  • i watched the whole thing O_O

  • wow, Google is going to resolve the Arab-Israeli conflict - and at the same time, they think that poor performance in U.S. ghetto schools is a matter of improper teaching, not of ghetto culture.

They also apparently believe that U.S. kids eat healthy, because Sesame Street taught them to do so.

What unbounded naive hubris. Maybe for starters they should do a websearch on -> U.S. obesity children

And oh yeah, some 'All Hail Obama' is subtly thrown into the presentations, too.

  • let me summarize this: blah blah blah

  • damm! i can't upload more of 10 minutes or hd... abusive!

(mmm i think in other topic)

  • AWESOME!! XD GOOGLE ROKS THE MOOGLE

  • gay

  • Uh oh... DAY 1 :P

    No offense Google =)

  • It Take A Many Time To Upload ???

  • This video keeps being in my subscribtion box! It's so annoying..

  • Very interesting, I've taken online classes and love it! BTW, I have no problem watching something good on youtube for 1:44:56 like this but will click away from 90 percent of the junk on youtube in a heartbeat!

  • Yeah, I must have watched about a thousand of these hour-long internet-video lectures, and I probably learned more from them than I did in much of formal schooling.

  • 1:44:56 :O

forget it!! I'm not gonna watch.

Seriously, Why cant they put up a webpage and upload presentations.

funnything is its a talk on "Breakthrough Learning in a Digital Age" but they aren't following it.

  • my dsl is very slow ...

  • how do you unsiscribe o someone

  • this vid was uploaded 6.3 secs ago and it havs 1,122 views !

  • It was uploaded on November 12, 2009. Either you were looking at a different video or there's an error when youtube computes that time.

  • I computed one chinese video that received 175,000 visits (stupid one by the way) en 30 seconds after posted. I presented to my computer class and visited one with only 3 visits (very interesting mexican one) and recorded only 8 visits out of 28 students in the experiment. We agree that YouTube was sort of playing around in favor of Chinese and low class videos. But that is for them to do whatever they want. In the long run is for free.

  • People are commenting 1 hr 44 min forget it.........but they will pay 10 bucks to watch a crappy movie LOL.

  • Its a conference about using digital media for education.

...And they couldn't even manage putting up a web page with some text describing what was said, so you don't have to sit through the whole thing to find out if it contains any new information.

    Pathetic!

They could at least have but up a real down loadable video so you can skip and fast forward in a regular player instead of this youtube adobe flash shit.

    Again; pathetic!

The world is getting more clumsy obtuse and stupid by the day.

  • oh...1 hour video

i think i will not watch the end

  • Sesame Street was the best show when I was a kid!

  • how awsome i exit this video and saw many more , and use other sites, then i click again on this video and it started from where i left off,,,,

  • this intro , made me feel like if were in the future,

  • can i see the trailer plz

  • Dauerficka is a trolllll!!

  • ouch! i was going to watch this but then saw it was 2 hours long -.-'

  • you KNOW GOOGLE OWNS YOUTUBE

aLSO YOU CAN POST VIDEOS OVER 10 MIN

    yOU JUST HAVE TO PAY

  • Making a fool of yourself, kid.

    This is Google's official channel.

    Google owns Youtube.

You can post movies over 10 minutes if you meet the requirements.

  • it's not illegal even if it was not allowed it would be a terms of use violation(but it's not)

and even if it was illegal who the hell do you think you are saying you will sue google you have no right to. if anyhting google 9the owner of youtube) would sue google (the youtube user)

    you fail

  • You really are kinda stupid.. Many people upload videos longer than 10 mins..

  • who are you? you reported this video? every one in the google office are going to be laughing at you!

  • that wouldn't make any sense. . . and plus i don't think flagging would work on this video. Google bought Youtube from the the creators a while now

  • look at how the men always look straight forward or away from each other, but the women always look at the speaker.

    Hahaha so hillarious.

  • is there somewhere where i can read what is said in the video. my mbs is low.

  • @1:29:00 Thanks audience member John. I was enjoying the productive discussion about innovation in education and you pointed out that there are not enough racial minorities on the panel. I didn't even notice that. I guess I was blinded by the content of their character. Thanks for pointing it out and diverting the discussion away from the real point.

  • Agreed

  • @ 1:05:14 Bravo Joel Klein! Data driven decision making in education. Revolutionary...

  • @16:36 Please, please take politics out of your premise. Education is about education, not advancing a particular political agenda. We have tried the "education is a tool for politics". Talk to the 76% that drop out in Detroit... they may know something about it.

  • It's a shame that so many people do not yet realize how much Google has done and continues to attempt to do to improve the world for all of us. I honestly feel that Google is the only company out there (that I know of) that actually looks out for the consumer/user, rather than just collecting as much money as possible from them. Google you have my respect.

  • they even make stuff open source

me like open source lol :P but your point is good to c:

  • Agreed. Google wants to make people's life easier.
