I watched this video and, after work, went home and sang an abridged "I got that feelin'" with "baby-baby-baaaabah" to my 6-month old son with as much funk as this full-blooded Italian-American can give (not much)...and he was just lighting up and dancing! Thanks, JB, for inspiring a city and a nation...and a little baby.
We as a people, are challenged to overcome our differences. Failing to do that reflects the shallow mindset of our culture. The dreams of our forefathers written in the constitution are clear and understandable even to the meekest and uneducated. When racism pervades, and it does to this day as much as ever, then our quality of life and our confidence in all matters deteriorates. There may be a few people that have benefited from this mentality but that's just a short lived reality soon to end.
