Is it the aquarelle on the moistured brush when you are shading lineart after using pen? Can you please tell how one can keep an artwork from smearing underlying inks?
Really amazing work (though i can't think of any picture of yours i didn't like). Especially looking how it is creating without any sketch. Kind of magic for me, hope i'll learn to do something like this one day =)
Mattias! congrats on your amazing work, style and creativity, i`ve been following your work for a year or perhaps more, and i wanted to ask you a couple of questions:
1. Is all the design allready in your head when you start drawing or you create as you go?.
2. Would you mind if i use one of your designs for a tattoo? (no idea wich one, but i`ve been fooling around with the idea for a while now, even before you did yours a while back).
I love your work and watching you draw. Do you typically have a plan before you start a piece? Since you don't seem to have a pencil drawing underneath, is there something that you're referring to off camera, or is it straight out of your head? Your work is amazing!!!
I really like your drawings, thanks for uploading this time lapse. I love how you use intricate machinelike structure and perspective with expressive cartoonlike beings.. I'm saving up my pennies for a Namiki fountain pen of my own. It's amazing that you're not inking over a pencil sketch.
hello! i've been following your drawings on Flickr for at least a few years now, and your drawings are my favourite! when you draw, do u have the images in ur head first, or do u just go with the flow? and lastly, what fountain pen are you using? thanks!
@shugatastic , When I do this kind of drawing I just go with the flow, but sometime I make a quick sketch first then the image is in my head. I use a Namiki falcon with a fine nib, thanks

DUDE you are the best, and thanks for doing the artwork, or lending it, to DGD albums.

How come the ink's not running on under watercolours? The brush should be wet enough to spill all the black ink around.

Mycket stiligt! Det hade varit fantastiskt trevligt att se dig arbeta med färg, t.ex "Chinese Traffic Jam", som är mycket fin.

Kanske nästa film, det är inte helt enkelt att rita med kameran (det påverkar resultatet
