  • They sell them in stores people! I saw boxes with the ball and the workout at a sporting goods store. If you buy it there who's to say your getting stuff that you didn't pay for, cmon!

  • I agree, I dont see how they can scam you with other things you didnt agree to. Maybe this is a last ditch effort to get rid of this product once and for all. When I made this video I had only gotten a say 4 out of 10 ripoff. Others if you believe the comments got ripped at closer to a 10. Now almost 53,000 have watched this and few rave about it. Even in a box at a store, I still wouldnt spend over $5 for this pool ball. Thanks for the info.

  • ordering online is soo mcuh easier and i love my bender ball

  • ordering online was so easy and i love my bender ball

  • I had to report them to BBB because they also ripped me off. Thanks for warning others.

  • I had to report this company to BBB because they also ripped me off. Thanks for warning others.

  • I agree - the marketing practices suck. when i confronted them they refunded my money and let me keep the ball. I actually think it works great, but saw some similar in Dollar General.

  • Wow, a refund, unheard of so far. Congrats on that. I thought cancelling one's card was the only hope from the stories left here. Almost starting year three of this scam, IcReDiBlE!!!

  • ..the card and then call back with 24-48 hours in order to cancel the continuation...she sounded like an indian robot and I didn't feel safe with it...I will never authorize ANYONE to go into my checking account and withdraw money at their discretion..so I had already decided not to order it but your video made a world of difference...in fact I did use one of my daughters rubber balls and although I wasn't as stable as I'd like to be...it probably achieved the same job

  • First I heard of someone seeing fine print, good job! It was Aug 07 I think they ripped me but nothing compared to the stories that have come in. Can you believe they are in business and from my hits Insight (demographics), it is World Wide, not just US. Ouch!

    W@S4T

  • I was SOOO going to order this product....from the first time I ever saw it I wanted it because it looked so convincing..especially given the fact that they were promoting flexion and extension...when I got to the screen to order it I noticed that they had (in small letters) that they were going to be sending items that I didn't order and charging my card....I was immediately alarmed and I called the number...kept pressing zero til I got a live person...she told me that I would have to charge

  • When i placed an order in the website .. iand just took the order without any confirmation from me.. They automatically enrolled me in some continuation program and sent me some advanced training kits and took around 96$ from my credit card. i had sent the package to them back paying around 15 bugs for shipping, still no refund yet.. the ball sure reduces our purse fat :(

  • Wow, one of the worst Rips yet. Finally over 50,000 hits here and yet they are coming up on almost two years of this business plan, amazing. Good luck and thanks for the comment.

    W@S4T

  • is the number to cancelling the order the same as the customer service #?? i just saw this after i ordered it. ughz! they haven't processed it so hopefully i can cancel it just in time to avoid this headache and the problems i'm hearing from everyone. i'm such a sucker for these things. my husbands going to be pissed!!!

  • The # may be the same but my dated experience was they didnt answer anyway. I am sorry, sales people can somehow sleep at night scheming and scamming folks for years. A shame!

  • okay i called them and told them to cancel it so i'm just going to call tomorrow to make sure that they really really did. =) thanks a lot for this video.

  • it's just a bouncy ball that you can play volley ball with....i doubt it works

  • Thank you for posting this, and for your honesty. We (as humans and consumers) really need to look out for each other, don't we? Thanks again.

  • We talked about this, note this comment, "it starts out ups...and is only ups for one day then switches to regular mail". This complicates discussing pricing. This profiting on shipping only is common on eBay now and SH is often more, even double the cost of items.

  • um lol i just ordered it before watching this video, i frankly dont care if its worth it i mean its only 20 bucks and i cant lift myself off the floor to do crunches alone so i need some support, my only problem is how can i stop them from sending me extra stuff after i get my bender ball? i really dont want to get charged extra and when i ordered i made sure to say no thanks to everything but idk im worried

  • Cancel UR credit card quick just to be safe if not too inconvenient. Otherwise others got ripped worse than I did. Good Luck.

    W@S4T

  • i actually decided id rather not get it at all, and since it wont ship for 2-4weeks that means it wont process for 2-4weeks so i guess my best bet is just send them an email right?

