Thanks for the video. There's nothing more fun than NQ/QW CTF. Too bad it died so quickly.. I, too, miss it. The Dutch scene used to be quite good with clans like VVV, UcF, EC and DCS. Great times. I was such a fan (nerd) that I wrote clanwar dates in my school agenda.

Anyone else laugh themselves into stitches when playing this? Cappin' ass and getting gibbed. Q1 CTF was the good life. After all these years, I don't need a stink'n GPS because I can recall real maps in my head from all the FPS games I used to hit up.

talking of bot mods, heard of Epic Games' lead AI programmer, Steve Polge? Before he joined Epic there was that mod that he made for Quake, called ReaperBots, which is what attracted Epic's attention towards him and hired him as their AI guru. This changes the AI for deathmatches, if I'm right, and improves it quite a lot.

Yes, there are alot of bots for legacy quake, Reaper, Omnicron, Frik, are deathmatchbots. CTFBOT (shown here) and Frogbot willplay regular Quake CTF. Im doing a new spin on CTFBOT called Tekbot_CTF+, got some stuff on my channel.

Are the bots able to use the grapple hook? I'd love to play this game again online again... those were the days. But it seems hard to find others

Run the quad biathch :0 we have quake ctf game everytimes we gather whit friends :0 wjhit cpu around this is the best teamplay game ever concive its a shame kids nowaday play craps like mw 2 etc if there was a big enuff community playing quake ctf id easily play 3 4 times a week :)

Got this up and running too, the bots are pretty challenging when set to difficulty "3".
