  • Well why don't you look in the bible to help you.

  • I have that computer. Lol.

  • athlon-phenom? lol

  • Hay how are you. I cant believe that you got this computer so cool. I have subscribed to you videos for a while now. I was looking for a computer to buy I found one at Staples and it is the exact model as yours. Wow this must be a sign!!! I got to get this one. The only difference with mine is it has a blueray player but no capture card HD4650 the same. Thanks from Mike from Canada.

  • i know this is an older video so i dont know if you have found the solution to your problem but you can get windows movie maker for windows 7 by downloading the live suite from microsoft which includes messenger movie maker and a couple other programs its 100 percent legal and free

  • Ubuntu Linux is my suggestion

  • get windows 7 and get movie maker off a torrent on piratebay

  • Go to Windows 7. It supports way more than vista, it is much more stable, and all your hardware will work much better with windows 7.

  • Your computer pwns, even more than mines does.

Dude, play abunch of games man... 8gig ram? You pwn.

  • Comment removed

  • Nah, it can affect games. If a game is using more memory than you have on your ram, it starts drawing from virtual memory from your hard drive, which is slow as crap. I have problems with my lowly 1gb ram in games quite often.

  • im curious how much did you buy the tower for and mouse/keyboard? for, because i found this same computer just the tower though for 569 and just want to compair. Thanks this vid helped me out a lot.:)

  • movie sftware get pinnacle 12

  • I've been debating on either getting this OR HP - Pavilion Desktop with AMD Phenom™ II X4 Quad-Core Processor

    Model: p6230y

And I finally made up my mind and decided to get the Gateway, a lot coming from you saying you could run Crysis on the highest settings. Planning on playing world of warcraft on it and would like to know if you or anyone reading this comment would reccomend this computer for such use. Thank you.

And thank you jezuzfreek777 for uploading such an informative video :D

  • play world of warcraft and stop making videos.. haha

    troll attack : )

  • Clearly you have lot of time on your hands.

  • Build your own

  • I don't have the option to build my own considering i refuse to buy parts over the internet, also my area doesn't have any stores or anything that would sell the hardware and software i need.

  • Upgrade to Windows 7.

I am running it right now and it seems to be much better than the Vista I had.

If you can't get the movie editor just research some freeware that is out there and I'm sure you can find something.

  • Pinnacle is a good editor. If you have the money, you should get Vegas. It's supposed to be the best (I agree) editing software.

  • Im running Windows Movie Maker on Windows 7. You just have to load it on. Windows 7 is better than Vista.

  • Windows 7 looks a lot better than Vista. However, I am still using XP.

  • why dont u read the bible? I thought it had answers for everything?

  • Good job showing off you hypocritical fuck.

  • He needed an excuse, after all he can afford his healthcare remember?

I got a new computer, but I want to show you I;m just as needy as everyone else out there.

More to the point he's just showing how dumb he his.

  • you sound bitter.

  • Hmm this is odd, you deleted your own comment about manuals, oh well, Guess I proved you wrong.

Still, the rude, childejh comment you made only proved that you are as ever unchristian. Quck to anger and quick to judge, everything you were told in the bible not to be

  • Quick to judge, quick to anger

in short, you're no Christian even in the loosest sense

  • They have the itch without relief ;)

  • he jealous of your big hard drive JF. Get modern warfare 2

  • lol

  • Oh and in response to your deleted comment about a preloaded manual. The computer always comes with a paper manual too, just in case your computer doesn't start up or crap like that.

Still, as you said, I'm an idiot who reads a book from time to time, comes as no surprise that you don't. The only one coming across as bitter with your commentary is you.

Seeing threats where there are none, trolls in the giving of facts and correcting your misinformation, deleting bible quotes you don't like

  • i got rid of the crappy wireless card, power supply that doesnt meet the gpu requirements, and upgraded to a nvidia gtx 275 . only regret is that i can't have my tv tuner...

