I bought a Glamour magazine today, and saw you in it. That's what brought me to this video, and I'm glad, because I can't stop watching it. It's too funny.
Hey everyone, PLEASE check out the "Shit College Students Put Up With" video in my channel. It's a group project and we're graded on views. We'd REALLY appreciate your help & it's FUNNY! Thanks!!!
This is good. I would add something like, "how do you brush your hair?" or "you should straighten your hair". Ignorant white women say these things frequently.
I'm half black, half irish and truth be told, I get a lot of girls, who aren't black, saying some of these things. It's just meant to be a comical video. There really isn't any reason to be offended by it. There's plenty of other videos about shit black people say, etc, etc. Don't get your panties in a twist, folks!
She's parodying the stereotypical angry black girl who bitches about white people say. LOL Hilarious and such a good example of the typical "ghetto cunt." HAHA!! Bravo!
@9893038003 wow, not that she's even bitching about it. its meant to be funny. ur probably one of those who got offended by this. Its a great ice breaker to get people talking about the racism issues that still go on today.
This video makes me feel all kinds of icky inside...I know I've said/done some of these things with my black friends just out of ignorance. Ignorance is not an excuse, and I'm sorry. I have a lot to learn.
Its so funny how offended "some people" get once you throw their own racism back in their faces. As if we ethnics allowed to feel emotions...EVER! lol How dare us.
Almost all my friends at school are "black", i mean they all have tanned skin, whether their asian or islander or european or african they are all dark! and they all have this joke about me because i'm so white (english, irish, scottish Australian!) they say i have "white girl" swag, it's pretty funny and it's cool how we can make jokes about each other without use being labelled racist etc. Im totally against racism but people can get so wound up about it!
Lol I hear all of these things. The one that baffles me the most is the need for white girls to tell me they don't date black guys. I'm not a man, and I never ask (or care) if they date black men. Why do I need to know? Do they expect me to send a bat signal to black men all over the world that one basic ass white girl does not want them? I don't understand...
I'm only half black and I get these ALL the time. These comments didn't start coming until my friends found out I was half black. LMAO.. twinsees is the funniest shit i have ever heard.. dat was definitely my fave part of this video.. me and my friends have joked how tyrone jenkins is a typical black guy name too... you are so awesome for this.. i jus hope more ppl look at this for wat it is.. which is bringin attention to unknown ignorance and not being racist at all
Haha i'm like half black guy and I still can relate to 80% of the things said on both vids, this is incredible how some ppl are ignorant, the worst was "All black people look alike, there's not as much diversity as there is for Caucasian..." lol

Okay, if there were a white entertainment television, then it would be called WET (which sounds like a porn station, lol). You definitely held your own on the Anderson Cooper show it can be quite tough when people feel so strongly about the touchy issue of black and white. and turning things into something bigger than what a simple parody was supposed to be.
So accurate and so hilarious hahaha i couldn't stop laughing because it happens to me everytime I'm with my friends. So I posted this video in their walls in hopes they would get the tricking clue that they're not very original with their black girl friend comments haha
@herocactus hey now. you might be too smart for this comment section. don't come up in here breaking down privilege and how it factors into racism. people are bound to get upset and confused. lol
@chescaleigh Kinda random but, you are beautiful! And your hair is amazing! I have a great deal of respect for someone who is not scared of natural hair!
@herocactus Anyone who calls this video 'racist' feels there is nothing wrong with these comments..ergo..they, themselves, are unintentionally being racist. I am guilty of a few of these comments and Im also glad that someone has shed light on what I thought were innocent comments and questions said to friends. I am definitely more aware of my own ignorance.
I just watched the IMPACT piece you did with MTV. Powerful stuff. I really enjoy all of your material and these videos especially because my white friends have said a lot of those things to me. It's one thing to get offended and just get mad, but its a completely different story to not get angry and use comedy to explain and heal for crying out loud. Many blessings to you Chescaleigh. I love your life!!
