  • USA USA USA!

  • America, FUCK YEAH!!! - Coming to save the Mother Fucking Day! lol =D

  • You guys need to chill. Some kids having fun. Not everything is cause for debate.

  • I really wish I could have been there. I was asleep when the news hit, didn't find out until about 8am the next morning.

  • @CountryBuff08 I found out 2 days after the event of Osama, even being on line for the two days.

But, I found out Joe was fired an hour after the announcement, Joe seems to have had a bigger news day then...

The police will show up to control protesters over the demise of Joe.

  • bunch of dense douchebags.

  • YAY OSAMAS DEAD YAY THE WORLD CAN LIVE AT PEACE YAY EVERYONES LIVE ARE GONNA BE BETTER YAY EVERYTHING WILL CHANGE

  • Man - could you imagine how many slices of pizza Acme could have sold??? This is a mid-1990s referrence for all you young folks.

  • I really love this.

  • This is weird. People are celebrating ... what? Do they really dont know? I'm from Germany/Europe and I can tell you 9/11 was an intelligence operation. I heard former intel officers speak out. I agree Arab amateurs could have placed car bombs or suicide bombs but NOT pull of such a big operation like 9/11 on their own. No way! They needed strong support from pentagon, CIA and the government to do this. I'm not offending anybody for celebrating if you dont know what really happened. Research 911

  • @gggfausto i'm glad you decided to cite your german-ness as the sole reason why you think you know more than everyone else.

  • Man, I wish I was there! That was awesome guys!

  • Well i think the cheering of a dead human being is a bit overboard....But I guess middle easterns also cheered just as loud when your twinw towers fell. So I guess its even. Still kinda sick though. Either way, im glad hes dead. Bin Laden just needed some pussy and and an XBox and this would have never happened.

  • @michaelbarile lol hes just a face for something much bigger

  • @michaelbarile There's nothing wrong with celebrating the fall of the man who maliciously killed thousands of innocent Americans and dealt us students our first reality check when we were hardly old enough to sign our names in script. What is the difference between your private happiness and our public happiness? Same emotion...

  • @Alexe2damoney Yeah I guess you're right. When do we celebrate George W Bush's death? He has also killed many innocent people....Just saying! PS: I love the US anthem, so touching, really is.

  • @michaelbarile Listen, I'm a staunch democrat and STRONGLY disagreed with man of Bush's policies. But I'm an American above all else and I'm not gonna sit here while someone from another country talks about my former president like that. 9/11 was an act of terror. The violence that ensued was war. Two COMPLETELY different things, no matter how controversial the war is. And I agree, the Star Spangled Banner is a beautiful piece of music that tells a story of hope and perserverance .

  • @Alexe2damoney Let's not forget the hundred of thousands of innocent people America killed.

  • @Theowest Celebrating the death of Bin Laden does not mean that we are happy about the death of innocent people. I fail to see how the two are the same.

  • @Theowest Or the billions of Russians that the Russians themselves have killed over the years, or the islanders and chinese the Japanese killed during WW2 or the Jews that Hitler killed, or the people Mussolini killed. Or the millions that European nobles killed or the hundreds of thousands that the Romans killed.

Face it man no country can claim that they have not killed innocents.

If you want to point fingers at killing innocents Russia should be the first one you point at.

  • @Alexe2damoney hey, I'm a muslim and i partially agree with you... Even I got slightly excited when he died... but this is WAY too much, gotta respect the dead no matter what that person did. look into your bible and you'll understand.

  • lostalex77 you're a queer

  • @croby95 and you're a homophobe.

  • His followers can try anything we want, we can't live in fear for stopping the tyrants.

  • those people are soooooo brainwashed USA ftw? i dont think so

  • @Mathizek brainwashed how. USA didn't start it, be sure as hel will reign hell on anyone who brings it to us. Go ask anyone in Hiroshima or Nagasaki, or any of those pathetic Afghan villages that suported Bin Laden along the way.

When will people get the messege? don't fuck with USA, cause we will fucking RAIN FIRE DOWN UPOn YOU.

    LEARN THE FUCKING LESSON.

  • I'am happy That Bin laden Died (if he ever exicted) BUT CELEBRATING A MANS DEATH IS A SIN!!!

  • @ManiaCs14789 If celebrating death is a sin then let me be, so I can go to hell and kick Bin Ladens ass personally! That rhymed.