  • Comment removed

  • Running Windows 7 at the moment, its more than worth the upgrade and you can get Windows Live Movie Maker for free

    download. live. com/ moviemaker

  • I got some advice for you

    Read a manual you jerk

  • Did you get a manual with your computer???

Man I never get those with my computers....

  • Yes. It comes in those annoying plastic bags at the bottom of your box with the warrantee, the backup disks, the drivers a guide and something called... lets take a look at my back up junk here.. oh yes, a "manual"

  • OMG why did you buy a new computer? Have fath and pray that god will fix your science based technology

  • Hey JF... i just want you to know im getting very bored with your vids and i am un-subscribing to your chanel this very momenT

  • Team Fortress 2

  • Battlefield 2...Jesus it's been a long time since I played that game.

  • Jezuzfreek777, porn tends to slow your computer down after awhile :) Joking, I can't make that call as I don't know you in person. You could have fixed the old one without that much trouble, but grats on the new PC. Can't beat a fresh start. Best wishes.

  • Vista for now, 7 later. get Avast anti-virus. as for games: Bioshock Left4Dead Mirror's Edge (not really FPS but at least check it out). Dead Island (when it comes out, zombies on an island, gogogo) Modern Warfare 2 (when it comes out) you can look on gamestop for more suggestions. the new PC looks sweet. God bless.
  • Windows 7 is the way to go for dudes like you with those quad cores which the os can utilize. I would like to see a video on which bible software package you prefer, if you use one. God Bless

  • I would stick with Vista at least until the middle of next year which will allow Microsoft enough time to fix the thousands of security holes and bugs that each Windows version always brings. Plus it will give the game industry time to release a Windows 7 version of their software rather than just a patch to run on Windows 7.

  • I agree. Any new release of a Windows product, especially an OS, is going to be rife with bugs, the majority of which will be security breaches. It usually takes at least a couple of service packs before the OS stabilizes enough to prevent operator madness. The other disadvantage is that whatever applications are initially available will be buggy as well. They are usually built upon advanced and beta copies of the OS and often have problems with their interfaces.

  • My advice - throw your computer in the garbage and don't bother buying a new one. Stop making videos. You're embarrassing yourself and someday your children are going to resent you for being one of the most mocked people on the internet.

I know, I know, you're preaching "the truth." No, you're just revealing yourself to be an uneducated bigot who lacks even the most basic critical thinking skills.

Do yourself and your family a favor and give it up already.

  • Could u possibly do an indepth review of ur new PC?

  • OMG thank god i stumbled upon this video......i'm getting the same exact Gateway PC. Cheap Price, Great Power! all for 799$

  • I don't really feel like taking the effort to help so I'm just going to pray that God decides to help you out.

    heh

I'm not sure how you're "too cheap" to buy a program while simultaneously being "too cheap" to buy a $1k+ rig. If you were "too cheap" you would have built your own computer that would outperform that Gateway and cost a lot less.

  • you are dead wrong. The entire rig was 799.00

I can not buy all the parts including operating system for much less than that price.

If I cannibalized my old pc power supply and a few other things i could have shaved the price down but I don't want to build a pc with a 5 year old power supply.

Keep in mind the 799.00 price included a 20" widescreen Hd monitor, speakers remote control keyboard and optical mouse.

  • Pm me I will Help you out it is a easy Fix. I do this for a living! !

  • And God says, who are you? You're a stranger to me, sorry your on your own dorado221. Oh and btw be sure and enjoy the rest of the life I gave you because after thats up, its all your gonna have!

    Heh

This fiction stuff is fun, innit?

  • havock: I know! This fiction stuff is fun to talk about!

After taking a look at your profile, I noticed that you appear to be heavily religious. I find that funny due to how you essentially called your god make-believe, stated that I will have no afterlife (funny because I thought my "blasphemy" would send me to hell as per your religion) and stated that god doesn't know me despite being my maker as per your religion

your sky daddy would have a basic understanding of the english language btw

  • But thats just it, whatever god you are talking about its not my god or his god. I dont recongnise a single thing you have said.

