Thanks Attorney Reeves for this topic. BTW The specific individual I had in mind when I asked you to cover this. informed me it was medical debt. The member told me the creditor tried to bluff him into meeting with them at the local SSA office. The creditor tried to bluff the local SSA office into turning over the claimants backpay. SSA Refused to meet with the creditor The claimant informs me that he will seek legal help for violation of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.

@85bmw528eguy Actually it was a collection agency. He said they would call him numerous times during the day and night. They threatened him with jail and numerous other forms of harrasment. He is getting legal aid to help him and filing a complaint with his states attorney general.
