@tokman20 You generally need a Jazzmaster(dialed brightly) or a Jaguar(dialed not so brightly) to get it. The more percussive sound of the Offset tends to work well for it. Though as a trade off you don't get as much sustain, so I prefer the modern Classic Player Jazzmaster(which still sounds pretty surfy).