I dont have a sky daddy. More fiction from the moral moron, eh? You should have a basic understanding of common decency, but you dont seem to.

As for the real hell - you are there already in part. The party is going on and you dont want to be a part of it.

  • havock89:

    So you're atheist?

  • Maybe your computer turned atheist on you

  • keep vista until they come out with a few updates for 7 that will work the bugs out

  • Virus filters? Factory Resets? BAH!!

Good things happen to Christians, bad things happen to non-Christians. You must no longer be Christian hard enough. Pray like you've got a major case of constipation, and your computer will be fine.

  • man i have the same computer and is working fine .. no problems with it.... the only bad thing is the monitor cuz i already change it 3 times cuz the stupid DEAD PIXELS and i still have a stuck pixel on my new monitor.... but i really like this pc except for the monitor.

  • i would totally play combat arms or crossfire with you. there both free and awesome

  • Not keen on quad core.

I have it and i much prefer 2 core. 2 core seemed to run faster. Not as many processers but they are faster by default.

  • Set up the coumpter to dual boot onto Ubuntu and then install cinelerra or kino both are free and work very well.

  • nice vid

  • Buy an Apple

  • Exactly.

  • Hey anthony check it out

    defrag it

    used AVG and malwarebytes

    should fix both

    peace

  • Try Dirt. That is a good game, or Team Fortress2.

    -Domingo0022

  • Some good advice?

Get a mybook and back it up!

  • Jezuzfreek777, do you play Counter Strike: Source? I'd play you sometime.

  • I'd look for sony vegas 7 or 8 on ebay. you're looking at $50-$150 price range.

the interface is simple, and the software can give you some very shiny effects.

  • abandon windows.

    get linux

  • As far as games go, you might want to try Left 4 Dead, it's a zombie first-person shooter. I guess you could call the zombies evil. Solid game, with a major emphasis on teamwork. You cannot survive without your team/friends and vice-versa. It revolves around the sharing of items such as pain-pills and first-aid kits to get through the levels, kinda like Battlefield.

  • registryfix

    ccleaner

  • hmmm... did you try praying? i bet if you prayed for your computer to run flawlessly it would have. i don't know why you went and bought a new one, when you could have just prayed for god to fix it. i mean... he is ALL powerful. something like this should be a cake-walk for him...

  • Comment removed

  • I have been using a 7 betabuild for the paste few months. It is stable and have been using it with pretty much everything. Little to no hardware conflicts. Coming from Vista or XP you shouldn't have too much of a problem getting use to it. You can always dual boot with Vista and 7 if you really cant find a free movie editing software. CoD4 is great if you are into FPS. Aion just came out, if you are into the MMORPGS. Cool Setup, grats on the new purchase.

  • Nice rig, I love Battlefield 2 as well. remember that guy that ran You over with a jeep? IT WAS ME!!!!!!!! lol Game on!

  • get a dell quad core, only like 500 or 600 bucks and the performance is amazing

  • when pc get laggy its because of the RAM..when RAM get old it stops working so pc's get laggy xD soo you get new ram or a new and better pc and yeah W7 is the best i have the full version of W7 and its goooood 1000 times better then vista..GAME good vs bad GEARS OF WAR its for you xP GOD BLESS

  • You can actually download movie maker for windows 7 (if nobody else has told you that already) so you should most definitely upgrade to windows 7.

  • Yeah well if you really want good stuff you build it yourself. For the 800 bucks you paid you would've got a much faster pc. But you'l have to trade in the service as well. It has both it's ups and downs.

  • Hey JF777, Google:

    movie maker windows 7

    First result. :)

  • your a troll go away little man.

  • WARROCK!! =D

  • Gateways are TERRIBLE.

