Does anyone knows the name of this movie? It also involves dogs, and the main plot is about a dog whistle. The dog whistle, when used, attracts the attention of all the dogs in the surrounding area.

All I remember is when the two girls lock themselves inside one of the rooms in the barn, the kidnappers wanting to take them away, and one of the girls using the dog whistle to call all of the dogs to their rescue.

I like both movies. They are sure awesome, but what ticks me a bit off is that there isn't any evil dogs. Even in the sequel.

Sorry don't mean to be a biology nerd but, all of the wolves that were domesticated by humans were selected by their qualities and became modern day dogs. If these dogs from another planet were not domesticated then they would be wolves. Of course it's a children's movie and I'm probably the only one putting any thought into that lol

This movie was always a favorite of mine as a kid. They hide the little inappropriate things...like when Butch says "son of my mom" instead of "son of a bitch" so... the writers were pretty creative in keeping this clean. (:

I remember this, since i was young in 2001. I was wondering why the cats are evil, it's like people are mean making fun of cats and why not if there both good cats and dogs and the evil cats and dogs, I was dreaming if there should be some evil bulldogs in this movie, haha and I found out on Wikipedia and oh my gosh there's a sequel a second movie, wow! The first movie came out in 2001 and 10 years later the second movie came out that I didn't heard it on the commercial like on

I found out something interesting today , but if anyone has ever watched the Star Trek Prequel TV Series " Enterprise " , the Dog who plays Lou in this Film [ a FEMALE DOG to be precise , not a Male Dog , called Prada in real life ] , is the same Dog that played Captain Archer's Pet Dog Porthos .

I never knew this until i looked up Archers Dog and it just said that Prada played Lou in this Movie .

I loved this movie,still do ,the thing is though the second movie was alright(It was hilarious because it reminded me of my cats n stuff) but it wasn't as solid as the first,there was more human-dog-cat interaction in the first movie which I thought was slightly better,otherwise... I loved both movies!