How much of an asshole do you have to be to say half of those things? I can say I've probably said two or three of those things. (The one about that Black Tv network, and IM SURE I've said ghetto before)
Im a proud white boy and I am currently watching an interview of this girl from this video and I just wanted to say.... She looks wayyyyyy better on the tv interview without that blonde wig on. like man she is a hottie (without that wig)
I saw you on anderson (i believe thats the name) and really liked it. You seem like a very intelligent woman, you came with your stuff together and made alot of great valid points without discrimination to either race. I had to let you know i was impressed even though im nobody important lol. you showed me the view from another angel in a clear and understandable way. Funny video btw i know white girls who say those type things, mostly blondes, id say the blonde wig in ur video says it all jklol
hilarious and true! cant even begin to think of all the things ive had my white friends say that just amazes me. like omfg how do u not get that that is ignorant???my fav is i wanna have a mixed baby so it can have a built in tan... O.o okkaaayyy. or the ones who do and wont tell people their kid is half black...
omg why are people making a big thing out of this there just playing and having fun this is really hilarious and i'm black and have tons of white friends and they even tohught this video was hilarious so stop taking it seriously
As a black Jamaican living in Japan, I hear these things EVERY WEEK..esp when they touch my afro....I doubt they're racist tho. Love your vids black pickney!! love dem, love dem bad
@jhnntube.....then why didn't she call the video...shit girls say to black girls...or ...shit girls say to girls. I am married to a Vietnamese woman and my brother in law is from Guyana...amazingly, race and colour never seems to enter the conversation...I guess we have moved on and treat people as people no matter their background...I imagine that in itself is racist because I dont want to associate with xenphobes. Peace
@jawnytee because as much as you dont want to admit it most people picture a common person to be white. and you happen to see a girl who is black...you automatically think "shit white girls say to black people". what do you want..."shit half italian/half french say to half west indie/quarter nigerian/quarter south african american people"...white people have a vast amount of race and so do black people. race enters in white and black culture because at one point africans were at the bottom.
@jawnytee and by bottom I mean slavery. No disrespect to all other races because I live in Canada and everybody here has racial tention as well but this is a black women mainly focusing on one of her friends who happens to be white...once again speaking from experience of that similar race. Not many people have vietnamese encounters.
actually my apologies I can't speak for vietnamese encounters. but you are more likely to encounter this experience being a person who is black and not saying all people who are white do it but its just an example...so love it or leave it alone.
JHNNtube.....so...she is promoting herself on phony racism...just saw the special on MTV...and yep only bad white people were there...good for her...a admirable job to take a serious issue and make it funny...thereby devaluing the issue she is dealing with
@jawnytee this is not a promotion for racism...Dave Chappelle points out every racial encounter HE'S experienced, Russel Peters points out EVERY racial encounter he's experienced. Hers is far from the vulgar statements that comedians like those say. These are like like little comments that people do not find ignorant that other people MAY find offensive but not offensive enough to comment on.
@chescaleigh I only can relate from my own experience. You are more than welcome. It's not meant to be a sensitive topic. It's just the majority of white people kind of are sensitive because they feel that black people always talk bad about white people. But at the same time not all black people are the same...especially ones like me who don't use slang. Thanks for this video again. I feel at least like I can relate
@jawnytee she even went the extra mile by appearing on anderson cooper to talk about ways you can avoid saying things so it doesn't sound like all black people speak for another. That's a point you are failing to understand right now is that we are all speaking from personal experiences and the way it comes off is when you talk to black people seems like you are speaking as if ALL black people go through the same thing... eg. "do black people eat sushi." as opposed to "do you like sushi"
It got nothing to do if you black, brown, white and more... Just if 1 black person does something wrong, it doesn't mean that EVERY black people are wrong.... or brown or white people ! Color is just a color, can't fricken people just understand that .
thank heavens only white people are racist...this makes life so much easier when I travel to the Caribbean and all I hear is "hey white boy...fucking white boy...babylon..you took our land made us slaves..now you come here making us serve you drinks at this stupid white person resort that i am forced to work at"...now I know it is all in good fun and I am just getting what i deserve for being born..
@jawnytee once again...if you actually read her comments she's not a spokesperson for black people. These are her personal experiences she's gone through. She has done stand up comedy and all comedians say things that people are afraid to say for the purpose of making the punch more hilarious. When you talk in a way where you are assuming that all black people do the same thing...thats racist. Same for white people all acting the same when they aren't. It is just from her perspective.