  • yeah so are hps and so are emachines and so are acers and so are every other brand out there.............. everyone has a horror story.

I have had compaqs and hps in the past with no bad luck but everyone had to tell me how much those suck. I have had no bad pc yet.

  • I'm not talking horror stories, I'm talking average customer satisfaction, and price to component ratio.

The best way of buying a computer is to buy the parts seperately, you get the same thing (or better) for cheaper, for maybe half an hour of work.

Gateway, Dell, even mac does the same thing, except they package them in brand-name cases and slap an extra 300 dollars on the pricetag.

If you buy a brand name computer you got ripped off, no matter what brand.

  • Seriously dude.....I just wanna know how long it took for someone to suggest halo? Its so right up your alley

  • You might want to drop $15-$20 and pick up a copy of Joint Operations Typhoon Rising. A game of 40 players is pretty good, but if you get on a server with 100 to 120 players, the noise, explosions, and just pure chaos makes you feel like you're in a real war. It gets just crazy. I haven't played in a year because my cd key was banned but when I did play, the game settings were at about half on my PC and it was really sweet. I may have to buy another CD. (Don't bother with expansion packs)

  • That's an awesome PC.

  • i think is coo bro, how ur a good christian and u arent completly locked down to it. meaning, at least in this case, u feel is not bad to play a game n stuff, wich si coo cuz lets me kno if i hav free time later in my life, it wudnt be too shabby now that i look @ it to do my fav hobby.

no recomm's tho. dont know if the vista u have is exactly great, i think vista is truly crap compared to XP, but if anything. i'd really go to 7 cuz vista i feel is crap

    so yea

  • Oh forgot to mention...you have one kickass PC there JF!

  • Yes. Upgrade to Windows 7!!! I used the beta and it was amazing!! As for windows movie maker, Windows Live has a really cool version of Windows movie maker. And for the games...im an old school gamer :P SNES FTW

  • Is JF one of those christians that believe the bible word for word? even the stuff about the dude living in a fish???????????

  • Get Windows 7.

There IS Movie Maker - I'm in it right now in 7, and it is in fact better than Vista's movie maker. Windows 7 supports Direct X 11, meaning - better graphics for games.

Windows 7 also has Windows XP mode, which is FREE, and you can switch into Windows XP in a virtual window without having to do anything else in a matter of seconds.

Windows 7 is proven in tests to be faster than Vista. It is the finished "Windows Vista".

++ You got 8GB of Ram. Get 7!! Just make sure it's 64-bit

  • The new Windows Live Movie Maker is so stripped down it's not even funny.

His CPU has support hardware virtualization for it to be able to use XP Mode.

  • you can just install windows movie maker

  • A great free game is Americas Army 3. Just came out not too long ago. Its good verses bad, it was actually made by the army. I've always loved realistic games so AA3 is good if you like realism. Call of Duty is always fun as well. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is coming out later this year. I would upgrade to Windows 7 but unfortunate I don't know about the whole movie maker thing.

  • Call a priest you need to exorcise your pc. DEMONS HAVE TAKEN IT OVER!!!! Deus ex machina, literally!!!

And if you have spyware issues you need to stop getting so much porn on the internet.

  • upgrade and yes it has a move maker and i have a and vista suck

  • I wish I could help you brother but it sounds like you got more of an internal issue if anything, the equipment you presented ought to be able to handle lesser tasks without lagging.

Maybe virus or programs that conflict?

  • Just pray, TheAmazingBeliever got his youtube account back that way, im sure it'l help you as well.

Get back to me on how that goes.

  • dude you play fallout 3, thats one awesome game.

  • keep the windows version that you use, cause when a new version comes it's always a lot of buggs in it.

  • Get a Mac my friend. + There is no such thing as god.

  • Halo3 ODST is a great online game Anthony.

