@nejitenfan I think you may get a wanted level if you hang around in the vicinity after it has gone off - but if you make yourself scarce they will not be able to trace it back to you.

I like this way MUUCCHH better than waiting for both cars to be close so that I can try to take a shot at BOTH of them with the launcher.

@LemitriDawkins The other advanatge of this way is that nothing can go wrong - it doesn't matter if Ray drives off - he can't escape with the bomb already attached to his car.

@phantomkid123 You need to do activities with Packie (drinking works best) until your like stat with him is 75%+. He'll then call you to say he can supply you with bombs.

How do I get the carbomb? I got to 75% friendship status with Packie. But I didn't get a call or a text from him. The option to get a car bomb from him doesn't come up when I select his name. This is on ps3 if it matters.

Hmmm, not sure, 75% like stat should be enough.

Are you in the middle of the kidnapping mission? Packie may become unavailable for that period. He should call by the way, not text. Trying calling him to arrange a social activity, if he doesn't pick up, then do more McReary family missions.

On a related note, the conversation with Packie during "Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend" changes depending on whether you have already completed "Pest Control"

@jimiboy97 I did try following Ray but not attacking to see what happens. At BOABO his car will pull into a garage and the door will shut, at which point you will fail the mission. You have to kill him before he gets there.

@metal27a I figured it out a while ago. You are supposed to get it to atleast 75%. You just have to wait about 24 hrs in game time and he calls you.

cool tip, never thought of that, if i wanted to do it fast i would have just detonated as soon as they got in the car since the carbomb was close to both cars at once

why dont just detonate the bomb when ray is in the fuel station???

@Jabbl1 You could do, there are multiple different ways to do it. Detonating it at the fuel station will not guarantee however catching the second car with his bodyguards in the explosion as well, and you need to finish them all off to finish the mission. I therefore take the second car out first, knowing that Ray's car will then flee, but that only a phone call is needed to stop them.