  • so much for the stereotype of all college students being ultraliberal commie-hippies

  • Killing him is one of the best things, everyone that has died in the attacks and every single soldier that has gone over there to fight and rid this planet of his evil clans of cowards are at ease now, they didnt die in vain, every soldier that has come back phsically or mentially scared are at ease

  • I hope your right but this is not over.

  • you all realize killing him is one of the worst things we could have done

  • @Fashiongirl95

No. Explain how killing someone who killed at least 2000 innocent people because of a book, is wrong. please.

  • @xThat16Guyx well, now his followers are going to be really mad at the united states and plot another terrorist attack probably even worse than 9 11. i heard they already were thinking about messing with the railroads

  • And that's the beginning of third World War... Celebrate his death is like show your middle finger to radical muslins and call the war. You are making revange, not justice...

  • @alexandrokz shut up and sack up. you don't live in freedom if you have to live in fear.

  • @alexandrokz revenegge is part of justice. giving solace to the victims is part of justice, and that mother fucker's skull being shattered by an american bullet certainly brought solace to me. DOn't try to TELl ME what is justice bitch. I'll TELl YOU what's justice, cause i'm the fucking victim of that pice of shit.

the bullet that shattered that towel head's skull was justice for me. I'll be voting for Obama in 2012, that's for DAMN sure.

  • Americans, God loves you. God especially like how you have fun over death of man. Apparently, the Bible and it is written - "kill enemy, and rejoice, bro!"

  • @uJinnNSK he was not a man, he was a monster. what does the bible say about killing monsters?

  • It takes an intelligent person to believe the truth because it's less entertaining than the conspiracy theory...simple minded people need to be entertained with these arguments, its less exciting to accept he was shot in the head and dumped off a boat. Ttherefore allowing yourself to get carried away with the discussion about 'what really happened' shows how unintelligent you are ... you crave 'proof' of his death...I demand proof he's alive.

  • Bone marrow DNA tests can be done by lates techniqes in less than 24 hours. Google it on many universitiy sitse. But, yoyou wouldn't believe pics, dna or anything else. Even if you were there you would probably claim it was a secret twin or something. I give up. I wish you happiness and peacee

  • SO LONG OSAMA hahaha

  • I suppose it just doesn't matter when he died. Most of the Muslim and non-Muslim world believes he's dead and that's what matters. If they published pictures, there would still be those that claim it was photo-shopped, so what's the point? It isn't about the "body". If the govt. us lying, we will never be able to prove it. I'd rather use my energy on other things

  • @lucysey Like Nine Eleven Truth ;-) well said ;-) and opposing illegal wars perhaps?

  • "Martin Luther King didn't say that."- Abraham Lincoln

  • No reason to see OBL's shot up face. As an EMT, I assure you, it doesn't do your soul good. If you really must see gory, go to rotten.com

  • njhth....sigh...I was making a JOKE. At your expense, I'm afraid. Listen please...I get it. You are completely convinced that the things you dsy are true. I feel kind of sorry for you because you are really paranoid. Let's just say you're right and OBL died 10 years ago. WHAT DOES THAT CHANGE? Really...lighten up. ed

  • @lucysey Well, no I'm not paranoid. But, you have to think what does it change now since it was announced? Well let's ask ourselves these questions:

1.) Why hasn't our government release the full photo? They say it's too "gross," but how about the event's we all saw on 9/11 with people falling out of building's? That was more traumatizing than seeings OBL shot in the face.

2.) Why did we send his body out to sea, instead of being him to court here and sentence him to death?

    Common sense folks

  • @njhth many news organizations received a lot of shit for publishing those photos and came out publicly to express their regret for those photographs as they weren't just a one day photograph in the newspaper, but will always be circulating online for anyone to see. the photo is too gruesome and will be counterproductive. dna has already proved it to be bin laden.

they sent his body to sea because wherever they bring the body will be a serious target for attack. that is the safer thing to do.

  • @samira2542 DNA Fake-N-A , it doesn't matter. DNA evidence can be altered. And since when did it take us only 24 hours to take sample's? Usually it take's 2 weeks to get result's.

