I cant understand why they would build such a INEFFICIENT hull and then compensate with power that is just wasted due to all the drag off all those lower units grabbing water This boat would run just as quick with 3X as 5X it just wouldnt carry weight as good. But then you could use smaller fuel tanks to kill ALL that extra weight.

Getting the insurance for something like that would be a bit tricky in Europe. They even get funny about boats that go over 17 mph over here! If you punch the numbers into online forms (HP, boat length, displacement) you soon get to "special quotation only" once they know you have something that will go over 30mph.

Wow, that is super extra fast! You should put another 10 engines on the boat and it will go like 400 miles per hour. And... if you can somehow put 30 foot outriggers on the sides, you could put 47 engines on the boat and get 9,523 MPH. Or even better, create some type of grid structure to the back and put 682 engines to go mach 32....

Of course, anyone familiar with high performance boats just laughs at the STUPIDITY of this expensive, weird and highly inefficient design.