@xxMrJones777xx what's "funny" is how many people don't understand what racism is. i'm not saying that white people are stupid, or less than anyone else. i'm not saying that white people don't deserve the same rights as anyone. i'm not oppressing anyone that's white. i'm not discriminating against anyone that's white. i'm simply repeating almost WORD FOR WORD things that white people have said to me. THAT IS NOT RACISM
@chescaleigh Well than you need to hang around a different group of people, because those are things that DUMB white girls say. You act like all white people are like that, and it is highly offensive. Since when is stereotyping an entire race not racism?
@xxMrJones777xx this is a parody of "shit girls say" and "shit black girls say" it's a PARODY it's COMEDY. comedy regularly uses generalizations for the sake of the joke. it's understood that this isn't about every white person the same way "shit girls say" isn't about EVERY GIRL. so no, i'm not stereotyping all white people. finally, saying stupid things doesn't make you a bad person or even a stupid person. i know some really wonderful people who've said stupid things.
@xxMrJones777xx also, this isn't just about "girls" (that's just the meme) it's about people. and not just people i've been friends with at one time or another, this includes people i've worked with and worked for. sheltered people are everywhere. should I quit working or leaving the house for fear of encountering someone who's going to touch my hair without my permission or saying something that offends me? no. instead, i choose to use humor to give people another perspective
@xxMrJones777xx finally, when a friend, stranger, or co-worker says or does one of these things I explain to them why it's offensive and not ok. I don't just stop associating with them because that's not always an option and doesn't solve anything. people make mistakes, and just because they're guilty of saying something offensive at one time doesn't mean they are regularly saying racist things to me or that they're racist or bad people
Black people need to wake up and learn to be human beings. They run around screaming like half evolved monkeys circling a banana tree and wonder why they don't get respect. They are the only ones keeping racism alive and keeping prosperity dead while others have to carry them on their back because blacks don't want to work for anything. They all feel they are owed everything just because their great grandparents had to pick some cotton. Yall grow up and stop destroying America. Thanks
@speakintruth111 sooo according to you black people act like "half evolved monkeys" but they are the ones keeping racism alive? that makes sense! guess what? all black people are not alike and i'm not doing anything to "destroy America". there are people who act like idiots in all ethnic groups, but their actions do not represent everyone. the same way that your racist ignorant hate speech doesn't speak for all white people.
@speakintruth111 blacks dont want to work for anything? countless times have a i known black families who cant get by on the 3 jobs everyone in the family is working. it is not close to their fault that blacks have been put into current situations, we as the white people have made some grave mistakes in the past, carving out a racist future that we now have to live in. Assuming that "they all" feel that they are owed something just shows your lack of knowledge. How about you grow up. thanks.
@speakintruth111 Wow. Do you even REALIZE how racist you just sounded? You just said "Black people don't want to work for anything." Way to stereotype. And they're the one's keeping racism alive? You're keeping racism alive with ignorant fucking comments. How hypocritical can you get? My God.
@speakintruth111 Dude, I'm white and find that offensive. Although this video is clearly inaccurate, and racist- there isn't any need to call them "monkeys" or insist that they are destroying America. You yourself are being ignorant and racist.
@Malteseifyme i appreciate you chiming in, but there's nothing racist about this video. it's about my personal experience with some white people. not all white people. and it's a parody of the meme "shit girls say" and "shit black girls say", hence the title.
As a black girl, I really hate when someone ask me how often I wash my hair or if they could touch my hair. Seriously, do you need to know when I wash my hair? Because I don't ask you so why ask me, huh?
@zombiekiller1213 do you realize how stupid you sound using the word "wigger"? as in white nigger? so someone who supposedly wants to be black is the only person guilty of saying ignorant things to black people? that doesn't even make sense. having black friends does not make you a "wigger". asking to touch someone's hair doesn't mean you want to be black. saying you don't date black guys doesn't mean you want to be black. seriously. your ignorance is mind blowing.
@chescaleigh exactly. It's your experience. But this is not how all white girls act as you have stated to me. I just wish you would put something in your summary regarding how it's based off your experience- because, honestly as a white female I find this super offensive and until you said anything I thought you were stereotyping. If the shoe was on the other foot, and I made a video regarding my experiences with African Americans- it would be racist.