  • Hey dude, Arma 2 seems pretty good if you also like battlefield simulations, its a system hogger but yours seems more than enough to play it on decent settings :)

  • call of duty modern warfare

  • battkefield 3 you mean comes out in 2010 ,yeah thats the best . and i really like that you as a cristian like shooters aswell like me . lol good very good i can advise bf3 , operation flashpoint , bad company 2 tombraider crysis 2 doom is a old game ,but very fun if you like slaying demons that is. streetfighter 4 burnout and need for speed
  • I was recently looking for a good movie making program. I tried many but Cyberlink powerdirector seems to be the easiest, very user friendly, has a bunch of effects but does not eat alot of memory and does not take alot of space to install. Check that out. I recommend it.

  • lol JF you can download and install Windows Movie Maker From Microsoft.

  • Wow you bought some expansive stuff..

  • Got the whole rig goin bro nice

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is going to be insane (comes out march 2010)

While you're waiting id look at Bioshock, Farcry 2 , Crysis, Call of Duty, Empire: Total War, shit like that

  • If you have 4 gigs of ram definitely go with Windows 7 64 bit. As for games I'm not a PC gamer, and I don't know about movie editing.

  • Halo 3 is awsome

  • windows 7 it comes with windows movie maker i beta tested and even used the rc version of it i think windows movie maker on windows 7 is better than vista and xp overall.

  • You got your self a very nice mainstream-gaming pc. There are a lot of games that I can recommend you:

    Far cry 2

call of duty 6 (coming in november)

    crysis warhead

BF: Bad company 2 (still coming)

Bioshock (one of the best games ever made)

If you like stealth, you can try the splinter cell games or wait for the new one.

Windows 7 uses half the ram. Vista is not so crappy a people say. On some pc's its crap because it uses al ram. Since you got 8gig, you dont need to worry.

  • Windows Vista was crappy when it first came out, but over the course of 2 service packs, it got better, but MS even admitted that Vista wasn't the OS they wanted it or expected it to be.

  • windows 7

  • Upgrade to windows 7, i think u can download moviemaker from microsoft.

Mass Effect is quite good, you might enjoy Oblivion too.

  • alright man, now upgrade it to windows 7. it's a hell of a lot better than vista. ;)

  • Why should jesuzfreek spend more money on an iMac that dual boots with Windows when he doesn't want to use OS X? It's like buying a pencil with an eraser attached to it and using only the eraser.

  • Nice analogy, I agree, that's why I won't get one, and if I did, I would run Windows natively, you should hear Apple fans when I say that, they say it's blasphemy, and I say no, it's run Windows on a computer, because I wouldn't use OS X at all, maybe the iSight camera, but then again Windows prolly supports it, either the exact camera, or a generic webcam driver, so again I would use Windows anyway, lol.

  • Again, dollar for dollar you aren't spending more money.

And not wanting to use osx? That's like saying you own a pinto so why drive the Ferrari in your driveway. You winblows nuts crack me up defending garbage when u know it's garbage.

  • One other thing, today's gaming systems such as the xbox 360 are more than adequate for gaming. No fuss, no muss. When you pop in a PC game and have to fart around with the settings because it doesn't run properly it takes all the fun out.

  • That's because a game console is built for games, and it's a completely different system, it operates different.

  • Exactly. Game consoles are advanced enough without going thru the headaches of computer gaming.

  • They aren't anymore advanced than a computer, they operate differently, they aren't made to boot an operating system, or run an operating system like a computer, you are comparing apples and oranges.

  • Never said they were. A person wants to play games my opinion today is to buy a gaming system and not use a computer.

  • Well, some people don't want to buy several $200-$300 consoles to play a game, especially if they already have a means to play a version of it, I prefer PC games, which are getting just as good in quality if not at quality with console games, take Crysis for example, excellent detail for a PC game.

  • So they would rather buy a 600 plus dollar PC to run games, and a very limited library of games to boot? No doubt that computers will surpass the graphic quality of consoles but as time marches on in order to take advantage of this people need to buy more memory, better graphics cards etc. And then what happens? As updates come older games won't play anymore. $200 for an Xbox 360 is an incredible deal.

