  • And no, they didn't originate from the north. That's bullshit.

  • JAJAJA THEY ARE A COPY OF THE MEXICAN CHARRO¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • @Luisgerardovi No, they are a copy of the Mexican Vaquero because the cowboy is entirely Mexican. Hell, the word "cowboy" was the way the yanks translated Vaquero to English. Face it you yanks, the cowboy is Mexican.

  • I might live in the city, but I prefer the country and the cowboys and girls. Im lucky enough to have some as my mentors. Theyve taught me a lot of good stuff. Forget all the 'cowboys' that just dress and talk like cowboys, but dont do the work that comes with the name. Give me the true cowboys and girls. the ones that work for what they love, and barely get by. Give me my horse and set me to work. I hope to one day earn the title of cowgirl.

  • fuckin white trash scum just love to come on videos where they can blow off steam about Mexicans in videos that are about Mexicans, they flood every youtube channel just to trash talk and spit their venomous racist rants, their obssession over us disgusts me.

  • @MrTinoco09 You are going about it the wrong way, bro. The Aztecs are not our national identity. Aztecs didn't conquer the northern states, nor the southern states, just the central states. Our official language is Spanish, and our motherland is Spain.

  • @FernandoLuis191 I never said the Aztecs conquered the northern sates I said they originated from the north..And they are only part of our national identity, we are a mix of many different Native American groups, our official language is now Spanish but we originally spoke Nahuatle and and different other dialects okay? and our motherland isn't God damn Spain because your not from Spain okay so don't start with me too. We are Mexicans ok? Spaniards are Spaniards.

  • @MrTinoco09 Are you retarded?. Stop trying to impose that identity on a country where there were many tribes besides the aztecs, not to mention that a large part of the population is white. By they way, yes, Spain is our motherland. What's the official language? Who designed the flag? Iturbide. In what language is our anthem? Spanish. I didn't say we were not Mexicans. I said that our motherland is Spain, which is true. Don't twist my words.

  • Haha "real" cowboys arent gringos...haha mexico is where vaqueros are. white ppl have no culture so they saw cool vaqueros and told themselves-hey we suck at culture, have stupid english saddles, wear funny lookin shoes etc etc..." we'll try and adopt the mexican vaquero culture... gringo "cowboys"=posers...hehehe greetings from saltillo mexico pinche gringo puneteros

  • @houston56able lmao The whole cowboy thing came from us! where do these stupid whites get that we are trying to be white because we have a culture of cowboys? first they have nothing to emulate they are just poor white trash with no culture how do you think you always hear a stupid redneck talking about that he is cheroke or choctaw, like tim mc graw that fuckin clown aint indian!,

  • @MrTinoco09 go back to your 3rd world country and make us some mexican food please, we dont need lil bitches like you out of the kitchen, hahahahahahahaha

  • @MrTinoco09 dum fucking ass mother fucker shut up cowboys didnt get started by you dumass mexicans your a hole bunch of wetback dumass

  • @cowboyup4889 lasso, rancho, bbq, Vaquero, ect is Mexican in origin so swallow that and like it.

  • @MrTinoco09 i aint gonna swallow shit wetback ranch got started from people who needed food dum wetback

  • @cowboyup4889 like I said if I am a wetback your back is wetter and you could swallow that like your mom swallows buckets.

  • @MrTinoco09 u are a wetback nigger and i dont exactly have a mom dum ass i have a step mom dum fuck so choke that down like all you fat wetback choke down burritos

  • @cowboyup4889 lmao you don't exactly have a mom? meaning that your mom is prob your aunt? so they call her your step mom because she got stepped on by the whole family like roosters stepping on the chicken during sex so that they could have baby chickens LOL! I am not fat, and I am not a wetback, I was born here, and I am definetly not a nigger like the kind that prays on white girls like your barefooted sister running around the trailer park with cut offs.

  • @MrTinoco09 just cuz you were born here doesnt mean shit and i dont live in a trailor park thas the problem with america now days we let all you wet back in and then you talk shit about us how would you like it if i went to mexico and said shit about your country all you guys are killers and thieves

  • @cowboyup4889 Yeah.. LOL it did. And you cultureless bag of white trash had to jock our nuts over it and it pains you because its the truth, and you can't stand it, like you can't stand the fact that u.s was Mexican territory by ethnicity and kinship, meaning navajo, paiute, apache, ect dialect was based on the ancient Mexican dialect uto Aztecan, you fuckin barbarians didn't even exist here, so if iam a wetback your back is wetter then mine.

  • @cowboyup4889 i hate to brake it to you but they did in fact get started in mexico look it up cowboys are as mexican as it gets sorry but the truth hurts.

  • @tejano151 ok ill look it up and see what it says

  • Good pics! R they frm Wyoming? That's where I live!