By sending his body out to sea is like sweeping dust under a carpet. Don't buy into their shenanigan's, It was just released that the photo of Odumba with his staff watching the screen, wasn't watching anything at all. Here is the link: tinyurl com/3msur39

We are now blaming and framing Pakistan. WIII anyone?

  • @njhth don't you think that osama or alkida would have sent out some message saying "didn't get me bitches!" ( paraphrasing lol) I think they'd have to much pride to let us think we killed their leader

  • @njhth 1) its not too gross it will result in backlash and condemnation from parts of the world that although don't support bin laden, dont want the united states operating as if the entire world belongs to them.

    2) how can you sentence him to death when hes dead... common sense. They killed him and dumped him... as for 2 weeks for DNA evidence results - thats because laboratories are backed up, its not a matter of the process taking 2 weeks. Bin laden's Sample jumps the line.

  • @mckendo83 The US government’s bin Laden story was so poorly crafted that it did not last 48 hours before being fundamentally altered. Indeed, the new story put out on Tuesday by White House press secretary Jay Carney bears little resemblance to the original Sunday evening story. The fierce firefight did not occur. Osama bin Laden did not hide behind a woman. Indeed, bin Laden, Carney said, “was not armed.” The firefight story was instantly suspicious as not a single SEAL got a scratch.

  • @njhth Tdespite being up against al Qaeda, described by former Pentagon chief Donald Rumsfeld as ‘the most dangerous, best-trained, vicious killers on the face of the earth.” Every original story detail has been changed. It wasn’t bin Laden’s wife who was murdered by the Navy SEALs , but the wife of an aide. It wasn’t bin Laden’s son, Khalid, who was murdered by the Navy SEALs, but son Hamza.

  • @njhth It was an assasination...not many people are able to shoot back when they are shot in the head... your response says hes dead...which was my point...the story that he was killed in a cowardly way vs the story he was assasinated doesnt do anything to disprove his death... excellent use of cut and paste though.

  • @mckendo83 Of course he is dead, I never doubted it. He died back in 2002 of Kidney Failure. He needed a Dyalsis Machine to live! Why wasn't there any pictures of this? Top US government insider Dr. Steve R. Pieczenik, a man who held numerous different influential positions under three different Presidents and still works with the Defense Department stated that he worked with Bin Laden to help fight the Soviets when they invaded Afghanistan. Still to blind to believe? Look him up. Shocking & tru

  • Comment removed

  • @mckendo83 It was not cowardly. He had 10 fucking years to turn himself in if he wanted to go to court. he had 10 years TO surrender if he wanted a trial. GIve me a fucking break.

  • @lostalex77 what are you replying to me for...i didnt disagree.

  • .... war is really ugly. "Let's all just be friends" won't happen. It's human nature that some of us will go around, pissing on trees, marking their territory & the rest will be deer caught in headlights. Someone will always be at war...the dismal parade of wars from the start of recorded history teaches us that. It's not realistic to think that humans will all just change. These "debate" forums just prove my point that we will nevet live in perfect harmony...that's just a Coke commetcial.e

  • I have a LOT invested in seeing this and all wars ended. My youngest son is a US Marine. His unit just came back from deployment and was greeted by their buddy, who had come back earlier. He had list two legs and an arm. Why isn't the picture of him hugging his buds go on the cover of Time? We needed this to happen. We're not in a soccer game with our foes for crying out loud...this is a WAR!

  • It's not about the death of a man, a body, a sack of bones. It's NOT. It is about a disheartened, worried nation of people whose hearts NEEDED to see that, for all the loss of life, broken bodies and financial strain, a huge corner was turned when the SYMBOL of why we were in this miserable war, was defeated. It isn't about hatred, or gloating over a violent act. It is, to so many, a tay of hope that we can turn the tide and get the hell out of there. I don't know anyone who isn't sick of war.

  • "I will mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that."

    ~Martin Luther King Jr

  • @gmt90 This is a misquote, MLK did not say the first sentence.

  • @shuroshka Just discovered this too, actually. Still applicable, however:

"Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that."

    ~Martin Luther King Jr

  • Like a bunch of college kids need a reason to throw a party? LOL!

