Actually, they have a separation between what's opinion and what's news. Yes their prime time programming is highly opinionated and skewed to the right. But if someone actually watches through out the day they cover the exact same stories as all the other networks. Sun's anchors aren't scared to tell it as it is and that's what Canada needs. Not really, CBC has a slight Liberal bias (although Peter Mansbridge really grilled Ignatieff yesterday)...I prefer CTV or CityTV (or even BBC if I'm really in the mood for news). Either way, I'm really conscious about bias when I'm watching the news - whether it's leaning to the right or left. So, although I recognize that Sun News has a right to exist and that people will undoubtedly watch it, I hope these people realize that Quebecor Media has a heavy conservative bias.

Their reporters (or sacred cows) are also SunShine Girls. I too thought this was a lesser copy of The Onion. Disappointing that it is not considering their anti-arts agenda. Funny as Krista Erickson and other staff come from CBC (a Canada Crown Corporation) which our tax dollars fund, and now they want to be included in a Public Channel which our tax dollars also fund. Gee, I guess they want more of our taxes for their work, but begrudge an even smaller amount to our countries arts and culture.

Anything the lawyer said she tried to twist into another meaning, and she basically came across like a menstruating bitch. Not really, CBC has a slight Liberal bias (although Peter Mansbridge really grilled Ignatieff yesterday)...I prefer CTV or CityTV (or even BBC if I'm really in the mood for news). Either way, I'm really conscious about bias when I'm watching the news - whether it's leaning to the right or left. So, although I recognize that Sun News has a right to exist and that people will undoubtedly watch it, I hope these people realize that Quebecor Media has a heavy conservative bias.
