yeah I shoulda played viola instead of violin...the sound is deeper and a bit more smoother if you ask me but that's more or less whether the player plays correctly...also there's not a lot of competition so it's easier to make it into certain orchestras such as a youth symphony or all state

@mikeshinodafan100 a viola is bigger and you can play deeper notes on it. on the violin you can play really high notes and it is smaller. you should search for paul dateh's youtube video "violin vs viola", he explains it really well. ;D

Unfortunately, you're pretty good. And this is coming from a Cellist ;) lol but in all seriousness, this is actually really good. Violas don't get a lot of repect through music compositions and even how the orchestra is physically set up. for those who don't know, Violas are usually placed in the middle, behind Cellos and next to the Violin section. I did stumble upon this video by accident and usually string instrument covers are pretty sketchy (except guitar covers) because you have to give every note right in a little amount of time and plus the fingerings are not marked for you. That's why string instruments are so hard to play.