  • for real...njhth...how do we know YOU aren't a plant yourself? How do we know you aren't hatching some evil plot of your own to overthrow the US govt.? Hahaha...whoever you are, this I know for certain...you're ridonculous!!! Sorry to make it so personal but you are such a fun target! You set yourself up, man.e

  • @lucysey What do you mean? Plant? What is that? I am like the rest of the "waken" American's that aren't being fooled into this garbage. We are celebrating for nothing. Yes it's good he is dead, but he's been dead for 10 years now! OBL died of Kidney failure back in 2002! FFS he needed a Dyalisis Machine to live! Us American's need to ask why we haven't seen the full body! Even CNN said the photo was a fake! Why couldn't we bring OBL here and trial him and hang him like they did with Saddam??

  • Still cannot believe everybody is buying into this fairytale!

"John Brennan, President Barack Obama’s top counter- terrorism adviser, told reporters earlier that the slain woman had been one of bin Laden’s wives and had been used — perhaps voluntarily — as a shield during the firefight.

However, a different White House official said that account had turned out not to be the case. Bin Laden’s wife was injured but not killed in the assault."

WAKE UP AMERICA WE ARE BEING PLAYED!

  • @njhth I can't believe you're still commenting on this. Just give up dude.

  • This is why PSU is the greatest school in the nation. My years at Penn State were the greatest of my life, and nothing will ever beat the "riots" (more like excited gatherings) that take place right there on BEAVER AVE, the Ohio State victory and when the Phillies won the World Series are two of the ones i was present for...GOD DAMN I LOVE HAPPY VALLEY!!!

    -PSU ALUMNUS 2009

  • @sonik10971 Hook 'Em

  • gives me chills

  • @Stefandurr I hope you don't live in the US, for you sir, are an idiot

  • You are too smart for your own good. Relax.

  • Go PSU!! Never been more proud to be a Nittany Lion!!

  • For all you hating-shut up. We were celebrating not only the death of a terrorist that caused thousands of deaths, but a celebration of justice. PENN STATE! USA!

  • Obama holding Osama Bin Laden's severed head: "THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE O'AMA!!"

  • dubya386....bwahahaha!

  • They certainly know the words better than Christina Aguilera.

    Too soon?

  • @dubya386 I was actually heartened by that! lol

  • @dubya386 I was actually heartened by that! lol Not sure why --it's a dreadful song. For goodness sake, let the children have their patriotic joy. They grew up under the shadow of bin Laden and Sept 11th.

  • When Mr. McLaren was learning his WWII history, did he also tear up when he found out that Hilter died? Bin Laden was no better than that killer was. Good riddance to another brutal killer!

  • WE ARE.........U.S.A.!!!!!

  • effin morons

  • I would bet these are the same ones who yell for peace and brotherhood and then proceed to beat people up with their beliefs. I'm sure they are a lot of fun at parties....not. Try to remember that they sre a tiny mimority in what is a nation of people celebrating in genuine unity, the passing of a very bad man who stood for everything free people abhor

  • shuroshka....thanks for trying to give people the real story about wjat it was like. I think it's obvious, but some people seem hell bent on having a sour, divisive attitude about things like this

  • thank you, lostalex77, people who compare the two incidents snd see the same incident seem to be tunnel-visioned

  • @Stefandurr I agree, am I happy he's dead, of course, would I make a parade out of it... totally not, Remember how pissed we were when muslims were celebrating when the 2 towers fell .... anyways ...

  • @lordpatrice the muslims on 9'11 were celebrating the death of innocent people. Osama bin laden was NOT innocent by any stretch of the imagination, so how is it the same?

  • @lostalex77 Not saying its the same deal here, thats an assumption you made, I just think its ridiculous to cheer up like this for the death of someone else, these guys are celebrating like us Canadians, when Canada beats the US in a hockey tournament !!! you dont see something wrong with that picture ? like I said above, I am very happy he's dead, altought I think he deserved something worse than death for what he did, but I would'nt go in the streets cheering up like this. this is moraly wrong

  • Where are the BURNING COUCHES?

  • "i felt like it was Christman. except instead of celebrating the birth of Jesus, we were celebrating the death of the devil." - Dennis McKenna, retired New York City firefighter.

  • God Bless Penn State!! I miss Happy Valley so friggin' much! =)

  • @sweeney2321 ok troll

  • even tho this is sad i feel happy for his dead.... lol

  • Jessicazone...how right you are. It is incredible to think that this man and his followers changed the world, profoundly, in one horrific day. If that doesn't define him as a really destructive being I don't know what would. A rabid animal is put down for the safety of all and so should Osama. Does anyone think he was a happy, healthy man? Imagine the nightmare inside of his head 24/7!!

