Please learn to read. It will open an entirely new world to you. Francis Kleynjans (b. 1950) composes some incredibly guitaristic music. It lays well on the keyboard, touches some unusual harmonies, and it's fun to sift through the notation and even occasionally find an alternative fingering - choreography for your fingers.

(Of course, I could be convinced to tab out something like that - for a price)

yes, i agree that tabs aren't as good as actual notes even though i only use tabs i can read very badly notes. and yes tabs are like fast food, but not everyone has the time or patience to read notes, and to some people with less time looking for something softer and less intelectual tabs are great! ^_^