@Malteseifyme if you read the video description box, there are links to numerous articles about the video and a link to my appearance on the Anderson Cooper talk show about this video. the difference between my video and a white person dressing up as a black person and doing the reverse is that for HUNDREDS of years we've been mocked by traditional media. the same is not true for someone that is white.
@Malteseifyme this video is not based on stereotypes. it's based on facts. it's not saying all white people act this way. it's about SOME people. it is not saying that all white people are stupid and it's not saying that white people don't deserve the same rights as anyone else. this is a video about things people have said to me. i'm not making generalizations about a race of people. finally, you're more than welcome to make a video about whatever and whomever you want.
@chefawkes you'd be surprised how many people have sent me private emails thanking me for my comments and expressing that they've learned something about their own racial bias. so no, I won't give it up. just because this person doesn't get it, doesn't mean that my words can't reach and educate someone else.
@MegaMoneymoney2 well i'm glad you enjoyed it. but the lesson isn't that "you'll get your ass kicked". not all black people respond with violence when they're offended....you should avoid saying the N word because it's offensive and inappropriate given it's history, and that can't be changed because you "don't mean it that way"
fair enough. just so much garbage on youtube comments i figure it's like one person picking up litter to clean up the planet. almost a hopeless task, but more power to you. saw you on anderson cooper. i know you said you didn't wanna be a spokesperson for black ppl, but you should really consider it ;)
@chefawkes i have to say, that's a pretty accurate analogy. but picking up a piece of trash does make a difference, even if it's a small one. YT comments tend to be a waste land of illiterate teenagers and racist trolls and I don't see that changing anytime soon. But I've actually had some great conversations/discussions int he comments and made some unlikely but amazing friends over the course of some rather heated online debates.
@chefawkes as for being a spokesperson, it's not a role I've sought out, but if my voice can open people's mind's then I'm for it. I'm willing to admit that I don't know everything or have all the answers, but I'm trying to learn as much as possible and am willing to share ideas with anyone that's respectful of my opinions and wants to work towards finding a way to talk about our differences in a respectful and intelligent way.
This is so accurate. I'm smeanshe exaggerates it a little but it's so true. Like I cant stand it when people have to ask "is that all your hair?" I know they don't mean anything bad by it, but it just irks me.
i really love this, i've watched so many of these, and people just have a hard time expressing themselves w/o sounding racist or stereotyping one another. you've done a wonderful job and it was HILARIOUS! you came across clearly, PLUS these are things that are said to me ALL the time, so i can actually relate! lolz i was kind of hoping you were going call yourself "exotic" b/c i ALWAYS get that one also lolz. thanx for making this:)
this is funny "Not to sound racist....but" lol and the whole "that's ghetto" thing is a little annoying sometimes

Peace
jawnytee 4 days ago
@jawnytee because as much as you dont want to admit it most people picture a common person to be white. and you happen to see a girl who is black...you automatically think "shit white girls say to black people". what do you want..."shit half italian/half french say to half west indie/quarter nigerian/quarter south african american people"...white people have a vast amount of race and so do black people. race enters in white and black culture because at one point africans were at the bottom.
JHNNtube 4 days ago
@jawnytee and by bottom I mean slavery. No disrespect to all other races because I live in Canada and everybody here has racial tention as well but this is a black women mainly focusing on one of her friends who happens to be white...once again speaking from experience of that similar race. Not many people have vietnamese encounters.
JHNNtube 4 days ago
actually my apologies I can't speak for vietnamese encounters. but you are more likely to encounter this experience being a person who is black and not saying all people who are white do it but its just an example...so love it or leave it alone.
JHNNtube 4 days ago
JHNNtube.....so...she is promoting herself on phony racism...just saw the special on MTV...and yep only bad white people were there...good for her...a admirable job to take a serious issue and make it funny...thereby devaluing the issue she is dealing with
jawnytee 4 days ago
@jawnytee this is not a promotion for racism...Dave Chappelle points out every racial encounter HE'S experienced, Russel Peters points out EVERY racial encounter he's experienced. Hers is far from the vulgar statements that comedians like those say. These are like like little comments that people do not find ignorant that other people MAY find offensive but not offensive enough to comment on.