  • bringfortruth...I'm trying to understand your point of view. I think I get it, but I guess we will just have to disagree about the right or wrong way.The taking of bin Laden's life was not a knee-jerk reaction. A lot of very good and wise people frim all over the world were in agreement that he had to go. They tried to take him alive, but that didn't work. I respect your views but must differ. Thanjs for being so polite and thoughtful.

  • that looks alot like intense nationalism

  • We are not ceelebrating the death of a man, we are celebrating the death of evil and everything that he wrought in his wake. Those who can't understand that, I question your version of empathy and compassion. How about empathy and compassion for all of the victims, not only those killed, but which includes all of us. Our lives will never be the same since 9/11. If you need a reminder, just go to your nearest airport.

  • I remember waking at the dorm in my first week of college on that day, watching the second plane hit..... both towers fall, now ten years later....there is nothing wrong with these celebrations, it's an incredible sight of joy and happiness that we need to embrace. Maybe we are celebrating the death of one, but it's more a celebration for the lives of the many who were lost on that day. This is a joyous day for America.

  • if this video doesn't give you chills and a sense of pride..get the fuck out of my country and go hide out in some caves.

  • @bumper22ful uhm not really I was to busy studying for my finals to join everyone, not like this even matters my life has not changed because of this yet faggot

  • kayanthony....you SHOULD be conflicted by the violence. It is when we become innured or delighted by violence that we lose a bit of our humanity. Keep those soldiers who had to kill to accomplish this horrible task in your hearts. No matter how prepared one is, the taking of a life is a heavy burden. Ask any soldier or police officer.

  • When we celebrate it isn't because a man has died. It's because what he represents will now begin to die. His brand of evil is abhorred by free people. Historically, when the leader goes the org. falls apart. Jockeying for lead position creates warring factions and the org. is destroyed from within. Can't wait.

  • I was a little conflicted over the celebration of violence. I think that violence is sometimes justified and necessary, but still shouldn't be celebrated. I don't really think that's what they are doing. I think its an idea, a fear, the vanquishing of the boogie man that they are celebrating. Osama bin Ladin just represents that. Some might be drunk, but I think that for most its genuine joy and relief.

  • Comment removed

  • Yay, 10INTM!!!! The only people I am mourning today are the countless people that have died because of this very bad man. Mourn for the woman he used to shield himself from the Navy Seals. What a rat bastard coward.

  • This is how you give the terrorists around the world the middle finger: you display your solidarity by celebrating when their MVP gets killed. We will not justify Bin Laden's actions by being respectful; we will reinforce the idea that he was an evil man that the world is better without. We danced when Hitler perished, we'll dance now too!

  • Everybody needs to realize what has this changed? ★THERE'S 3 WAR'S STILL GOIN ON★ ★THE US $1 HAS 0 VALUE★ ★CHINA HAS STOP ACCEPTING OUR $ TO PAY OFF LOANS★ ★OBL HAS BEEN STAYING IN A MANSION IN A CITY IN PAKISTAN?★ ★WHAT HAPPEN TO HIM HIDING IN CAVES?★ ★WHY HASN'T THE US CITIZENS SEE HIS FULL BODY★ ★HIS DEATH PICTURE IS A PHOTOSHOP FAKE★ ★THIS HAPPENS AS CONGRESS HAS 9% APPROVAL★ ★THIS HAPPENS WHEN OBAMA HAS 49% DISAPPROVAL★ ★NEWS MEDIA SENDING OUT PROPAGANDA★ ★WAKE UP USA! WE ARE BEING PLAYED★
  • bakuraNoShirts....I like the simple profundity of your statement. Agree X 1,000,000.

  • njhth...again with the conspiracy theories! Do you put aluminum foil over your windows to block aliens frim sucking your brains out? Oh, and you can cite any article you want to, people say some crazy stuff.....just sayin'....

  • Osama Bin Laden HAS BEEN Dead:

1.) Benazir Bhutton said he was dead. (She is now Dead): watch?v=UnychOXj9Tg

2.) Claimed OBL body buried at sea: watch?v=naq-3tQo7Rw

WAKE UP AMERICA WE ARE BEING HAD! JUST LIKE THE 2008 ELECTION! IT IS ALL FRAUD!!