  • I came from 'out west' and like country music and even wear western style clothing, but I'm no Cowboy. My Uncle Del was the closest thing to a cowboy in our family. He owned a small farm, a few horses and sheep and was as honest and hardworking as the day is long. You know he was a Cowboy because the animals came first before he would retire for the evening. I watched as he patiently cared for an injured Foal during a Summer when I stayed with his family.

  • I was so pleased when I hear that first guitar pluck, Chris LeDoux one of the actual cowboy country artists that lived...RIP

  • red dead redemption

  • Oh and the Vaquero had it's roots in Spain and in the first habitants of the continent of America. The word cowboy came to use in 1725, it was the english traduction to the word "Vaquero".

  • @FernandoLuis191 hey chihuahua looser! answer me this...y r mexicunts so eager 2 b classifed as white??? y r u faggots the only morans trying 2 kiss white people's asses? at least the other minorities stand up and fight their oppressors! u mexicunts are the ONLY idiiots trying to win our love. that will never happen faggot. mexicunts are the rudest most disgusting STUPIDEST scum that ever walked this earth. i use mexicunts as my toilet paper. u guys are happy to lick my ass. u like it i LOVE IT

  • @yrmexicansstupid I hear so many whites comming on YT blowing off steam like you talking about one day they are gonna raise arms and the south is gonna rise and kill everybody LMAO I find it comical a stupid hillbilly like you trying to shoot at me with his musket LOL

  • @MrTinoco09 I wouldn't need to raise arms. i'd just show u my white golden skin & u'd fall to your kness 2 worship me like your stupid ancestors did! & the mexicans of today are just as stupid if not stupider! u think hating on other minorities r gonna win our love? NEVER! i have more respect for ALL other ethnicities...cuz at least they don't try to bow down 2 peoople who don't like them...they try 2 fight us! u mexicunts r pathetic...trying to claim whiteness in order to be our dogs! mexiCUNTS

  • @yrmexicansstupid you would raise arms after you showed me your white trash skin? I would just whisk your dirty hillbilly ass away in apathy and disregard for your trailer ass, your no real threat, just white trash LOL

  • The American Cowboy, even if you don't want to admit it-is HEAVILY influenced by the Mexican Cowboy-.Just look at how many words you guys have "Americanized".You guys borrowed vocabulary and attire. Hell, the name

"cowboy" is the Americanized version of "Vaquero". Cheers.

  • @FernandoLuis191 where did the cowboy originate?

  • @FernandoLuis191 Cowboy is english for Vaquero, the reason why americans use cowboy is because it consisted of horseback riders to herd cattle plus other ranch tasks. But don't be sayin that us americans "borrowed" the vocabulary, a lot of nations have there own names according to there language and culture.

  • @Mitchellpilot909 You think "Ranch" is an english word? You think "Stampede" is an english word?. Come on, Vaqueros are the original Cowboys.

  • @FernandoLuis191 Actually yes stampede is English for estampida, and ranch is English for rancho, still doesn't mean we "borrowed" those words. We have words that are in our own language, we don;t have to use Spanish language when we speak English, lol and we are not "Americanizing" the words either we are just speaking English. Its like you use "casa" we use "house" but it doesnt mean we borrowed that word and Americanized it. :)....What nation did the cowboys originate from?

  • @Mitchellpilot909 Yeah, but those are Vaquero words. You did "Americanized" them, I mean look at how weirdd the word "Cowboy" sounds, in Spanish "Vaquero" is not weird at all, Cowboy it's truly an "Americanized" word(which is not bad).. Look, I don't care, I like cowboys, but you must admit that they are heavily influenced by the Mexican Vaquero.

  • @FernandoLuis191 Ok then, I give you my respect. even tho i have different opinions about your believes.

  • @FernandoLuis191 the entire vaquero culture was basically stolen by gringos. Now, gringo cowboys think they're tough. Haha, my uncle works on a ranch near laredo and those gringos up there are stupid. the older ones are cool. but the young ones are too stupid to know that spanish horseman were the best in the world, and mexicans perfected that combined w/ large herds

  • @houston56able You said it, man.

  • yeehaw

  • love it.My dad wants me to play football, buy i know in my hart im a cowboy.Long live cowboys

  • love it

  • im a buckaroo and this song really touchs home

  • @KamatzKatan Your right he wasn't a working cowboy. That's not the point of the song. It's reminding us that there was a time were the "Cowboy" ment something to American people. Honourable, dependable, and just. Though, John Wayne may of not been a cow puncher other then in the movies, He at least portrayed the Cowboy spirit conmendably, not like the hombres with the feather in their hats, wearing the French labled jeans.