JHNNtube 4 days ago
@JHNNtube thank you for chiming in. explaining this over and over again is beyond exhausting.
chescaleigh 3 days ago
@chescaleigh I only can relate from my own experience. You are more than welcome. It's not meant to be a sensitive topic. It's just the majority of white people kind of are sensitive because they feel that black people always talk bad about white people. But at the same time not all black people are the same...especially ones like me who don't use slang. Thanks for this video again. I feel at least like I can relate
JHNNtube 3 days ago 2
@chescaleigh I can only relate from experience. Love this video =)
JHNNtube 3 days ago
@jawnytee she even went the extra mile by appearing on anderson cooper to talk about ways you can avoid saying things so it doesn't sound like all black people speak for another. That's a point you are failing to understand right now is that we are all speaking from personal experiences and the way it comes off is when you talk to black people seems like you are speaking as if ALL black people go through the same thing... eg. "do black people eat sushi." as opposed to "do you like sushi"
JHNNtube 4 days ago

JHNNtube 4 days ago
@JHNNtube the "we are all" is not meant as "we as black people" but more "everyone as an individual"
JHNNtube 4 days ago
It got nothing to do if you black, brown, white and more... Just if 1 black person does something wrong, it doesn't mean that EVERY black people are wrong.... or brown or white people ! Color is just a color, can't fricken people just understand that .
TheLinniMoe 4 days ago
thank heavens only white people are racist...this makes life so much easier when I travel to the Caribbean and all I hear is "hey white boy...fucking white boy...babylon..you took our land made us slaves..now you come here making us serve you drinks at this stupid white person resort that i am forced to work at"...now I know it is all in good fun and I am just getting what i deserve for being born..
jawnytee 4 days ago
@jawnytee once again...if you actually read her comments she's not a spokesperson for black people. These are her personal experiences she's gone through. She has done stand up comedy and all comedians say things that people are afraid to say for the purpose of making the punch more hilarious. When you talk in a way where you are assuming that all black people do the same thing...thats racist. Same for white people all acting the same when they aren't. It is just from her perspective.

randomchildable 4 days ago
It's funny because she is actually being incredibly racist towards white people.
xxMrJones777xx 4 days ago
@xxMrJones777xx what's "funny" is how many people don't understand what racism is. i'm not saying that white people are stupid, or less than anyone else. i'm not saying that white people don't deserve the same rights as anyone. i'm not oppressing anyone that's white. i'm not discriminating against anyone that's white. i'm simply repeating almost WORD FOR WORD things that white people have said to me. THAT IS NOT RACISM
chescaleigh 4 days ago
@chescaleigh Well than you need to hang around a different group of people, because those are things that DUMB white girls say. You act like all white people are like that, and it is highly offensive. Since when is stereotyping an entire race not racism?
xxMrJones777xx 4 days ago
@xxMrJones777xx this is a parody of "shit girls say" and "shit black girls say" it's a PARODY it's COMEDY. comedy regularly uses generalizations for the sake of the joke. it's understood that this isn't about every white person the same way "shit girls say" isn't about EVERY GIRL. so no, i'm not stereotyping all white people. finally, saying stupid things doesn't make you a bad person or even a stupid person. i know some really wonderful people who've said stupid things.
chescaleigh 4 days ago
@xxMrJones777xx also, this isn't just about "girls" (that's just the meme) it's about people. and not just people i've been friends with at one time or another, this includes people i've worked with and worked for. sheltered people are everywhere. should I quit working or leaving the house for fear of encountering someone who's going to touch my hair without my permission or saying something that offends me? no. instead, i choose to use humor to give people another perspective
chescaleigh 4 days ago
@xxMrJones777xx finally, when a friend, stranger, or co-worker says or does one of these things I explain to them why it's offensive and not ok. I don't just stop associating with them because that's not always an option and doesn't solve anything. people make mistakes, and just because they're guilty of saying something offensive at one time doesn't mean they are regularly saying racist things to me or that they're racist or bad people
chescaleigh 4 days ago
Black people need to wake up and learn to be human beings. They run around screaming like half evolved monkeys circling a banana tree and wonder why they don't get respect. They are the only ones keeping racism alive and keeping prosperity dead while others have to carry them on their back because blacks don't want to work for anything. They all feel they are owed everything just because their great grandparents had to pick some cotton. Yall grow up and stop destroying America. Thanks
speakintruth111 4 days ago
@speakintruth111 sooo according to you black people act like "half evolved monkeys" but they are the ones keeping racism alive? that makes sense! guess what? all black people are not alike and i'm not doing anything to "destroy America". there are people who act like idiots in all ethnic groups, but their actions do not represent everyone. the same way that your racist ignorant hate speech doesn't speak for all white people.
