  • I am sorry-the one at the beginning "ACE" one-he makes him self to obvious

  • Merry CHRISTmas!!

  • last time i almost got caught, my friend punched one of the lp's and got away

  • Lol that is hella funny I hate loss pevention they act like that shit belongs to them get a real fuckin job leave peole alone

  • @dioraelove

    Clueless

  • The agent should be taken out as an internal for walking out with that hat lol

  • josh where u @!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @SOyouTHINKurFUNNY I aint in any of the videos lol They were all donated lol

  • @josh000068684 no meanin from ur youtube channel, havent seen u around or post new videos...im a big fan...so post more videos please

  • @SOyouTHINKurFUNNY Ill be uploading a new video soon. I need more people to donate some more videos....no luck so far/

  • @SOyouTHINKurFUNNY I just uploaded a new one

  • @mrheresyoursign most ace hardwares are individually owned. Nothing at all like lowe's. Lowe's has Lp too by the way.

  • For you lp bitches out there im a brown belt in bjj and a judo fanatic if you take me down if you even can ill break your fuckin arm off. I dont get why those thieves dont jus plow you bitches over and book it

  • @TheChokeoutartist Nice. You like thieves? How would you like someone to steal from your house? And it sounds like someone who calls himself "chokeoutartist" and threatens people has a bit of an anger management problem. Did your mommy not buy you all the toys you wanted when you were little?

  • @TheChokeoutartist cause most aren't hardcore just some normal people not used to acting when someone grabs you and your about to get in trouble

  • this song is gay fuck. dont drink beer, drink wine instead. i aint no pussy.

  • Good snag

  • Comment removed

  • this is clearly why Ace is losing profits to smarter companies like Lowes. Tackle a guy for stealing a low dollar item, and open yourselves to a million dollar lawsuit. You clearly didnt have time to identify yourself nor were you in uniform. The man mildly resisted (because he was restrained by an unknown man) and was taken down with excessive force......a good lawyer would have a field day with this.....whats the subjects name :)

  • Man I wish best buy let me do this.

  • @MTLKEBEK Haha thats why i left best buy and went to a different company! Best buy is a good place to learn about how people act and You can point them out if you leave to another store. Best buy was my beginning and it helped me out a lot! Get those blue crew bucks haha

  • I love being an LP. Unfortunately I'm the hero type. I get on the floor and primal nature takes over. It really is like youre a lion stalking the prey. You can smell a lifter from mile away. And the feeling I get when I see concealment, oh yeah. Heart rate doubles, blood pressure rises a good 30 points. My first fighter, i had to try 3 times to call PD because my hands were shaking so bad. I love it.

  • Nice...im an LP and that was a good stop...good job.

  • @sp3xs

you ever let dudes go or u just fuckin ppl all day

  • what store do u work at so i can steal it a ha ha ha ha....... tax the rich

  • love being LP!!!!

  • biggest mistake is people stay in one spot or look at the camera. My friend was almost apprehended but he shot the LP with pepper spray and ran off. it was freakin intense. I had no idea like what happened I was like wtf . I didnt even know he stole something.. dude if he got caught he would have been charged with assault

  • So funny LP's are never that good at pretending there regular shoppers. I professionally shoplifted for 2 years of my life until it became the death of me. Most people who steal are usually brainless but then again there's alot of smart people out there.

  • @landyl I didn't know stealing was considered a profession. Get a real job and then you would be able to afford things like real people.

  • FINALLY a solid take down. Great work. Gets a little odd seeing so many poorly executed approaches and take downs.

  • @zacthebold, easy, have an employee or LPO search the blind spot of the CCTV where it is thought he concealed it while still monitoring him. If he had it and you saw it, then hits a blind spot and is not on him, (after searching 4 the item in the blind spot) then he took it. LPO bases their decision of visual surveillance with their own eyes and good judgement (not assuming or stereotyping). In LP, in reality, there is no such thing as 100% visual. If you were, you would be detected easily.

  • @nuyorican94521 I am LPS for a store that just opened this year, with over 300 cameras and multiple monitoring systems I really do have 100% visual, each isle has at least 3 PTZ (pan tilt zoom) cameras that can view the entire area. Even with all these sweet cameras and higher success rate on catching criminals. I would love to floor walk any day.

  • @zombiewraps- I started on Cameras and did that for over a year. I went to my current company and all i do is floor walking. Its a whole different game. Its way more intense and real. It takes real skill. I consider myself a double edged sword now. Every company ive worked for I've held a rank in the top 3 in my district. I love what i do, and i'm very good at it. couldnt ask for a more fun job.

