If there weren't musicians like Psyopus, bending what we see and understand as music, then we would have still been stuck in the "stone age" with vocaless instrumentals of orchestras. Listen to Jimi Hendrix's National Anthem from Woodstock '69; of coarse he was high, and what he was playing didn't make complete sense, but he had his heart & soul in it and it was marked as a historical event in rock & roll. He bent the rules of what we knew of as "Music". Psyopus will be historical as well.

But I don't really consider this band mathcore, if you want a better example look at Converge or The Dillinger Escape Plan. If you play some sort of instrument, just look up the tab to any of their songs, and you'll understand why it's called MATHcore :D
