It's a beautiful commercial. I think it stronges point it's precisely that it barely shows the blackberry device. As barcdru explains, they are selling a lifestyle with this commercial, a concept, not a product. From a marketing point of view, i think this shows how much the company trust in what they are doing. It's a risk, but i think it's so very well done, it sticks in our mind that it's about blackberries.

I dont like the new Blackberry commercials. Its just a bunch of people doing things without Blackberrys. In this one, Blackberry devices appear in only about 5 seconds worth. People are going on with their lives. Rock climbing, sewing, writing music, and auditioning. All without electronic gadgetry of any kind. Its almost like the commercial is telling me, put your god damn phone down and do something. Am I supposed to want to run out and buy a new Blackberry?
