hey guys i used to play wow like a year or two ago. but i was jsut wondering if i buy this will i have to pay monthly again? it seems like a cool game. i like something new.
i like the whole Keep Siege scenario as well, its so fun to swarm through an enemy forts gates and slaughter them inside, ive even watched foes jump off the walls and kill themselves...
you know guys why warhammer is pvp focused because the people who made it know that pvp is the best thing in mmo i mean sure do pve and be happy and finish the game that is it nothing more but warhammer always gives you somthing to do and warhammer's patch download arent just for nohting like wow's the compleltey change the game.
actually, many things are coppied form war, for example war released xp in bgs first, sieging and siege weapons, achievements, thos are jus the ones off the top of my head
but the MMO of wow has been around wayy longer then the MMO of warhammer, and the RTS of warcraft has been around way longer then the RTS of warhammer, who copied who?

Theres a RTS called Shadow of the horned rat that dates 1995, Warcraft 1 came out same year. And when it comes to MMO's WoW has copied alot of other games that predates WoW by several years.

one thing that sucks about WAR is the fact that RVR is rock paper scissors...one class can kill another class but not any others so its like you can kill a certain set of classes or one class but every other class will kill you...and if you don't believe me look on the WAR forums...WAR developers said it themselfs

I'd actually hold off on buying it. I reactivated my account months ago and regretted it. It's just not a good enough MMO. If you enjoy action RPG's I suggest you buy Borderlands, Dragon Age: Origins or look into another game.

I am the opposite, when I started playing I went straight to RvR and never tried out any other servers. I have been back and forth with my Shaman, I was going Mork but then I decided it would be funnier if I was killing people with my tiny goofy ass Goblin. So I changed everything to Gork and went on a killing spree for a couple of months.
I just switched back to Mork and redid my gear to help heal again as DC Dest needs healers. To make up for that though I just rolled a Sorcerer.
Amen, War has the best PvP right now hands down. Takes all the frustration of grinding out of the game. If you don't want to do a quest you never have to and can still gain exp at a great rate just by PvPing.
Enless u do Open RVR if u do Open Rvr lvls Change scenarios are same tier 1 lvl 1 to 11 and tier 2 lvl 11-21 and blah blah but the cool thing about Open RVR servers are that u can go down a tier for open RVR so if ur lvl 40 u can drop down to tier 3 lvl range 21-31 and just own take keeps and other stuff same with all level tiers!
secondly, war is broken and the subscriber base has fallen steadily since release. mythic insists on coming out with new content instead of fixing the current content that is broken...i started out playing with about 15 friends and i am the only one left...at least until my account expires next month.

warhammer is way better, but do note that it is a new game and will have its flaws. there is some lag and other minor problems. but as this video states you can lvl by only doing pvp or rvr if you wanted, wow doesnt do that. however, wow has a little better pve, far as instances and things go. but then again WAR is new, and there is no1 saying that they wont add lots of instances later. (there are already some instances in WAR so its not like there is none)

it started with lots of servers in europe, now there is 4 or 5 servers left, it is not the kiddies who are whining. check the new events from site, they are going to give griphons to players who brings 6 more player to game. War is dying denying it, is not going to cure the problems of game.

Blizzard is a really good game maker, but WAR as both Mythic experience as the better PvP system ever, with DAoC, one of the first true 3D MMO, and EA huge experience in any kind of game, so Blizzard is ridiculous with only 3 games, two RTS and one Hack'n'slash. WoW as success not because it is a really good game, but because it's easy, and hilarious, sooo good for ten years old newbies...