  • Emails have be ineffective for most and for me. Even calls didnt help. I would cancel your credit card, tell then you lost it, so no unwanted charges show up. Just my opinion, good luck.

    W

  • um well canceling my credit card is too problematic...it would look bad too...but seriously how can a company have commercials if theyre obviously a scam? why arent they getting sewed

  • It's a business model that works since many dont go thru trouble to read fine print, return things that only $20+postage is marked up etc. Add it all up & Bender been doing this over a 1&1/2 years, has hundreds of BBB complaints yet still thrives. It doesnt look bad to cancel a card, say it's lost 1 time & ask for new one later. It is your money, I just can say I warned you. Read thru120 comments, many ripped 4 way more than $20 w/ monthly charges they didnt approve. Check it out below.

    W

  • it sstarts out ups...and is only ups for one day then switches to regular mail....my boyfriend got me one and it took 3 weeks and he tracked it and noticed that

  • I noticed that too and not just from this offer. I asked a CS rep about it and it is a practice more and more companies are using now. Why I can only guess.

  • Small World Toys makes an equivalent product for lower cost and no headache in ordering... the "Gertie Ball" .. research it.

  • Thanks, great information. Can you believe people still buy this thing?

  • I also got scammed by the bull crap ball. But it wasn't an automated service calling me, it was just the continous sending of DVD's I didn't purchase and vitamins by the hundreds. Later when I got my statement and saw the outstanding charges I went and found the forms from the shipments and in tiny tiny white print on a black piece of paper was a 1-800 number with the options to cancel. I don't know why I didn't just go to walmart. Plus, it's way to hard to blow up.

  • Yeah that is a scam!

The "Gertie Ball" kids ball made by Small World Toys is the EXACT same thing! I got my online on their website for like 6 bucks. I was also worried that it wouldn't hold my weight but it is just fine. Bender is a total scam.

  • Thanks

  • I was on the phone ordering the Bender Ball when I came across your video and I immediantly hung up before giving my credit card. Thanks so much for sparing me!

  • i wish i had these this video earlier haha i bought the bender ball and ALL of this is true.. the call took FOREVER but thankfully i declined everything but the total was still like 22 dollars :S it says 9.99 on tv! and yes it's just a plain stupid ball, to be fair though it does give a better work out than normal situps.. not an over 20 dollar workout though

  • thaks for the info.I appreciate your concern.

  • I disagree since it comes deflated, takes two weeks and is in a box the size of a Bible and weighs nearly nothing. I shipped a digital camera half way across the US by USPS for $5 and change.

  • Thanks for the heads up, I saw the ad and thought "sounds interesting." On only a bit of a side tangent, what about using one of those "wallballs" from grade school? They are about the same size and if I remember were tough as nails.

  • Thank you very much for taking the time to warn other people about this product, and this company. It is nice to know that there are still people like you out there, that care.

  • You are welcome. I get lots of nasty remarks here that I can delete. Nice to get a thanks now and then.

  • Thanks for the heads up. I got part way through their automated phone b.s. and felt seriously suspicious. I won't be ordering one.

  • it doesn't matter if they rip you off. The thing that matters is whether or not the ball helps the intensity.

  • OK, you can buy mine back for $100. Send me a note and I will give you ordering info. I dont think many people are willing to take RIPOFF out of their dictionaries but feel free.

    D@S4T

  • Thank you!! You saved me money.

  • You can get that same type ball at walmart, question is does it work and from what I've read it really does a good job at giving you a good range of motion to give you a good ab workout.

  • I have searched at Walmart for a small ball like the bender ball and I cannot find one. What is it called at Walmart? What are the measurements?

  • Tried a superWalmart? it is roughly 9" diameter, little bigger than soccer ball I think. I rewatched the Bender DVD and though their $15 ball is a little more rubbery, there is nothing in their video that you can not do with a regular walmart or public pool type ball. If you fail just order one but watch your credit card bills. Read comments from victims below and you will see why.

  • I've seen the Bender Ball at Walmart. It's where the as seen on tv items. In my Walmart it was up by the check out. It sells for $19.95 I think(?)