  • @cptsulich I am jealous. I got to floor walk for a day when the main power went down. (registers and fridges were on a back up generator so the store could still sell stuff). It was much more fun. I caught 8 people that day. I'd love to stay out on floor walks.

  • @zombiewraps i would like to see you try and wrap me up. i would have your ass on the ground, instead of me.

  • @bloodynachos dont try and act tough on the internet, you look like a dumb ass.

  • @bloodynachos alright, where do you work at?

  • I love this job

  • nice job!

  • @zhep03 i've actually had a stupid kid pull a knife on me for 5 dollar light bulbs and i didn't stop him i let him run but the police department caught him a day later and sent him to jail for just that and he had a 100,000 dollar bond

  • geese..wanna be cops on a power trip.. just because you have a titile doesnt mean you can do waht ever you want. that LP that put his hands on the guy, should have gotten punched. he was assaulted walking out the door before the man evenb addressed himself or let him know who he was.

  • @kms8907: you have no idea what your talking about, if someone steals from a store, that is theft. Second the stop that the lp agent/officer was doing was correct, and if they guy was trying to run, that is resistance. At that point they have the power to do whatever it takes to arrest him. They have a title backed up by law enforcement.

  • I make $15 a hour part time going to school, perfect for me... I walk around and do fuck all for 15$ a hour.. I'm not risking anything for Safeway fuck them

  • I love all the guys on here saying "it's just product, I'm not risking my life"... you know what, it is. But then go be a uniformed security guard and just scare them off. You are in the wrong jobs then!

  • Is that the job you get if you are so God Damn pathetic you cant get a job as a Mall Cop - Ha Ha Also.,The are 100% not allowed to do what they did in this Video - At Walmart you are susposed to ask them to stop.if they dont, you Can NOT Go after them, thats why we have Pigs,I mean Cops for.If the guy had a gun and an innoncent shopper or God Forbid a child gets killed the store will Lose Multi Millions in lawsuits and Fines. All for a GD 25$ item - IDIOTS

  • Tony did you send me vids? If so, no i didn't get any... could you resend ifyou were talking to me

  • I let them go, the product is not worth my life. I have been pepper sprayed and kept on him until i got him under control. But i had backup then.

  • So you are lp huh? Tell me somthing, what if you see somone(on cctv) pick up an expensive item then take it into a blind spot and wallk out of the blind spot without it? what can you do?

  • I let it go. I didn't see concealment and I lost continuity. I'm not going to go for something that i didn't see happen. Unfortunitly for me i don't have a great camera system like this store. I do all my work on the floor.

  • How strong was this alleged pepper spray? I have some that is meant for bears!

  • Pepperspray hurts, A LOT!..

  • they pull a knife and I'm not risking my life for the product... Instead of theft under 5000, its armed robbery... The smart Lps don't play hero, the dumb ones, and I know who you are talking with cause we have some on the team... will try to pull hero and thats when ppl get hurt

  • @zhep03 Yea I agree with you 100%

  • You are LP huh? Tell me what you do you guys do if you see somone on cctv take an expensive item into a blind spot and then come out of the blind spot without it?

  • Poptarts?? had to be a bitch like lady rsc..ive had cases of ppl using stolen info and credit cards buying over $20,000 under someones elses name..its not just pop tarts u whore..and its just a job..it beats sitting behind a desk..i bet shes had her ass beat by lp's in the past lol

  • Comment removed

  • Haha that's how we do it!!

But Ace will fire yo ass for putting that out on the net like that.

  • never seen concealment but good call.

  • you people are pathetic..wow. who would honestly enjoy this? its not heroic. its just for fags. .

fags who want to feel superior, over someone who didnt pay for pop-tarts.

if he got away it wouldnt make much difference to you, or anyone else. you just enjoy feeling like you matter.

    WHEN YOU DONT

    :D

  • @LadyRSCcru ahah typical shoplifter. people dont relize that shoplifting raises prices for everyone else and that SHOPLIFTING IS ILLEGAL... 90% of the people that i stop and that get arrested shit there pants that they actually get aressted

  • "Shoplifting is illegal" ha you sound funny

  • stealing is stealing is stealing

  • wtf its a job. lp's don't do it cus they want to be heroes dumbshit. most cops now were ex lp's themselves so stfu. you're the one thats a fag

  • i like ur vids josh, thanks for posting them. by the way what music is this?

