  • @pklifter Intel vPro Technology is a set of enhancements to computer hardware, that among other things, allows you to manage PC's independently from the OS or other software. This demo utilizes vPro capabilities(power control, force boot & IDE redirection) along with SCCM's OS deployment capabilities to enhance OS delivery. You need to have a computer with Intel vPro Technology built into it to make use of what is in the video.

  • what is intel vpro? isnt this all using sccm? If i install SCCM what features do i need to install to be able to deploy a OS>?

  • IDE Redirct is does not support graphics, how are you going to click next on the graphical portion of the OSD wizard.

  • @egroegchurchill There's a couple of approaches you can take in this case. If you are using a system with AMT 6.0 support you could use the hardware based KVM remote control functionality to access the system remotely and click the button.

The other approach would be to use MDT along with SCCM to create a zero-touch boot image.

  • This is fantastic. Thanks for the informative video Dan.