  • I sent you a message on this. Stores may sell the actual Bender Ball now for $15, $20. What I meant was a simple ball for in the pool, $3, it is basically the same thing.

  • As seen items almost always are the same price as the TV ads. I think you were seeing something else. It should be $10 or $15, I forget not and in stores no shipping but sometimes the sales tax is as much.

    W

  • thanks, glad to help. Mostly this vid does others some good. Maybe 5% actually liked this ripoff ball. At least you saved having to monitor your credit card bill for months. Good day.

    S4T

    W

  • thanks man, you sound like a really nice guy. definitely saved me a couple bucks :D, in fact, im going to subscribe

  • WAH!!!

  • I got the ball for the 9$ + the extra fee to get a DVD instead of a stupid VHS Tape. I felt okay about spending the money. But then the real trouble started, they sent me two DVD's weeks later and auto charged my credit card I used to order from them. They wound up charging me somewhere around 40$ for crap I did not want or ordered or agreed to. BIG SCAM - CHEAP BALL - UNETHICAL Company. STAY AWAY FROM THEM or they will get your cash.

  • They still sent it to me so today I tried to call their customer service line but it don't connect and just gives me a busy signal. The note that comes with the dvd's says that if I'm not satisfied I can send it back but I have to pay shipping! I'm contacting my credit card company to alert them to fraud. Do not order this ball it is just like this video describes it.

  • Unfortunately I didn't do research before I bought my ball. I ordered it online but it is still a scam! I got my ball and the dvd about a month ago. Today I received a package for their automatic shipment.I to was asked several times online if I wanted to be enrolled and each time I said no!

  • You're the man! I've been thinking for the last 3 days about getting this ball. I went online today and looked at the website and just looking at it made me feel like it was one of those "spam" sites so I said eh let me do some more research. I saw your video and I'm so glad I went with my instincts my deflated soccer ball is looking pretty good right about now.

  • Thanks so much for letting the rest of us in on this multi-scam. Sorry you had to get ripped off, but appreciate the heads up. Will be looking for your comments/reviews on other items you happen to purchase.

  • Thank you Very much , all of us should do this when we see something not right like this .

  • Good looking out. I will not buy this. I guess I'm better off buying a 5 dollar one off amazon, at I feel safe with them when it comes to being fair, legit and my money.

  • I wish i would have researched this stupid ball before i bought it. I have been charged 4 times after buying this damn ball for shit i never ordered. When i called back the lady told me that i had been signed up for their membership which i NEVER signed up for and i cancelled this so called membership and just so happens that they never cancelled my order so i am still getting charged. called them again and they wont give me my money back because they said it was over 30 days.

  • Thanks for the heads up- you saved me a few bucks!

  • thanks for the information!! I was going to buy it on online, then i saw your video..thanks

  • You rock. I love this informative video. That ball is a POS. Man, I am going to see if you have a review for anything I plan to buy.

  • All that money for a cheap ball like that! Wow what a downer. I'm glad I saw your video. I was going to talk to my husband about purchasing this ball. Guess I won't be doing that. Thanks.

  • Informative video. I wish my friend had seen this prior to purchasing the immense amount of crap the Bender Ball scam sent her. I have always used a soccer ball myself (just do not inflate it all the way). A soccer ball will support more weight and is far more durable.

  • Thanks a ton I was just going to buy it on line!! thank you !!! Iam going to Toys R US to get a ball..

  • Thanks for the warning, Dave. Last night I was about to buy that dumb ball. I'm so glad I decided to check out You Tube to find some information about it. I'm better off in going to Walmart or kmart and buying a ball similar to it for about three bucks. Thanks again, buddy.

  • hi there. i bought a bender ball a few months ago. a month later i recieved a couple videos i didnt order and they were charged to my credit card. i called bender ball services and said if i sent it back right away they would refund my card and take me off of the program that kept sending me stuff (even though i had no idea i signed up for this program). anyways, they are still charging me even after i sent it in right away! dont buy it!!!!!

  • Thank you so much. I was going to buy it on online and I saw your picture and appealing title. I am not going to buy it. I will try the beach ball as you have said. Thanks for your time to make this informative video.