  • The perfect video! Excellent position on watching the suspect.. ducts into another aisle playing the acting role.. Then sees the concealment, stays cool and calm and continues to play the part... Then the stop is quick and fast very good boys... It's bullshit how they double you, and I never get to be doubled, so boring being alone... 10/10 thats a perfect app

  • I know the feeling..

  • If You Guys Think This IS Interesting Work. You Should Watch My Videos. Im A Bail Bondsman. I just started posting vids of my busts.

  • oh really i thought this video belonged to bballplayer 21

  • The guy was hardly resisting, but they took him down anyway, not sure what that was about?

  • Sometimes this can look bad, but you have to understand that once they start resisting "at all" this raises a flag.. sometimes following a slight resistance, a knife or screwdriver is pulled and thrusted into LP's stomaches. I understand your view though.

  • Hardly resisting and not resisting at all are two very different words when were talking about shoplifting. If he trys to resist or flee, we have the right to take them down... hard. My safety is number one, and if I feel threatened in anyway, ill take measures to erase that. A judge will always rule in favor of loss prevention, this video proves it. If the guy was calm and did not attempt to resist or flee, then that would be a no no for the take down..

  • yo josh this video suck

  • ok move along

  • i guess josh really wants to take the credit, guy put his name up several times lol

  • lol Its cus theres people that download videos and then upload them to their own profile. I put some watermarks to prevent that. Loss Prevention 101 lol

  • yea josh im kiddin bro. I would too put my name...BTW u a LP...i bet its fun huh, dont u feel sorry catchin these guys? when u gonna post new videos man...this is fun to watch...great fan of urs :)

  • not in lp for the moment, but im trying to get in to the field again. Its very hard to get in the field.

    lol

  • @josh000068684 I love how when i was trying to get my start, every company was looking for someone with 1-3 years experience, but you cant get that experience because everyone is looking for veterans. kind of a catch-22. I finally found my in and I love my job. Non-productives are no fun (ive had 2 in my career), but after a while you learn. best job ever!

  • @josh000068684 you mean like you did with your other lp video...

  • @OmniStories Seriously! What an attention whore!

  • yeah im an AP at a walmart and we can go hands on for sure but if the theif gets away, we're only allowed to chase them for 10 ft...after that they say its not worth it....we dont always stick to that rule, but that is the rule.

  • You dont always stick to the rule?? Then you need to be fired/

  • You need to understand the politics of the job buddy.

  • They make these rules for reasons.

    For your protection

    To prevent Lawsuits etc...

9 times out of 10 AP/LP are not and never have been trained LEO. It only takes one idiot to make a stupid mistake and break a stupid rule to cost a company millions or worse someones safety.

  • Even an NPS (Non Productive Stop) can cost a minimum of $100,000.

  • Nice teamwork guys. Sure does make me miss my LP days! Not enough to go back though...people are crazy now a days. I'm sticking to surveillance.

  • In Canada, Wal-Mart LPO's are the WORST, next to Loblaws. And the worst paid as well.

  • Agreed!

  • Lawl why not just watch the tape in office that guy looks like a tool

  • Lol i was in walmart and i saw one of these guys, its so obvious how they follow you, to see what you may or may not be taking ; ). Just some advice try not to make it so obvious i was onto one of you in the first 30 seconds of them spying on me.

  • lmaoo you floorwalkers think your slick, so obvious have 1 or 2 items in ur hand thats sooo different like laundry soap n boxers wtf? and have brand new running shoes everytime ahah u cant fool me and never can catch me its too easy!

  • chhhaaaaaaaange the song!! two vids same song wtf

  • No not all wal mart are hands off. I work for one in NC and I will say though that the one across town has a strict no hands on policy. We however get to go hands on :)

  • lol i love how the lp played it off

  • That's some nice snooping lol

  • i like the song that was playing during the video.

  • I remember this, Loss prevention rules. I cannot wait til I keep being brown noser to let other get caught. I love being a snitch for a discount center. It makes money. Keep stealing, I love seeing the space being filled up with names of shoplifters.

  • I remember those day. Now you gotta play nice with these damn "hand off" rules. Frustrating as hell.

  • Hahaha..not at my store. As long as we get them back in the office...anything goes.

  • Now this is how it's done. Great stop

  • Where is the point where he actually takes the item. Im having trouble finding this.

  • from 0:40 to 0:44 i think he was putting the item in his pocket

  • lol same over here in the uk ( manchester) i chased 2 ic1 males across the car park of my store and one pulled a knife on me .. so i drop kicked him through a taxi window lol lets just say we lost the footage when the police arrived lol might b able to recover the footage tho lol

  • nice job tho

  • cant you be prosecuted by data protection for posting this video?