  • I believe that, like it or not, America is entitled to this one. Have we already forgotten the times we saw Islamist crazies celebrating in the streets over their "victories"?

  • @Bobcat665 At least WE got the last dance! And we are NOT celebrating the death of an innocent!

  • Comment removed

  • there's that arrogant america we all know and love!

  • @njhth look at this fucking hipster.

  • who ever dislikes this is a dick

  • I was right there in the thick of it. Nothing violent or belligerent. I was sober and as far as I could tell everyone else around me was too. I had a final today just like a lot of those people. I don't get how so much negativity can come from such a peaceful, joyful experience.

  • njhth....let me guess....conspiracy enthusiast. Bet you're a lot of fun at parties. Do you ever get invited to parties or is the world out to get you? Meds, please!

  • I hope everyone knows that Joe Paterno started this celebration. PENN STATE!

  • Comment removed

  • stefandurr...Nathaniel Fick, a US Marine officer who fought in both Iraq and Afghanistan, writes in his thought-provoking book, "One Bullet Away", that after all the horrors he experienced, he believes thst thete are times when a lesser evil is necessary to stop a larger evil. Those whose hands killed Osama carry a heavy burden.

  • @lucysey Sorry, there is a right way and a wrong way to do anything. People must have the knowledge, wisdom, and intuition to determine if their actions good/justified. It is evil that some demon of a person wants to snag your life in a dark hall, but not if you kill him in retailiation for you survival. This understanding of on-the-scene scenerios is an awakanin phase which all humans should experience.

  • @bringforthtrut WTF are you talking about? An evil has been eliminated from the world...no different than if Hitler was killed.

  • fuck osama, fuck al-Qaida and also FUCK patriotic americans -.-

  • I love how we celebrate america by doing a bunch of things that break american law. makes so much sense to me. Everyone who showed up to this is fucking stupid.

  • @MonkeyMoviesr These people don't understand what they are really celebrating. A new monster is being brewed up. Another false-flag terrorist attack is coming or the New Madrid Fault will cause a major earthquake on the east coast between 5/10-5/20. We beefed up our security for nothing. We are now closer to becoming a total police state. Don't buy into the mainstream media propaganda. This has all been planned by the CIA. Osama has been dead since 2002 from Kidney Failure. The CIA preserved him

  • @njhth Do you have an extra tin-foil hat I can borrow, dude?

  • @njhth That statement doesn't deserve a justified response, but fuck it. May I ask what credible source you are receiving this information from? Or are you pulling this off of some conspirator site/ your own ass?

  • @MonkeyMoviesr The cops were there the whole time. The chief of the police department said they were fine allowing the crowd to move its course without interfering, since we weren't being destructive or dangerous. The people who showed up aren't "fucking stupid," they were feeling extremely strong emotions and they wanted to be together and the best place to do it was in the street. It was a rowdy but peaceful gathering with "law-breaking" about equivalent to an unpaid parking ticket.

  • @shuroshka yeah except for the bon fires and public drunkenness and climbing on street signs and jumping on random pedestrians cars. yeah I see the police on the outside deciding not to intervene because there's 1000s of you idiots. Also sad to note that these kids feel pretty much the same emotions when we win a football game. College kids really have their priorities straight.

  • @MonkeyMoviesr There is no public drunkenness. It was a night before finals...

  • @MonkeyMoviesr there was no public drunkenness. it was the sunday night of finals week. almost every kid in that crowd was dead sober. there were no injuries, no alcohol citations, no destruction. the people on the car got off when its owner asked them to. everyone cooperated with the police.

if you weren't there, you really have no idea what emotion anyone was feeling. 6000 kids coming together to sing the anthem and bounce a beach ball is hardly a violent riot.

    p.s. bonfires are not illegal.

  • @MonkeyMoviesr also, the police didn't decide not to intervene because there were thousands of us. the police chief himself, when asked about breaking the crowd up, said "“It’s just a celebratory situation." i'm pretty sure the cops understood and supported the sentiment.

this was actually one of the tamest gatherings of this size i've ever witnessed. no one pushed, everyone said "excuse me" and helped each other out, and i didn't see a single fight. i've been to rowdier folk concerts.