chescaleigh 4 days ago 24
@chescaleigh I agree completely. What a hypocrite.
naturesninja19 4 days ago in playlist Liked videos
@speakintruth111 blacks dont want to work for anything? countless times have a i known black families who cant get by on the 3 jobs everyone in the family is working. it is not close to their fault that blacks have been put into current situations, we as the white people have made some grave mistakes in the past, carving out a racist future that we now have to live in. Assuming that "they all" feel that they are owed something just shows your lack of knowledge. How about you grow up. thanks.
carwashinallthetime 4 days ago in playlist shit white girls say...to black girls
@speakintruth111 Wow. Do you even REALIZE how racist you just sounded? You just said "Black people don't want to work for anything." Way to stereotype. And they're the one's keeping racism alive? You're keeping racism alive with ignorant fucking comments. How hypocritical can you get? My God.
naturesninja19 4 days ago in playlist Liked videos
@speakintruth111 Dude, I'm white and find that offensive. Although this video is clearly inaccurate, and racist- there isn't any need to call them "monkeys" or insist that they are destroying America. You yourself are being ignorant and racist.
Malteseifyme 4 days ago
@Malteseifyme i appreciate you chiming in, but there's nothing racist about this video. it's about my personal experience with some white people. not all white people. and it's a parody of the meme "shit girls say" and "shit black girls say", hence the title.

Ionic35 4 days ago
there's something wrong with you. only wiggers say that stuff.
zombiekiller1213 4 days ago
@zombiekiller1213 do you realize how stupid you sound using the word "wigger"? as in white nigger? so someone who supposedly wants to be black is the only person guilty of saying ignorant things to black people? that doesn't even make sense. having black friends does not make you a "wigger". asking to touch someone's hair doesn't mean you want to be black. saying you don't date black guys doesn't mean you want to be black. seriously. your ignorance is mind blowing.

ablack2005 4 days ago
@chescaleigh exactly. It's your experience. But this is not how all white girls act as you have stated to me. I just wish you would put something in your summary regarding how it's based off your experience- because, honestly as a white female I find this super offensive and until you said anything I thought you were stereotyping. If the shoe was on the other foot, and I made a video regarding my experiences with African Americans- it would be racist.
Malteseifyme 4 days ago
@Malteseifyme if you read the video description box, there are links to numerous articles about the video and a link to my appearance on the Anderson Cooper talk show about this video. the difference between my video and a white person dressing up as a black person and doing the reverse is that for HUNDREDS of years we've been mocked by traditional media. the same is not true for someone that is white.
chescaleigh 4 days ago

MegaMoneymoney2 3 days ago
@MegaMoneymoney2 well i'm glad you enjoyed it. but the lesson isn't that "you'll get your ass kicked". not all black people respond with violence when they're offended....you should avoid saying the N word because it's offensive and inappropriate given it's history, and that can't be changed because you "don't mean it that way"
chescaleigh 3 days ago

fair enough. just so much garbage on youtube comments i figure it's like one person picking up litter to clean up the planet. almost a hopeless task, but more power to you. saw you on anderson cooper. i know you said you didn't wanna be a spokesperson for black ppl, but you should really consider it ;)
chefawkes 3 days ago
@chefawkes i have to say, that's a pretty accurate analogy. but picking up a piece of trash does make a difference, even if it's a small one. YT comments tend to be a waste land of illiterate teenagers and racist trolls and I don't see that changing anytime soon. But I've actually had some great conversations/discussions int he comments and made some unlikely but amazing friends over the course of some rather heated online debates.
chescaleigh 3 days ago
@chefawkes as for being a spokesperson, it's not a role I've sought out, but if my voice can open people's mind's then I'm for it. I'm willing to admit that I don't know everything or have all the answers, but I'm trying to learn as much as possible and am willing to share ideas with anyone that's respectful of my opinions and wants to work towards finding a way to talk about our differences in a respectful and intelligent way.
