I prefer The Show when it started up. MLB 2006 was the start of a better video game, but MLB 2006 The Show perfected it. MVP Baseball was best before that.

The ending moments (where New York gets the final two outs) proves that the Yankees are nothing but a pack of cheaters. They're using magic baseballs that don't have to be thrown back to the pitcher. This game should NOT have counted! Only when they learn to use REAL baseballs can we start counting their wins again!

I remember one time I almost made the biggest comeback for me in this game. I was playing on All star mode, and I play with the pitchers speed at 50. and after the first inning I was losing 10-0. I ended up using like 4 pitchers this game, and after 8 innings it was 12-10 with me still losing. I was away and put up 2 in the top of the 9th went into the 10th inning and ended up losing 15-12 on a 3 run shot Almost made a comeback That was the only lost I felt good about bc i made that Comeback lol

Actually got MLB 2k10 a few days ago. It's alright but the damn joystick control, need to get used to that. Can't hit as well as I could in MLB 2k10 either when you have to aim the left joystick around and aim the right one...you get my point

@sofaking27 MVP didn't need you to hit the joystick that much. You could just press a key and aim. In MLB 2k10 the joystick plays a larger role in pitching, and that's what I don't like.

And of course the hitting really needs to be addressed in MLB 2k10, I keep having to mess around with the left and right joystick, and I still fly or ground out.

hey...can I ask something about controls??....I play this game on PC and I don't know how to throw to the cut-off man....sometimes it informs me that I have to press 8 to throw to the cut-off man but it's not the 8 on num pad.....and i haven't figured it out for quite a long time.....and also when my opponent has a runner on first there is writen : 5-pick.....and I don't know how to press this 5 too.....can anybody help me??

2k has great graphics but I don't know about the gameplay. I like the MVP controllers better. Could swing a bat by pressing a key. In 2k you have to push the analog stick back to get ready, and up to swing. I don't like that

Like if you're using a right handed batter, use it to pull it to left field up. If you get a good pitch to hit and hit it at the right time, it'll probably either go deep into left or it'll go out.

Yes , in fact the original Yankees - Mets game I filmed was with a new ESPN overlay , it looked very cool but the pitch meter was off the screen and it was nearly impossible to pitch effectively. You can get all those overlays at MVPMods