  • we use them at school in weight lifting and i like them

  • Great, but the point is the company is ripping people off multiple ways, not just an overpriced pool ball. If you want to blow that kind of money and monitor your credit card for months, all for a beach ball, send me the money instead. Read the comments below, 95% unhappy people, D-+? BBB rating, 800 complaints, monthly charges to credit cards for things not asked for, yada yada yada. Why not just buy a Publix or Walmart ball? Thanks for point of view.

    S4T

  • Thanks Dave, The video is a life saver. It sucks that people out there will do this sort of thing for money. Well I am going to load up my daughter in the car and go to walmart and get a small rubber ball and use that.

  • PubliX had some not so rubbery ones for $1.29 yesterday in a huge bin. Walmart, KMart, go for it. Thanks for the note.

    WS

    S4T

  • wow that sux.

  • This is how I do my purchases now if I see an informercial. I run to ebay and amazon first and search and guess what the product is there. Saved alot of money and headaches get it used or new. right now I see buy now for $24.99sh $3.50. I had been doing it this way for years. I don't have patience to all those questions they lose my sale immediately. lol I bought similar ball at Walmart with a dvd from walmart I think under $20. I hope I helped like you to stay away from thos guys.

  • I am a personal trainer at a health club...and the ball is actually great for what it's meant for. They can support up to 250lbs. BY NO MEANS should you pay what the "Bender Ball" costs...it's an overhyped brand name. Avoid their scam. There are plenty of generic alternatives...go with one of them. This "simple rubber ball" works much better than these bulky ab lounge contraptions.

  • I would avoid using it/clones of it, with anyone with back problems. If you dont have any lateral control you could hurt yourself badly leying on this small ball. Athletes and gym regulars go for it but I get plenty of ab workouts with the original $30 (was $75 when I got it) ab cruncher that looks like two boomaranges on each side and a grip bar overhead. Easier to cheat but I altered mine to match my body better and maybe no BURN but keeps the waist slimmer.

  • The Website says that they are going to send additional DVDs automatically, unless you cancel beforehand -- you have to be careful and read all the info on the order page.

  • The Website says that they are going to send additional DVDs automatically, unless you cancel beforehand -- you have to be careful and read all the info on the order page.

  • Part 2 - EXCEPT that online you automatically get additional stuff every month, UNLESS you specifically call and cancel the additional stuff! So, you have to watch carefully and call to cancel after your initail order is filled. Thanks again.

  • Part 1 - I did get scammed once by Billy Blanks' Tae Bo order and you definitely have to be careful as to additional products beyond what you only wanted to buy. Online the price is $20.91 (which includes the $7.93 shipping (at that price it should arrive in 3 days, but obviously it doesn't!)). So for $21 you get the ball and a manual and 2 videos (you missed out on those).

  • PART 1 - Thanks for the video. My daughter actually ordered this and I got to use it on vacation and thought that it worked very well -- I used it in bed (in our tiny motel room). Anyway I was going to order my own because I liked it so.

  • Oh they got me good! I sent mine back to the company the day after it arrived. It wouldn't hold air. I told them I wanted a refund and I told them NOT to send me anything else and to keep their hands out of my bank account. They said they would refund all but the shipping and they wouldn't send anything else. Guess what??? they lied. They took another $19.99 out of my bank account and I called again. They made the same promises today. This time, I threatened to call an attorney.

  • Thanks for the heads up. I was watching the commercial one night and was tempted to go online and purchase the product. That is one cheap-looking ball that one might find in a market. But thanks to you, I am better off saving my money.

  • Thanks for posting this. It was a great warn-off of this product.

I'm home sick today and so have had the TV on for a while. There was a commercial for the Bender Ball and one for "Crunchless Abs". They both have the same set up y'all have described: at the point where you're ready to check out, the fine print mentions that they're signing you up for a +/- $25/month subscription to more stuff. There doesn't appear to be a way to just order the product.

    Thanks again for the info.

  • Wow! I was just on their website... had my address and credit card information all typed in and ready to go... thank God I read the small print. When you click SUBMIT you're signing up for a subscription that amounts to 27 dollars a month!!! After I cancelled my order I saw this posting... I understand some people ask why would people even spend money for a rubber ball-but when you really want to get in shape you'll believe almost anything. Thank you for posting the truth!!!

