sorry to be annoying; but I have to say that so often in music, the saxophone although brilliantly and technically astounding as a phenomenom in it's own right ; often really pisses me off as do many boring guitar solos - then again they play from the heart so who am I to comment still - I think I may Have a point - Love Gong wish I could remix some of this with the original studio recordings and edit out the annoying bits of over-indulgence .. often in music LESS IS MORE ...peace Gongers. sry.
Classic and untouched! Amazing band, full of great musicians... Plus the beginning of the Holdsworth era in terms of influence in the world of electric guitar...
Great drumming that flows and feels natural.....not the chopped up time splitting machine gun kind of stuff that has taken over fusion these days. RIP Pierre...your drum star is shining brilliant. :} Off topic but Holdworth's tone on this one is facemelting...just the best.
I'd forgotten it was Mino Cinelu on this - fabulous persussion, Moze has a great fretless sound, Malherbe is having fun and Pierre is on fire....then there's Holdsworth!
YEAH the sax unbelievabale,so great unforgotten when iam dancing on it in the late 70ties-really one of the best in this kind of music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@mrprogjazzgto hey man, parallel universe - saw all those bands - Brand X 3 times, couldn't miss Percy Jones. Nice to have that whole era firmly under our belts huh! real precious. what a time. where's the documentary? peace. v

This is great. It's good knowing that Gong switched from their nonsense psychedlic pop and went towards jazz fusion like Soft Machine.
