  • i have the star traveler!

  • what? here's the FAKE barbie motor home? @ 0:02-0:4.......

  • @aya78473 yes it is read the label GOSH! its not 1979

  • its a mobile kitchen....lol

  • Did she just push Barbie off the table? Lol

  • this is when barbie was innocent

  • Features not mentioned include shag carpeting and a disco ball.

  • The beautiful Judy Strangis, who played "Helen Loomis" on "Room 222" . . . I had a big crush on this lady around 1971. I prefer her "Malibu Barbie Catamaran" ad from the early '70s where you actually get to see Judy in a bikini (yum!).

  • @elc1960 Yes. I do remember it. It was broadcast in 1975. Judy's bikini was bright yellow. It was quite strange because watching Judy was far more interesting than the advertised Barbie accessory. This commercial backfired because people paid attention for the wrong reasons. I was surprised that Mattel permitted this commercial to be broadcast during children's programming.

  • @hobokenplayboy Judy did a series of car commercials in the '70s where she wore t-shirts and cutoff short shorts . . . sorry, just having a flashback to being a horny 12 and 13 year old in 1972 and '73 lusting after Judy Strangis. The car ads were for either Chevy or Dodge, I don't recall which one.

  • 1976...not 1979.

  • @KinnyBlitz ikr

  • Well, at least Skipper's not ruining her social life in this one...

  • Why would Barbie want to live in a Camper when she has like 10 000 dream houses!?!?!

  • I wanted one of these so bad :(....

  • This camper and the Barbie Dream House were my all time favorite Barbie toys. We had the red and yellow version of the Dream House. It came with all the furniture. Those were the days....

  • Looks like this motorhome had more features than the motorhome of the early 1990s

  • Dont you mean 1976..? Lol. Nice commercial, tho.

  • I think this was the camper that my Granny had bought for Christmas and hid it in the back of her closet...I thought I was going to get it...It went to my cousin instead...

  • i want one! it looks like fun :D

  • I love old 16mm film prints.

  • lmao why did they add fake to the description

  • cute!!!

  • I always wanted one of those! Even when it was redone as a Barbie and the Rockers tour van with the radio, I wanted it...and never got it. :( Of course, there's a NEW fold-out camper being released this year, but it's not as good as that one!!!!

  • Was that Barbara Eden from I Dream of Jeanie?

  • No, that's Judy Stranglis of Electra-Woman and Dyna-Girl fame.

  • 0:23 she pushed the darned thing off of a table!

  • OMG!!! I was thinking the same thing too! LOL!!! You are too funny!
