  • Food addiction is real. I didn't watch your entire video, but wanted to add that I'm recovering too, and don't even keep bad food in my house. If I want a cookie, I go out and eat one and then move on. Also, if I crave bad food, I drinks lots of water and go for a walk around the block. As far as I can see you're still giggling about it, which has a little to do with guilt. You need to get a grip of yourself and see that cookies in excess will give you diabetes, and make you sick.

  • i need some of those cookies lol

  • She is going to eat and loose weight the way that she chooses, the way that is right for her. She is being completely honest with us. She dosent have to show us everything she buys you know, she could hide all the bad foods. So, think you guys should back off and enjoy her honesty and HER journey!

  • Sharon - I see a lot of things that you buy that you shouldn't when you are trying to lose the weight. We crave different types of food at different times of the month. That's why it can get so out of control. It's your body's chemical imbalance that could trigger your binges.

Keep up the good work and I'm glad you are learning from your mistakes. Next time, try no chocolate or cookies in your food haul. lol

  • I think she is trying to incorporate the things she enjoys in her diet in moderation so she doesn't binge.

I'm trying to do the same thing. I lost 25 pounds over the summer...binge free for like 4 months. Then school started...and I binged like crazy because I had restricted myself so much over the summer. Now I'm in counseling and I'm trying to learn how to trust myself to buy things like chocolate and cookies so I don't go months without eating them and binge every time I just have a taste.

  • I believe it. I am losing weight now, (50 lbs down, 40 to go) and I am always worrying about whether I can ever overcome my addiction. You describe it so well. Uncontrollable.

  • It's so true. I deal with that a lot... I didn't used to have that until I started to lose weight... It is insane. If you can figure a way to stop that... please share... it's horrible.

  • This is why I don't buy cookies, if I want ONE we go to the book store and share a huge cookie.

I prefer binging on healthy foods, which I often do, and don't have the health problems or weight gain from gak foods. Love it.

Yep, food addiction does not go away.

  • I stay away from buying chocolate because I cant eat it with moderation.

  • We're programmed to finish what we start. It's powerful. The flavor of the cookie didn't help, but the lack of limit didn't provide a firm boundary for you. I find that having pre-measured portions helps me immensely. Having an entire container of cookies is way too much to manage. You did great with buying 1 cookie, right? Food manufacturers developed 100 snack pouches to helps those with food issues set firm boundaries with food. "All you can eat" get addicts and non-addicts in trouble.

  • Sounds like obsessive compulsive disorder. Addictions can be overcome but OCD cannot usually be cured without meds.

  • If you don't have cookies in the house you cannot eat them. Keep those things you know you should avoid away from you and keeps lots of heathly foods close at hand.

  • I swear, food like like CRACK!

  • I've been following your videos for quite some time, and when it's been going good for you, it's been going great for me aswell. But now, when you have been talking about binging and why you do it, and the deadly sins and all that, it has effected me too the degree that I've gained like 5 lbs. Where is all the positivity and the inspiration? I want the old Sushi Cat back! <3

  • This journey i am sure is not all about POSITIVITY..she is documenting her journey and that is REAL one must take their own initiative and conquer their own destiny. i have been following her as well and i love the fact that she is REAL and not making up things for one to believe. i am not going to let her slip ups deter my weightloss. i am using this as knowledge NOT to let it happen to me... i was 195 JUNE 1st i am now 155 and this is ALL because I TOOK THE INITIATIVE to create my own DESTINY

  • I know, talking to me is unbelieve;) IM kidding, I totally agree ith you though!

  • Been there and done that. More cookies than that though. However, I have been doing much better. I am married so I just say those are my husbands. That is all I need and I feel like that is enough. However, I know addiction is waiting around the corner, but if I can avoid it more than I run into it, than I can do this! I agree it is always there waiting. I think with me it is all sugar. I don't overload on cabage. Only sugary things. I have gotten to where I can buy things but not touch.

  • God!! I know!!! I guess you wont get those cookies again!

  • I can totally relate.. :(

  • thank you for doing this video i know exactly what you mean !

so thanks for doing this that is why i love you cause you are so honest and say what is on your mind <3 xoxox
