@m7marshall7 Well i'm a guy so I don't wear foundation but i'm pretty sure it will be prone to getting dirt smudges on it easily... however since it is made out of leather or pleather you will be able to clean it pretty easily. also you can take the ear cups out making it easier to clean.

@annieAAH to be honest I really love the beats studios but everyone seems to hate them especially audio maniacs. these are really good but they lack a microphone so you can't talk to anyone and the mic that it comes with is only for mobile phones so if you don't care about the mic i would choose these.

@epictechtips Audio geeks hate the Beats so much because the Beats are a rip off for your money. You can actually get the same audio quality from a pair of $50 headphones believe it or not. There is also a plethora of scientific proof that any of the Beats headphones can be bested by headphones that cost much less. My $50 Sennheiser HD238's (which is one of Sennheiser's low-end headphones) sound much better than the Studios and can also be proven.

They have better bass and midrange frequency reproduction than the Studios and it's backed with many sources and audio tests. The Solos and Studio's have horrendous bass reproduction and the Studios have an early bass roll-off compared to the Solos.

If you look at their midrange and bass reproduction audio tests, the HD238's DESTROY BOTH the Beats Solo and Studios. You're right, the sound quality of the Solo's and the Studio's don't even come close to touching that of the HD238's and yet the HD238's are cheaper and have a similar sound signature.

i got the purple ones! just to clear some things up, the inner box for me was purple so i guess all the colored beats studio have their own colored boxes :)

and for the wires, there's always a black one with a mic, and the tips will be red.

the second wire will be the color of the padding of the beats (white for purple and green, black for the rest) and with a trim of the beat's color at the edge of the cable