For all those who say WoW is better and WAR is unbalanced get off the drugs. I play all types of characters on WAR and beta tested both WoW and WAR. The game of WAR is so balanced that ive seen different specs of a toon pwn one and get pwnd by others. A damage dealing SM got pwned by a damage dealing BO but when I (a defensive SM) went toe to toe with the damage dealing BO I ate him alive. AND the quests are fun and give hella xp too in PvE.
im a lvl 5 black orc, i have a 25 squig herder, but anyways back to the orc....i just wanna say, if u want a good laugh, have two healers healing u while u fight 4 to 5 players, its funny to see the trouble they have takin u down....
Eventually every MMO gets repetitive. I ve played Warhammer and WoW and have had periods of inactivity due to tiredness with both. As far which game i enjoyed the most, Warhammer due to their much better rvr(pvp) focus. Public Quests r great to gear u up for ORVR which is just amazing. As far as WoW goes, im done wit it because I hate raiding, I hate the community(there really is NO difference between ally and horde cause of fuckin belfs) and finally its pvp sucks compared to WAR.
Sorry, but i hated war. I got to 34 on my chosen just to realize that while questing ive repeated the same 3-4 quests over and over and over and over again..Kill this, grab that, talk to him, KILL THE NAMED!!! stfu. Then i go to do a scenario and i get Roflpowned by 5 bright wizards =).
Personally i feel WoW has its ups, and warhammmer is a long way from beating it. I guess if u like rvr war is alright...but still everything is very unbalanced and can get frustrating. Have fun WARers =/

kk, back on topic. Spam scenarios, repeat scenario quests, and grind influence points while you wait = quickest way to level up and get good gear at the same time.
it's buggy, but it hasn't been anything i couldn't handle, for instance the timing of the animation and actual cast of a squishy class isn't always in sync. and in pve, some range mobs look like they've ran up to you to attack when they're really still standing in the same spot as before...there are some minor little things, but either than that...if gamers were able to handle bugs and class imbalances in wow that some took a couple years to fix...they shouldn't have a problem here.
i wasnt planing on getting WAR cus i played beta a year ago (it sucked hard) but your videos really show a more polished war, i might try it out again. Great videos!
well kinda lol. i tried both black orc and IB. Black orc seems to dish out more dmg as they are a more attack orientated tank compared to the IB. But IB is better at protecting teammates a.k.a oathfriend But both are hella fun.

Sorry, but i hated war. I got to 34 on my chosen just to realize that while questing ive repeated the same 3-4 quests over and over and over and over again..Kill this, grab that, talk to him, KILL THE NAMED!!! stfu. Then i go to do a scenario and i get Roflpowned by 5 bright wizards =).
Personally i feel WoW has its ups, and warhammmer is a long way from beating it. I guess if u like rvr war is alright...but still everything is very unbalanced and can get frustrating. Have fun WARers =/

hahaha u got it mixed dood, wow is unbalanced as shit, instead of doin little tweeks to balance things out(like warhammer does), wow decides to change every good thing about a class and make it 100% times better or worsing, leavin some classes nerfed and others op'd....

I bought this game last week, rolled a Witch Hunter. I hated it. This game was so weak...
...I'm level 20 now and I can't stop playing it. I refuse to pvp on wow. RvR is so much better than PvP. My opinion has changed since then. I love Warhammer.
However, the PvE content is way better in WoW.

let me just say this this game is fu yes....here it is rdy? no? well am going to tell you anyways it's all fucking wrong all of it the classes are all inbalanced destro seems to the makers fav and soo ubered them all up and totally fucked order.Other than that yeah it's fun but too many kids go to destro and not enough on the orders side.

Teir 3 Scenario quests gives 3k+- each quest there are 2 or 3 i dont really Remember rerolled :P... anway it is much faster than questing if your on a popular server : /

dude this game has my vote because i love to do PVP and i hated WoW because all you get is honor points, and mabey 32 copper for killing a guy. I know SOMEONE will comment this saying, "you noob," or some other shit, but thats ok because i dont play and i really dont give a shit. But all in all, this game is the shits

kk, back on topic. Spam scenarios, repeat scenario quests, and grind influence points while you wait = quickest way to level up and get good gear at the same time.

WAR is really buggy right now so it might scare a lotta ppl, but it's very fun for when everything is working right and you're not lagging.

it's buggy, but it hasn't been anything i couldn't handle, for instance the timing of the animation and actual cast of a squishy class isn't always in sync. and in pve, some range mobs look like they've ran up to you to attack when they're really still standing in the same spot as before...there are some minor little things, but either than that...if gamers were able to handle bugs and class imbalances in wow that some took a couple years to fix...they shouldn't have a problem here.

well kinda lol. i tried both black orc and IB. Black orc seems to dish out more dmg as they are a more attack orientated tank compared to the IB. But IB is better at protecting teammates a.k.a oathfriend But both are hella fun.