  • Well some games you can't get on a game console, like most of the games I play are PC games, except for Star Trek Legacy, which is made for the 360, but I don't have the money to purchase a 360 then and right now, so I just opted to get the PC version.

Well, I am a PC gamer, period, I hardly ever play on a game console.

  • I would rather pay for a computer that will play current games, and games to come, instead of having to buy a new console everytime, my computer is from late 90's early 2000's, a Pentium 4, and I run Windows 7, and play Crysis, and not everyone plays console games.

  • To each his own. I was a HUGE PC gamer at one time. My rig is still advanced enough to play the latest games. That said, I also had so many headaches trying to run games in widescreen, tweaking .ini files and all sorts of stuff to get games to run and run on certain TV monitors etc. Then there is the whole Joystick problem. Joysticks are HORRIBLE on a PC. Now for FPS I like mouse and keyboard but other games just don't cut it.

  • I never had any problems with games, I set the game to my monitor resolution, and I was off, and playing.

  • Nowadays most games have built in settings for widescreen resolutions however when I was playing a lot of games did not have this by default and the ini files had to have edits made to them to get certain games to run in widescreen. I also connected my PC to a TV monitor and games like Battlefield 2 would simply crash unless it was connected to an actual computer monitor. I could never figure out why this was and it was kind of the final straw for me.

  • go win 7, your camera software should work with it as well and there is windows live movie making software that is free.

  • windows 7 m8, I have got windows 7 rc at the moment, it is loads quicker, and easier to use. i can't help you on the movie software, but the windows movie maker is pants compared to most movie makers, so i would def upgrade

  • Operation Flashpoint Drago Rising

Upcomming tactical shooter etc war simulator.

  • Another favorite for me is fighter ace, its massive online too only fighter planes tho its at fighterace dott comm I think it is. Fun fighter plane battles.

And Star Wars the old republic massive online game is coming out sometime this year or early next, they just started beta testing. looks really cool.

  • Try worldwar II online at WWIIonline dott comm

kinda slow, big world map but the battles are fun. Infantry, air and ship all at once in massive online game.

Tribes 2 is a old favorite u can download and play for free now off the internet. I think Gog dott comm has it as well as a lot of good favorites that are now dirt cheap and downloadable from there, like 5 bucks a game and u own it.

  • Get windows Seven I have The RC version and it works with my 6 year old computer. By teh way my computer is actually the one you just got rid of. Why wouldn't you want free movie maker?

  • get COunter Strike Source

  • Ive had that problem before man, its the modem.

Get a new modem and replace the filters on the phone jack.

  • Its happened to me a few times the optic cable gets clogged or some crap like that.

Happens everytime I get a new online game. Works fine once I replace the modem and the wires/filters for the modem.

  • argh you should have gotten the intel core i7 or the i5 with windows 7. Windows 7 is way way better than vista. Its like what vista should have been. As for video editing, i think you can get some open source options out there like Pitivi or virtualdub or Kaltura etc.

  • I suggest you get The Orange Box, especially if you've never played any of the Half-Life games. They're not brand-new games, but classic. In the collection comes Half-Life 2, HL2 Episode 1, HL2 Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2. Portal's a really fun quick-to-beat first-person puzzle game, and Team Fortress 2 is an online class-based multiplayer FPS with a bunch of cool game styles.

  • Oh and I think it's only like $30 to get now, good deal for 5 games.

  • Jezuzfreek I suggest getting Modern Warfare 2!

  • Old computer might have been a slow hard drive death, replacing it might bring it back to life.

    Nice new computer man

As for Windows 7 - I hear that there is a download from Microsoft through the windows Live! services. you might want to check that out. I hear it works both with vista and 7.