  • I'm touched that so many of you enjoyed my video! Cowboy's & Cowgirls are first and foremost stewards of the land and the animals in their keep. Not title a they label themselves because they like to watch rodeo, wear cowboy boots, drive big wheeled mudding pickups and listen to "country music". Most are humble and wouldn't call themselves "Cowboy" for they feel they've not earned the honor to stand in the shadow of the real leagands. Cowboy isn't something U do but rather a lifestyle.

  • @RidnRope can't thank you enough for posting this video. great job.

  • @RidnRope Hi, i know this sound's stupid but is it possible for someone who's not American be a cowboy. :)

    thanks.

  • @kiddo097 Nawww, it's not stupid Kiddo. I don't think it matters where you live, there's great cowboy's and girls not only in America but in Canada, Mexico, Brazil and I can go on and on. It's a lifestyle. And if you live by the code and it's in your heart, I don't think it matters what country you call home if you turely live the cowboy way.

  • @RidnRope Thank's, i 100% agree with you. Thank you again :)

  • They got cowboys in Georgia and Alabama but they're from the cheesy variety.

  • @PupuTheClown Lol whataya mean "they're from the cheesy variety"?

  • @RidnRope @kiddo097 I agree with RidnRope. Course you can be a cowboy/girl even if your not from America ;) Other countries just have different names for it ;)

  • @LilMissForgottenHope Wrong. The original cowboy is the Mexican vaquero. Hell, where you think the term comes from?...VAQUERO. Also, América is the name of the continent, not the country. Has been that way long before you guys came here.

  • Real cowbows don't abuse animals for fun.

  • @sohcsarewicked Well if it isnt our uninformed troll. Ever figure out that rodeo is to REAL cowboys as auto racing is to a truck driver hauling freight? They both use similar principles only one is competive and the other is a profession. Every cowboy that could swing a rope practiced on a roping steer and perhaps "abused" it by roping and tripping it or stretching it out. Sorry, you need to go troll vegan videos to find a person to support your claims.

  • @granitehills2t Sorry bud these are the real cowboys ones that actually have work to do , not the wannabees rodeo thugs that you love to nut swing. You won't see any jerk downs in these real cowboy videos that must make you upset. Truck drivers , I think truck drivers are the only ones wearing cowboy hats these days, them and rodeo thugs.

  • @sohcsarewicked You hate rodeo and seemingly you try to win over "real" cowboys. You have never met a real cowboy. They are not the kind of people that would appreciate an anti-rodeo type mainly because in order to get good at their profession you MUST practice. What better way than in a rodeo arena at a ranch roping or team doctoring competion? You dont know what either is, so I am wasting my time. Troll else where.

  • @sohcsarewicked I wear a COWBOY and have never driven a big rig in my life and I try to enter in rodeos win I can how do you thank we get the brand on the calves O NO a JERK DOWN

  • the real cowboys where from northern mexico then crossed the border to the us

  • Reminds me of my grandpa. Thanks for a good cry. Loved Chris Ledoux!

  • CHRIS LeDOUX IS THE SHIT!

  • god bless Chris Ledoux

  • Good vid. Great song. Glad i can do my part to keep the cowboy way alive. A real cowboy doesnt just rodeo. Its about pasture roping and doctoring. Keeping a healthy cow or calf herd and knowing that you can take pride in your work because nobody made the decisions to make it better or worse but you. Thank thegood Lord above that i can call myself a cowboy.

  • i miss that way of live i was takin out of it at 17 and now trying to get back to it seems impossible

  • God Bless you all Cowboys and cowgirls, i want to live in USA and become a cowboy !! I don't need anything else. Greetings from spain !

  • Nice video!

I just find it sad that the Mexican Vaquero who were mostly Native Americans (my people) never got the recognition of being the first and true Cowboys. The first ever to herd cattle and the first rope masters just to mention a couple. Oh yea, the ones who invented the Rodeo!

The Vaquero is the Genesis of the American Cowboy.

  • @DreadedPantherTank

    thats true...

the native americans were the first real cowboys.

  • @Conpa18Dani Actually the Spaniards would be, as they were the ones that introduced horses to the Americas, and started ranching the way we do.

  • @Alexandros1294 The historic American cowboy of the late 19th century arose from the vaquero traditions of northern Mexico and became a figure of special significance and legend.

  • @cooldbz12 Indeed sir. The vaquero's trace their roots back to Spain though.

  • @Conpa18Dani The historic American cowboy of the late 19th century arose from the vaquero traditions of northern Mexico and became a figure of special significance and legend.

  • Thank you for the awesome video. You have all sorts of diverse cowboys and buckeroos on it.

  • i dont live on a ranch enenymore. But you can take the cowboy from the ranch but you cant take the ranch out of the cowboy

  • A real cowboy video with a real cowboy song!

    God Bless CHRIS LEDOUX!!!!!!