  • thanks for posting this Lauren...I get chills watching it. I get that foreigners don't understand the sentiment and emotion. How sad for them that they don't know this sort of national pride. We may complain at. timrs about things, but in the end most of us would jump right into the fray to defend this country. Do not forget that people still risk their lives to come here. The most passionate patriots are new citizens.

  • I stood on the lawn of Old Main in September 2001, my junior year, for a candlelight vigil a couple days after the attacks of 9/11, completely heartbroken. What I wouldn't give to be in Beaver Canyon last night celebrating the death of the worst mass murderer in American history. WE ARE PENN STATE!

  • that's one white-ass riot

  • Young ones, don't overthink this moment of rare solidarity and pride, for you may never see it again. I am 58 years old and this is the first time I am experiencing it. Sit back and watch and feel....don't let the moment slide right by you. This is amazing.

  • I WAS THERE probably passin that beach ball #FuckOsama

  • ...and once Hitler was dead the world was infused with renewed passion to squash the Nazis...and they did. The Nazi party began to disintegrate and, but for tiny pockets of skinheads here and there, they have never come back. Osama was a symbol of oppression, genocide, destruction and death. His own death is a powerful message to these radicals that the usa and our allies WILL NOT TOLERATE THE TERRORIZING OF THE FREE WORLD!!Gs

  • This is one of the many moments I don't understand American people. Are they seriously celebrating Osama bin Laden's death and that terrorism is now finally beaten? If you ask me, I think al-Qaeda are going to fuck shit up even more now that you have killed the bastard. Good luck America.

  • @PinkkiNeekeri No one is celebrating the end of terrorism. It's symbolic, and it's also closure. He got what he deserved. I feel bad for you misinformed foreigners who base your stereotypical opinions off of complete bullshit and hate America just so you either fit in or because you want to be a snobby bitch. Get over yourself and your self-righteous country.

  • @laxmanumbathr33th33 I have nothing against the USA and I definitely don't base my opinions so that I'd fit in or want to be 'a snobby bitch'. Friends?

  • @PinkkiNeekeri Friends. Sorry, I just get carried away when people constantly batter the stereotype that all Americans are stupid. I mean yeah, there are some really misinformed and dare I say belligerent people in the states. But I'll be damned if every country has their fare share of those people too, so It really is an unfair and uneducated thing to do in asserting such a thing. Not saying you did assert all of that, but the basic idea of your original comment brought that to light for me.

  • Doesn't*. I'll be damned if every country doesn't have their fare share of those people too" My bad

  • @laxmanumbathr33th33 I can see what you're saying. You're absolutely right. That comment wasn't meant to be disrespectful in any way, so I'm sorry if it came out the wrong way.

  • @PinkkiNeekeri they're celebrating the end of bin laden, not the end of terrorism, or even the end of al-qaeda. bin laden was, for the past decade, the face of terrorism for us americans, and one of our nation's primary goals immediately following the september 11th attacks was to find and neutralize him. well, it took almost 10 years but our country stuck to it and completed that objective, and that is cause for celebration.

  • @usmcpsu66 Fair enough. But I saw some guy from New York getting interviewed on tv and he was going on about how everybody can be safe now as bin Laden and therefore terrorism are defeated. Okay, maybe it was just him. Maybe I'm just generalizing it.

  • @PinkkiNeekeri perhaps, but in line with that the people being interviewed are just regular people, with their own prejudices and color on what they see. what they say cannot be taken at face value, but rather must be looked at along with many other views to provide a broader picture. only then can you begin to say "americans feel this way about a particular topic" instead of "joe smith from yonkers feels this way about a particular topic."

  • @PinkkiNeekeri additionally, one must be careful when using an ad hoc interview to determine even that particular person's views of a subject. being on the spot, and swept up in the crowd as he was, i'm sure his emotions were causing him to express more his feelings than his thoughts. emotion and the stress (or excitement) of being on camera can cause people to over-exaggerate and/or over-simplify their thoughts, especially if they feel they are playing to/feeding off of a crowd.

  • @PinkkiNeekeri ya, terrorism isn't beat just yet, just killed the head, not we will have to kill the rest of the chicken.... I honestly think the war will bet bigger then it is now

  • riot for pussies

  • @mofuckinrambo Less of a riot, more of a celebration. Are you upset that someone's car wasn't set on fire?
