hi there, you said you used a heavy hd cam. do you think this glider could handle a 1kg payload?

I'd like to try my hd cam and wide lens on a glider and wouldn't care too much if it had to be running on power all the time

also, what weight was your payload and any idea of powered flying time with payload

The motor is big enough. If you need more power you can go up to a 4 cell lipo.

So is it worth 300.00 dollars or is it an asmatic? Power system need an upgrade out of the box? How about servos and receiver? Purchased one plane from banana and wasnt very impressed. But this big girl is tempting me to go back for another try.

It came as an RTF, but I insatlled a AR7000 for my Spektrum DX7. The motor is poweful!

Confused? You only seem to be flying this constantly as a powered glider. Was there no lift anywhere with all those slopes? Were you carrying a heavy payload with the camera preventing you from gliding? Are you new to model gliders? You even seemed to land under power. I was hopiing to get mine next week but this one seems to fly like a brick.

The propeller did not fold back for some reason. The landing is done with crow settings and throttle OFF.

First flight ever. No thermal (0degrees c), no slop as the windspeed is 0m/s....foldingpropeller problems. The camera is a heavy HD camcorder.