  • Thank you. Finally someone saw this B4 they pressed Accept. First I heard this part of their scam. From below,...

"They have a D rating and over 600 complaints"

    Good Day

  • I wish I saw this before I ordered my pos ball. They added 14 bucks rush delivery ON TOP of the standard 7 bucks shipping fee.

  • I also seem to get watched AFTER the rippoff occurs, the opposite of my intent. Spread the word. Wow that is high S & H !!!

    S4T

  • Amen, thanks. I bet there are at least 10X that many unhappy people who just give up and hence, 'profit for complacency' is the new business model. If they can do this with a RUBBER BALL, lord knows anyone can rip us off. Keep rebelling.

    S4T

  • I've read that the website also tries to get you to buy other products. They don't reveal the DVD subscription you will be enrolled in until the shopping cart portion of your order, in small print next to the stuff nobody reads by that point in a transaction. The best recourse is to file a report (online) with the BBB. They have a D rating and over 600 complaints on the BBB, imagine if everyone reported...

Thanks for helping me avoid this product.

  • Thank you for posting this. I only wish I had seen it BEFORE I ordered this piece of junk. I ordered it yesterday. I can't believe I fell for it - it's just a dumb BALL!! I ordered it for my husband, who wants to work on his abs. I haven't yet received a confirming e-mail. I wish I could cancel the order, but I doubt that I can.

Good luck to everybody who has been scammed by this company.

  • I can't believe I did either. The producer of that show did a great scam job. I rarely buy infomercial stuff & going back 15 years have maybe ten items that were actually good and I still have, from kitchen french fry maker to vise that will hold a Whole DOOR! Why did I want this thing, I just dont get it. Many have posted comments here just calling me an idiot, hence the Approval option, but they are close to being right. Good luck.

    S4T

  • I was also scammed by the bender ball and they won't stop using my credit card for unauthorized charges once I placed my initial order. I tried to post this warning on their 'official' videos on YouTube, but all their comments are pending approval. They won't allow the truth to come out. Do not be suckered into this scam. You will be sorry if you do.

  • Well you are approved here. It will be a year I think in August and they are still scamming folks, :(. Nice to get a Real comment for a change. Some get on here and just say things like "you're an Idiot" and contribute nothing. This was my first and most highly viewed video so I am having some effect. Thanks for your comments.

    D

  • Thanks for exposing these hucksters.

  • call them

    leslee bender

    1-866-695-5089

  • ????????????

  • Leslee Bender is the name of the person who is selling the ball. the number is her studios number. I should have said, if you have a problem, call them.

  • Thanks, I thought maybe but does anyone have any success calling this #? Previous comments had problems so thanks, maybe this will help them. I cant believe they are STILL scamming late nite viewers!

    W

  • These people are scam artists and deserve to be exposed.

  • Thanks if I didnt already say that.

    W

  • don't buy the ball. they will keep charging your account for things you didnt order

  • ? I dont get this,... here you say dont buy then you give phone number of Leslee Bender?, who is that?

    W

  • Wow! thanks for the heads up. I just started to check it out and your video came up from google. It looks cheap as hell... I might be better off with a childrens "dodge ball." Thanks again!

  • Yep, cheap! They are a little different from beach balls in that more rubbery but when fully inflated as reqd not significant difference to warrant big $.

    Good day.

  • I went through that... I spent like half an hour on the phone and declined all the extra stuff (I agree it was ridiculous) so I hope everything worked out. I called to see what my total was and it was about 20 dollars (for the ball and the DVD). It's also taking a long time to get here.

  • Good luck, it comes in a box the size of like a big Bible or there abouts. $7.95 S&H is ridiculous for how long it takes.

    W

  • Hey Winsleuth,

Did you catch the part where you get two more videos in 30 days for 19.99 each?

I went to the website, instead of calling them and read the fine print on the check out page. I notice I seem to have more control buying from the websites of things like this, because there is no sales people persisting to keep me on the phone. Sorry for your experience.

  • Thank you very much for the heads up! I almost bought it.

