shrewd rather than open....but thats just my opinion of course

That is just how the reality shows like that are filmed in the UK. The presenter usually has voiceovers commenting on the celebrity they are interviewing. She wasn't saying anything mean about Mischa. She was just stating the truth. Mischa did come across as kooky and weird at times. And she did leave her waiting a lot. I get being jet jagged but not turning up for her interviewing when she had arranged to film is unprofessional and she didn't even bother to call.

Fearne is trying to be like a Louis Theroux or the tactic that Sacha Baron Cohen will take when interviewing people, where its one thing to the interviewee and another for the audience. It seems to be a real Brit approach. Lets also consider Fearne isn't the most intuitive, sensitive, or eloquent. Mischa is obviously running around bleeding wounded from the world around her, obviously a sensitive soul who has been hardened by hard LA life, and Fearne also hardened by UK showbiz.
