I saw her today and she did an AMAZING job as Glinda!! She has a similar voice as Kristen and totally pulls off the cute and perkiness she's supposed to have, which many Glinda's don't seem to be able to pull off very well.

I saw her go on as Glinda last night with Marcie Dodd as Elphaba!! She was soooo funny and her toss toss is by far my favorite! She's so sweet and tiny in person!!! Loved her!

well they have hundreds audition and they take 12. its not that expensive, somewhere in the mid 30's. and this girl just landed the understudy for Glinda in the Nat'l Tour.

good voice but waaay to much vibrato on the first song. the acting was good but the vibrato was so heavy that I couldnt tell what pitch she was trying to sing.

I wouldn't have chosen a song made famous by Kristin Chenoweth to preform in my showcase. At this point she isn't able to showcase anything, she just ends up submitting herself to a comparison to Kristin Chenoweth. You can't win against broadway's most talented ingenue, just can't. This girl preforms beautifully! but I don't think it was a wise choice.

Actually it is a perfect choice. There are 4 productions of Wicked currently running in the US alone. Kristin Chenoweth can't play Glinda in every production (and she left the show awhile ago) so other actresses are now performing the role. Libby is showcasing the fact that she would be a great choice for one of those 4 productions.

idk... I do see where you are coming from. But, its like that song you shouldn't sing at an audition. You Never sing "somewhere over the rainbow" because you can't beat Judy Garland. So while there have been/will be many diff. Galindas, you want to be seen as an original rather than a look alike. But I'm just following standard audition procedure as I've been taught. I firmly belive that in the end, it is the preformer's preference. Its your audition, sing what you want to sing.