  • I called them but ended up hanging up because I thought it was very confusing. That's when I decided to look on line for some info and found this video. Thanks for posting it!!!

  • Omg! I went through this! I called to order and they keep trying to sell me stuff. They say if you want to pick yes press 1 but wait like 10 seconds to tell you what button to press to say no lol

  • Great input. Some others made it sound like they had changed or fine tuned their methods and after all these months thougth possible. I guess not, still ambiguos, they must hirer English majors. At least you can laugh about it. Watch you credit card for monthly charges, that is the most common complaint here. Good luck.

    W

  • Thanks for posting this review I had a feeling it was a scam several infomercials are scams now these days.

  • I said earlier that,...

"I finally priced balls at Walmart and Walgreens that are essentially the same thing and they were $3.37 and about $2.00 respectively." I was back at WG I think yesterday and now $1.35 for a reasonable eqvuivalent ball. Scams are everywhere, the business model for making money on a nothing product is perfected. High S&H, lies about returns, tricky language, overpricing, single box for each item, any of us could be rich if we could pull on the dishonesty part.

    W

  • Good I saw this. I am in the market in buying a a new ball cause my old one busted on me. I am saving my money and not buying this one.

  • i wish i had seen this earlier but i order it 2 nites ago and i found it weird how they didnt give a total at the end of the very long call so today i called and cancelled the order and i hope that they didnt charge me b/c the lady with the hard to understand accent said that it was not shipped!

  • U may have caught it on time but Watch your Credit card the next several months. Good to get this note from you since I know now it seems, they havent altered their automated phone method of taking orders. They get rich just on counting on so many not bothering to even return their pool ball. Hope you dont get charged.

    W

  • i keep reading reviews, and i really appreciate that you posted this.. i hear of people having to cancel their credit card!

  • I really had it easy in the end compared to the stories left here. What a scam, hope I spared you. Good luck with those abs!

    D

  • Thank you for posting thi.

  • You are most welcome, Thanks for the note.

    D

  • i got a pilates ball, same thing for six bucks its nothing new you can find it anywhere.

  • Excellent, I was a fool to buy this. I finally priced balls at Walmart and Walgreens that are essentially the same thing and they were $3.37 and about $2.00 respectively. No S&H. If you just have some upfront $, connections and no conscience I think anyone like that can get rich, QUICK!

Most people have respectable Abs, but if they are covered with an inch of fat as in my case, no one turns their heads. Best of Luck!

    W

  • DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP!! They will continue to bill you month after month. When you call to complain, all you get is some middle eastern rep that you can barely understand. If you already ordered, do yourself a favor and print "Return To Shipper" on the package and contact your credit card company ASAP!!

  • Keep an eye on your mail box for things you didnt think you said yes to. That is the second or third part of this scam. Out of 12000 views, only 6 people have had good things to say about the pool ball. Hope you continue to like it.

    Dave

  • i bought it too...it also took a looong time to ship. i bought it online, i was asked all those same questions about the 2nd ball for a friend and other stuff but i said no to everything. well...it took me a while to start working with it, and i started yesterday for about 5 minutes...i tried doing it today but my abs hurt like hell...so i guess it does work, maybe it'll hurt less tomorrow.

  • Dave

Thanks so much for posting your review!

For the last week I've been going crazy contemplating if I should buy it or not, but after watching this video I think I'm better off getting my ass to the local gym!!

    Thanks again!

    Faby

  • Great! I have gone back to my original tube made ab cruncher, $30 at Target. Lay on back and head sits in rest, arms up and you crunch. Trying not to use arms to help is hard part and mine fall to sleep, poor circulation. Good Luck.

    Dave

  • dont buy the bender ball!!!! they charge you every month after you buy it!!! 26.98

  • actually, when you order it, they tell you that they will add u to thier special plan to get more things every other month for a 19.95 fee or something. I orderd it. i also worked at Beach Body. you just have to read it.

  • I made this video quite a long time ago. I am guessing with all the complaints they fine tuned their automated voice mail system. You just have to trust me, it used to be deceptive and others have confirmed this from back then. It literally took my what I said, some 30 minutes to press keys to confirm or reject all the offers they hit me with. Thanks for your comments. Dont forget Earth Day tmrw.