  • Nice apprehension. i just had to chase a subject from my store across two parking lots in to JC Penny. Good thing JC Penny LP assisted me until my partner got there

  • wow that was good. There was this video where it took forever to even get him on the ground and stay there.

  • nicley done, i'm a kmart LP and that was a pretty nice take down. props where props are due

  • ya i work lp to and they always say i dont have anything

  • thats whats up i work in lp to at a sears . they always say i dont have anything. ya okay budy

  • nice job post more

  • Wal Mart is hands off......right?

  • Nice take down.

  • what was your monthly stops externally ...or just your highest number of stops monthly

  • Haha, this is to all the fools who keep trying. Also, what's with all the hate? I envision a world where shoplifters and LP can get along. Haha.

  • maybe that five fingers should have thought twice. i work in retail my self at lowes we cant do takedowns. but we do have other ways of dealing with such idoits.. attention all shoplifters.. please dont get smarter just get dumber.. shoplifting is a crime and can get you alot of jail time PLUS YOU COULD LOSE YOUR JOB! AND FAMILY SO PLEASE DONT DO IT!

  • Excellent stop. I work LP for a major retailer that doesn't allow immediate takedowns, we require escalation by the perp. Did you zip tie or cuff him?

  • I also work LP, and were not allowed to do takedowns like this.. It sucks

  • I'm an LP and to answer your question he used handcuffs. But yeah we are not allowed to do takedowns like that but sometimes you have to. And if it's cought on camera my boss usually agrees and hes all for it.

  • Man i do AP for Target that is 30 times more hardcore you should see the videos we have of downtown boston, but good grab man, from 1 LP to another

  • Ive been wanting to do lp ever since I got busted as a cashier at a sears. I was taught alot of shit by another worker so I would definatly be a good lp guy. How do you get hired as LP?

  • YOU don't. LP doesn't hire corrupt people.

  • Its goin to be hard to get hired

  • I agree with you. They do a background check on you so, i don't know if you'll be able to get the job.

  • juvenile records are completley off limits to all employers except the military. I even had to help the army find this arrest. trust me ive been through this before about 20 times.

  • Comment removed

  • How dumb are you because I was a juvenile and I have a clean adult record so they wouldnt know you fucking scrub. Think before you run your mouth.

  • Comment removed

  • good take down!!! i use to be a LP in los Angeles CA, and it is the best job of my life!

  • NICE! what do you do now?

  • i started working for a restaurant equipment warehouse after the company that i was doing LP started cutting our hours!!!! but i would never forget what i learnd at this job!!!

  • oh that sucks! were you doin lp just for fun? Or were u maybe looking to go in to a different careers path?

  • i was trying to go all the way to executive protection!!!!

  • nice stop. 1 question though. you lost site of him for a moment when he moved onto the next isle... how did you know that he hadn't dumped the items?

  • this stop was excellent. I like the fact that you guys were able to take him down quickly.

  • Sometimes you have to rely on your instinct which comes quickly in this buisness.

  • Great stop. You guys took him down quick and professionally.

This is not a put down but some of the people I've seen i previous videos should do a search for some videos about arrest and control techniques. This way you can take guys down quickly like the guys in this video.

  • Ok fellas, I wanted to give my input. Nothing out of the ordinary when it came to watching the guy. Looked like one on the floor one on cameras. Here's where it's gets iffy with me... If you watch "contact" it doesn't look like the LPA identified self prior to making physical contact (hands were on suspect immediately). LPA (2) came in and immediately wrapped the guy up and placed his head into the pavement. Good stop guys but be careful, easy lawsuit in my opinion (from video prospective).

  • You might not know the full situation though. A lot of times as soon as the suspect figures you out they try to run. It might have been as soon as this LP turned around that the guy started to go and he had to get his hands on him. As AP myself I've had that situation happen a lot.

  • Nice work man. LP here in Canada.

It does kinda look like your partner threw a running fist at the Lifter's face tho... had to rewatch it a few times to see what was going on there. :P

  • Sweet job !

  • good take down dude... im an LPO in Maryland.

  • What song is this? It's tight

  • good arrest, me I have been doing LP for the last 2 years its the best.

  • nice take down , i am also an lp from canada

  • how did you get that job? What experience and stuff does it take for me to be a lp?I really want to be 1.

  • Well , its the same as applying for any other job. LP is really just a title, nothing else. Many people that work for lp think they got power....nope....LP is the same as anyother job. They get no other special "benefits". They can only make a citizens arrest if a crime is done and if they have proof (cctv)

Many people that work for security(rent a cops) or Loss Prevention are people interested in becoming cops. Thats what im doin. Im currently working hard to become a cop.

