This is why I stopped learning Lifeson's guitar parts years ago -- unless Geddy and Neil are playing right along with you at blistering volume (or if you're content to just be jamming along to the record/CD) then it sounds just like this... kinda thin... (despite all of Lifeson's great musical ideas and voicings). Not exactly something you can play for your girlfriend (-;

RUSH is a COLLECTIVE sound. And only then does it become AWESOME!!

I think all of this album and most of Permanent Waves is Hiwatt. Which I never liked. Of course Alex makes it work.

WOW - the guitar solo is through a Leslie cabinet. You can't hear that nuance on the album mix. Spot the distinctive Hiwatt midrange!

Ive just stumbled on to these isolated RUSH tracks! I Cant Breath!!!!

Ive been trying to cover Alex for 30 years. How do they do this? Massive EQ??? Im sure there are instructions on the net somewhere. FYI This cant be The Trees from the Album release, aint the exact same in many places. That being said: Its good enough! Thank you.