    Dave

  • OH i belive you. I just orderd mine the other day . However, I will beware of any funny stuff and let you know :)

  • Thanks, only way to know is doing a re-order and I certainly am not going to do that. Even if they cleaned up their order process the predominant opinion here has been this is a rip off scam and junky overpriced beach ball.

    D

  • um, lemme just take a wild guess.. You didn't like the product? LOL. I am going to try it. My back hurts when i do situps and that huge ball thing is too big. I am short and i always fall off it. I am not a big girl i just need some help with the tummy.

  • Thanks so much for the warning. This video stopped me in mid-dial! Keep up the great work! Great idea to make videos about consumer warnings.

  • I got one on TMobile's website service that will amaze some. Been lazy lately but will get it out within a week. Enjoy and i hope you contribute sometime.

  • damn i totally got scammed.... =( the funny thing is after i had placed my order via phone (very long process!) a few days later the informercial came on the tv and my little 11 year old sis goes what a scam, whoever orders that is stupid.... hmmm... why didn't i see it that way, now i have 2 stupid balls and i've been charged 45 dollars...

  • Yep, I know the feeling. A few have all but said I was an idiot for falling for this. Must of been the hot chics with balls in their hands that got me, who knows. I own about ten Made for TV items and they have all been worthwhile and still have most, until now.

    Dave

    $45, ouch!!!

  • DEF agree. I ordered mine a couple months ago and those terds enrolled me into their dvd continuity program without my consent. I also receive all these stupid telemarketing calls! GRR!

  • What a coincidence to find your video! I was just on their site and was going to order the ball and 2 DVDs which were supposed to be $9.99 plus S/H but it was coming out to more than that and I couldn't figure out what the other charges were for. So, I thought if I could find the video online I would just buy a ball at Target. You need to post their videos! That would get them. Do it!

  • Glad to help. What do you mean by,...

" You need to post their videos! That would get them. Do it! "???

    Ws

  • Download/post their exercise videos that came with the ball! Then, no one would need to buy them! Everyone can go to their local discount retailer, pick up a playground ball-even with their favorite cartoon character on it-and watch the videos on You tube!

  • OK, I could use the Internet Vids, then no copyright issues. I have their DVD but never wathced it I was so infuriated. I have stopped alot of sales though just with words and there is a guy with a video on this subject I think up top this comment.

    Thanks,

    Dave

  • Dude, I FEEEL your pain through your video. You've convinced me enough to not buy this product 100%. Thanks for helping others! It's sad how these people who we believe that they're out to help us and give us hope, but they're just out to steal all our hard earned money.

  • Thanks, glad to help. You know many have used the beach/pool ball analogy & just yesterday these three kids outside here came up to me, "Mr. my ball is running out :(". I look at it and except for less rubbery, it is exactly the same size as this Bender Ball. I asked them to look for the blow how plug but we saw it actually is more sophisticated than the Bender ball. It has the real Sports Pin style seal for inflating and I bet this thing cost $5 tops! Also it had elaborate colors, etc & no S&H!

  • They did the same thing to me, I ordered from the website...I got the run around. Finally, I went straight to my bank and they did a chargeback! I turned them into the BBB as well.

Please people just go to your bank they will help you with the process. They are scammers and thieves

  • Good advice. I wonder how long these scammers will keep running their infomercial. You would think after all this time the public would learn. If this piece of junk ever shows up in Walgreens like many do it will be an even bigger joke. Thanks for the comment.

    Dave

  • Dave,

Thanks for your response. I'm not on anyone's side, I wasn't trying to be insulting or anything. I have a friend who has this and loves it and it has really worked for her. To each his own. I was just curious about the quantity snafu. Sorry if I offended anyone.

  • When I ordered mine that was the 1st question & they used the ambiguity of the English language to trick many into getting two & they never repeated quantities. Then as my video says they proceeded to keep me on the phone I think 31 minutes asking about every conceivable extra, even twice, like "are you sure you dont want that". I will never order from this kind of system again. If you think what you got is a good value compared to a beach ball then I am glad 4U. You are 1 or 2. Thanks for note.