  • "LP is really just a title, nothing else" uhhhh kinda forgetting the excitement of every shoplifter u get, hoping he resists or even runs away for a fun chase. yeah i always like when they resist ;) as dirty as that sounds lol.

  • provoke them, let them get a few feet ahead of you and yell HEY COME BACK and they'll run works every time haha but really not the best idea, and the loss prevention managers look down on it

  • what's the name of the song? I like it :D

  • Nice take down! Go LP!!

  • It goes like this in Canada, you must see them take the item, conceal the item, you must verify that they continue to have it and have not discarded it ("continuity"), and they must exit the store.

hunches, suspicions, reasonable thoughts are NOT methods of going through with an arrest

  • i agree to that, i myself am a LP in Canada

  • how do you get that job?

  • (former LPO myself) We call the last one where I use to work at ; Going past the last point of sale.

Basically if you go past the registers/EAS tag gates and on your way out while still concealing its as good as leaving the store.

But you were right on with the other steps .

  • same here in ohio

  • it sucks doesn't it thought, when you know that they stole but you don't "know" hey

  • yea it pisses me off. but i'm glad im not LP anymore

  • very nice stop. Text book

  • can you guys charge using the cctv cams as evidence?

  • well i would put it back then when they move you more then 8 ft i would say they kidnap me and i would own ace

  • *I* was the one who ended up saying "excuse me" (b/c like I said, it was as if he had been standing there *very quietly* for awhile "waiting" for me to move)-& when I said this & moved my cart out of the way,he said, "Take your time" in a strange manner. I wish I had had the presence-of-mind to ask him, "How long had you been standing there?"- as if he was some perv or weirdo who didn't know how to act. But I didn't have time to think;I didn't suspect that something was up until it was too late.

  • Good for you. I too notice those "weird" customers eyeballing me. I bet they do get dissapointed once they see we do use our hard earned money to actually pay, rather than steal.

  • Another time, much more recently - Whole Foods didn't have the item I wanted, so I had to make up my mind between some similar items. I stood there for awhile trying to make my decision - suddenly, I discovered that this "customer" w/ a shopping cart was behind me. It was really strange, b/c if he was standing behind me & I was blocking his way, you would have thought that he would have said "excuse me". But he didn't say anything - it made me wonder how long he had been there quietly lurking.

  • And despite what that Whole Foods manager told me (when I complained to him about employees eyeing me all of the time)- Whole Foods must employ some undercover Loss Prevention. I remember how one time, when I was having trouble making up my mind about whether to buy a bag of veggies - I turned around & saw some "customer" STARING at me...he acted all TOO interested in me and that bag of veggies. I mean,he was leaned all over like he was trying to get a good view of the bag of veggies in my hand.

  • I'm as innocent as any shopper - yet I always notice that I am targeted in some way. It's maddening as hell - b/c here you are spending your hard-earned money in a store, & they are insulting your character. But I figure that I get one of the best types of "revenge" on LP - when they watch me throughout the store & are "disappointed" at the end. All of that time wasted on me, when some "less suspicious" looking person probably made out with some unpaid loot.

  • I'm not a shoplifter - I've never been one, & until I "discovered" that I was being watched the concept of shoplifting didn't even enter my mind as I shopped (not that I'm trying to shoplift now - it's just that when you see someone watching you, that's when you tend to be reminded that shoplifting exists). I'm an HSP (Highly Sensitive Person - read all about it in the Elaine Aaron book "The Highly Sensitive Person"). So I can pick up on "subtle" things, & I notice you guys all the time.

  • Good. Highly sensitive people about their surroundings are good LP agents. You should be one. I bet you'd make a helluva LP.

  • Haha - LPs make me feel too badly for me to cross over to "The Other Side". I wouldn't want to make someone else feel how LPs consistently make me feel (you know, insulted & hurt that they think I'm someone who needs to be watched).

Question - do managers lie to customers about the amount of LPs they have working in a store? I already mentioned about the Whole Foods manager whom I think lied to me about whether or not they have plain-clothed LPs working the store, and (contd.)

  • Yeah, managers will lie to customers. I wont lie to you though, I'm an LP. but I don't consistently follow the same person over and over, and I'll keep my eye on someone from across the store. Only for about 5 to 10 minutes. Photographic memory helps me know that when the person comes in the next time, I need not bother them. Why waste my time with someone who doesn't shoplift? I feel your pain though. I've been under the looking glass before too and it does bug the shit out of me.