  • i wish i can live this life

  • God created me to become a cowboy...to ride out on the mountains and plains of the US..he doesnt want me to become a city man...but to become an american cowboy...i will make sure that the cowboy tradition goes down to my children and my children's children...God bless america that we have our cowboys ridin out on the range.

  • i need your guys help taking shark online down he trying to shut down our sweet rodeos!!!!!!!!!!!HELP!!

  • @justice95490 That guy is just another tree huggin idiot. No one that matters is paying any attention to him and that's what has him pissed off. It's all about the attention....

  • oh ok thank you that does make sense, have an awsome day!

    cowboys kiss ass!

  • Chris LeDoux

  • I'm only a teenager but i am a cowgirl to the heart. I had a time span where i didn't want anything to do with the cowboy stuff, and i realized how much i missed it. Now im competing in rodoes for the love and fun of it. Im never leaving this way of life again.

  • i never did rodeo i always went to'em though. i was raised up on a 250 acer farm where our main income came from that crop year. had 50 to 60 head of cattle. now im off to college in the city and i miss the hell out of it. waking up early feed the hourses then eat and get ready for school. that farm has been in my family for 75 years and im gonna keep it going for another 75 years after i get my degree. thers no amount of money to get that place from the family or me . i love and miss the farm.

  • hey is that Chad Rainsdon in your video when it says "first to buy the beer"? looks just like him!!

  • God wants me to be a cowboy..God wants me to ride the open range..he doesnt want me to work in a office or a bank..for that...he would think is kinda strange.

  • really the name of the song is riding fences and this is true there are not as many cowboys anymore but there are if and when i grow up my kids will not know what fear is they are going to be riding starting the day that they start walking or running

  • In the words of Wrangler...

    Long Live Cowboys!!!

  • "I shoulda been a cowboy

I shoulda learned to rope and ride

Wearing my six-shooter, riding my pony, on a cattle drive."

First Generation Horse-Trainer. I think I was born in the wrong family.

  • Us cowboys and cowgirls are a dying breed.

We need to keep the tradition alive.

Everyone who's a real cowboy/cowgirl, rancher, etc... Don't give it up. Don't change! Lets keep western ways and keep this traditon alive.

    <3

  • @smalltownskgirl one day i hope to join you england is no place for a cowboy like me

  • @smalltownskgirl I agree my friend! i am yet to have holiday/vacation in the US on one of those working ranches... hehe I am so going to spend at least 3 weeks! everything thinks im crazy but I love the country and love the idea of seeing how cowboys and cowgirls do it :D

  • @smalltownskgirl amen

  • @smalltownskgirl no sir we aint! ;)

  • Ledoux walked the walk and talked the talk. He's one of the very few Cowboys who actually was one, and sang about it. My stetson's off to him. He brought the "real" cowboy to the world who thought the real cowboy went extinct.

  • i agree i never rodeoed much i grew up ranching theres not a better job anywhere its sad that land and cowboys are going away i just hope me and my father can keep are ranch going for another 50 years

  • i agree 100% with you

I miss his CD, because I sold his CD.

  • Anyone Knows the song?

  • I love to see stuff like this, REAL cowboys, not some poser kid driving around in the sports ute daddy bought them ...I hear you guys, respect!

  • There is something about these men that is truly incredible.

  • anyone else here hate the people who drive thier daddys truck around and call themself a "cowboy" ??? i live and work on a ranch and when im not working i drive a toyota camry. for gods sake, put down the cope, give your dad his truck back, and find another trend.

  • Ok.....?

  • ha. sorry, just needed to get that out.

  • I understand fully. What really gets me is all these guys in the ag. frats at school that drive around in the big diesel trucks and say they farm. HA. If they actually farmed they wouldn't be able to afford such a thing. I drive a civic cause that is what I can afford to drive unless I'm on the farm.

  • THANK YOU MY FRIEND!!

i honestly want to see one of these kids try to work one day on a farm or a ranch. That would make my day. Even a branding or cutting hay. they would be FUCKED!

  • i drive a dodge cummins and I farm.

I also seem to afford it.

  • As long as its not rediculously lifted or any of that shit. and you dont live in a city. These kids drive GIANT lifted trucks and never use them for anything except cruising.

  • I here ya. How the hell they going to get a horse trailer hooked up to something like that? Same guys that hang out at the rodeo dance and tell all the girls how they rode that bull. we can tell the phoneys.

  • Amen my friend.

  • no wat u meen i hate all these poser kids they think just cus they hav a truck it makes them country

  • One true cowboy--Chris LeDoux . On March 9th I'm asking his fans to call their radio stations to request his music. It will be 4 years he is gone, but let's let radio know we will NEVER forget this great man. Please pass this on to all country music fans.
