I don't know, my dad was searching many religions trying to find some meaning during his lifetime and in the end before he died he told me that the Australian aboriginal dream time was what he found most meaningful.
absofukkinlutely essential listening. anyone into anything remotely as original as this that they woudn't mind sharing? I'll start with combat astronomy and gnaw their tongues.
and damn it, It would be great if they hired Skoll again, he's the Maestro bassist of northern avantgarde, played in ulver, buens ende, arcturus... i still remember his lines in written in waters.... a poet of five strings
Not aware of an Aussie band as good. If in Sydney, check out Mother Eel playing in Newtown on Saturday night. Nothing like Virus, but our sing does vocals and electronic noise for them, in robes, with a nail muzzle microphone tied to his face and a crotch mounted joystick controller to process vocals and noise. We are biased, but it will be awesome.
@LucasDarklord Haha.. R u from Mother Eel? I played at the Landsdowne the same night as Mother Eel played there one time. The drummer gave me free CD's.
Bit different to this though... that night Mother Eel opened with some fuckin' heavy cool doom sounding stuff, then showed their grind core shine...:-P
@LucasDarklord I was a session drummer for Penny Coco... I think the first band in the early evening... lol how funny a situation....especially if you know what style of music Penny Coco is....lol.....what a classic, fuckin' small world!!!!!
Anyway, I worship the guys in this band..... i'm guessing you know Ved Buens Ende?
@1blackaura This band is from Norway NOT Australia. They were formerly known as Ved Buens Ende which means Rainbow's End in Norwegian. They're one of the great progressive Black Metal bands. Some of the members also played in Aura Noir.

immortalx50,
it's not strange it sounds like Ved Buens Ende, since Virus is the continuation of that band ;)