As far as games go, just look for some DX10 games - Not many out yet, but they look sweet. Have fun :)

  • You may argue that Windows is less secure, less user friendly and less stable than other OSes like Mac OS X and GNU/Linux distributions, but whether you like it or not, we'd all have to agree that Windows definitely supports more games(natively) than any other OS.

  • World of Warcraft!

  • Aion

mmorpg but you'll love it. I'm playing right now and it's just awesome

and really no mmorpg really made me interested to play it so long continusly

for fps; I recommend CrossFire or A.V.A

but A.V.A just finished closed beta so you need to wait for few weeks

  • Jezuzfreak, your vids are amazing htei emidn me of your daughter

  • NIce to hear you enjoy online gaming. If you like cod4/5 drop me a pm and we'll go online.

  • Ahh... Computer/Games... Where Atheism and Christians come together? :D

I'm using Sony Vegas Pro 9 for editing, its cool.

"Out with the old, in with the Quad-core new." ;)

  • Nice PC. I recommend that you have an External hard drive at all times to back up your data.

  • I am amazed, 8gb of RAM, and 1TB of hard drive.. You must have some nice money jezuzfreek. I'm impressed

  • Very easy choise, i run Windows 7 on my computer, i hated vista, i were sceptic about Windows 7 so i sticked with XP until a few months ago, when Microsoft offered Free version of Windows 7 BETA and i have to say, I LOVE IT! so yes, you should absolutely get Windows 7

  • Getting anything with a 1 TB hard drive is just asking for trouble, i.e. Hard Disk Failure

Look up the reviews for all of the 1TB internal hard drives on New Egg.

  • Great vid Jezuzfreek, as always. Well i really would recommend Call of Duty 4 for the pc, its a great game. It won game of the year, its a shooter game, but its really fun ONLINE. You will love it.

    God bless

  • Combat Arms is a fun fps totally free, great graphics great game play bunch of different game modes.

  • I agree with MrTh1rteen.

Runescape is the game :) Not the best graphics (well not bad on highest settings) but loads of things to do. It's not a shooter though.

Shooter games I would recommend older titles such as Duke Nukem 3D (gotta have at least played it once), the Quake series, Unreal Tournament series. Battlefield games are ok too though.

As for the OS I would personally downgrade to XP rather than upgrade to Windows 7. Just to save ressources and run on a overall very stable OS.

  • Actually Windows 7 takes up less resources than Windows XP, my computer runs a lot better than it ever did with XP.

Also, it't not recommended as XP may not have support for some of his hardware components, since they are new products, XP 32bit's support ends 2014, XP 64bit support has already ended.

  • Sorry, no suggestions here (I'm not a techo-knowledge person), but I DO want to say that it was really cool seeing the rest of the room! :D

  • Have you ever considered asking your audience for donations? Perhaps you'd be able to raise enough to afford a better software package?

  • First off on your first question Definitly upgrade to Win7. I'm running the Release candidate distributed by Microsoft right now and it's like vista without the...vista... on top of that when you install 7 it keeps ALL your programs installed from your previous setup.

2ndly I'd like to say that your setup is awesome, AMD ATI has always been my way to go, (phenom ftw). just complimenting.

Not sure w/ Vid software out there. Sry. Google it?

    Games - (can't wait 4 the laughs) -

    Runescape!

  • Get a mac. You can run windows off of it and ween yourself off of the train wreck that is Windows.

  • It's kind of late to say that now, he has already bought a brand new computer.

  • It's never too late to buy a Mac. :)

  • if i want to pay 3 times what I should then i will certainly buy a mac.

  • 3 times what you "should"? After you are done buying all the software, a webcam, antivirus etc and then buying a comparable PC and comparing it's resale value it's hardly "3" times the amount. And on top of that Mac OS is far more stable and reliable than Windows. It's like you bought a Chevy Nova and insult a Mercedes for costing more. There is no "should". You spend what you want. You can eat at Mcdonalds or a nice steak house. You bought a Big Mac.
