Actually it is bending but he also somehow feeds it back. He intentionally creates just the early beginnings of squealback to give it that extra push but I'm not entirely too sure how he does it. I think he actually just barely barely creates the slightest smidgen of a touch harmonic to feed it.

He was with ESP for only a few years, he recorded the The System Has Failed record while with ESP, if I'm correct. He had the DV8, a copy of his KV1 from Jackson, and the Axxion, the model Jackson never did. He's with Dean since 07 now

after Jackson sold to Fender in 99 he switched to ESP. After they said they were getting Van Halen so it didnt matter if they had Dave or not, he went to Dean. also I believe he was only getting like 1 custom guitar a year.

dave played jacksons' for most of his career man. jus recently did he pick up dean just prior to UA i think. and during the time of the system has failed he was w/ ESP which he said he didnt care for as much. Actually, before dean picked him up, he was just planning on going back to Jackson. and the guitar he is playing in this video is a Jackson Y2KV, the other Jackson he played was a King V, and thats the one w/ the sharp points. i own a King V, and a Kelly from Jackson. both deth guitars lol