  • I was curious about the scam with the two ball deal so I called the number myself to see what was asked. I don't understand where everyone is getting tripped up on the quantity issue. The voice clearly says,"If you would like to take advantage of this great offer, say yes or press 2. If you would like to stick with just one ball, say or press 1". That's pretty straight-forward to me. Right after I said one it verified that they had one ball in my order. What is so confusing about that?

  • Trust me, that is different. It has been months and they obviously have fine tuned their scam given all the complaints. Even if this were not true, they are still scamming people. Whos side are you on anyway? Read the comments, the ball is overpriced piece of junk.

    Dave

  • This is clearly a scam I mean come on, it's just a stupid ball. You could buy one at any toy store in America. Why would any one buy this. It would be like going out and buying a rock to use for weight lifting. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid.

  • Thanks for the note. Yes, and I think I am smart but I fell for this. Just think, many people are now set for life making millions off of dumb descisions like mine. I will find a use for this green blob of rubber someday if I have to melt it down and make some rubber coated rocks to work out with :), great analogy. Would you believe I have a chemistry degree, fix Windows software issues and am a PT inventor yet still fell for this.

    Thanks again, Dave.

  • Thanks! I was considering ordering one, and after watching your video and reading the comments I have changed my mind.

Sorry about your back problems, I have some back troubles myself. Luckily I have not had to have surgery, I also found a great chiropractor. I did purchase a device called "the bean". It's good, and easy on your back. You can intensify the workout by flipping it over, and it's good if your heavy.

  • why did you go through buying it lol

  • I dont recall why I went for it. I didnt know in advance what I was in for. I needed and still do need a crunch device that doesnt let me cheat and doesnt take up my whole room, e.g. a Ball! Tada!!! I have FBS, failed back syndrome. One way to get that is having a surgeon such as Dr. Jon Donshik, MD. North Miami area now operate on the WRONG disc in your back and then having to have someone who can count repeat it. Four hours on his feet digging into my ONLY GOOD DISC. The End.

    Dave

  • to be honest i would have just bought a swiss ball i mean there bigger but still they work really well.

  • I cant use those, i roll right off if you mean those big ones. During the surgery they did what htey called "destroyed my lamina" from L5 to L2 and you lose your ability to stay upright without swaying. The next step would be a fusion but I Nixed them on that. Now I have no insurance so I just have to get strong to compensate.

    Dave

{I can just email you if you like since this is not really for all to read, whatever,...

    Let me know.}

  • I also dislike the swiss ball for ab exercises.

I use them to sit on 'cuz they help with my posture, like just if I want to watch a movie or something at night it still helps to strengthen back and ab muscles if you really concentrate on your posture. But just get a little bouncy ball from wal mart if you liked the exercises, 'cuz that's what I'm using and it works just fine.

  • Thanks for your video...I was actually about to order one but have since changed my mind!! No thanks to an automated mailing every month....no wonder the price is so cheap...they get more out of you each month.45er

  • It is really a good feeling now that this video is being seen B4 some more consumers get screwed. I can hardly believe I went for such a simple ball, I am pretty infomercial resistant. They are running their ads again, the beach is going to have plenty of green balls around to play with in the sand and water. LOL

    Good Day to you.

    Dave

  • Well I am all about fitness and anything that makes it easier, I am in!! I have been suckered in quite a few times on these infomercials but not anymore. I will start researching a little more before I buy. Plus, as mentioned before, they are usually in the stores within a few months. Thanks again, Dave!

  • Sounds like time for a class action suit but I just hate the legal system. I will join one but wont start it. I here they are running the infomercials a lot now, again. :(

  • Thanks for informing us of the scam.

  • I completely understand what you are talking about. I had the same kind of experience with Slim in 6 and Yoga Booty Ballet (which are run by the same company along with Hip Hop Abs)...they ask you a million questions on the phone. Slim in 6 doesn't tell you that you have to work out twice a day for 20 mins each to get results in 6 weeks. Then, if you want to cancel you have to get permission and an auth # to return the products for a refund. Not worth the hassle.

  • Some infmrcl stuff good but given hassle & that i
