@mclaren777 I always ask for studio tours, but often there can be private or confidential information on display so usually these take place after a game is released.

Wow that's a great setup. I guess the next, though much more advanced, step will be simulating g-force. Anyways, are you shifting early, or is that the way it ought to be done?

@jebwatson Shifting really depends on the car/track and situation, dependent on wheel spin or even the optimum window to shift, sometimes shifting at the optimum can leave more room for error and so at race pace I'll tend to settle for a more consistent driving style.

@ericknagy That's to be expected with alpha development builds. Part of the team is working on rewriting the entire input code from scratch and separating it completely from the render code of the engine in order to eliminate control latency.

2. if it is only on PC will there be a disk launch or is it going to be a download, as i hate downloads?

@nathan0401 there are discussions on the forum's about both of those things, the game is about 10% done and it'll be a while before they will know for sure what is going to be done, but it uses a upgraded version of the Shift 2 graphics engine and that has been on consoles so I cant see why it wouldn't be. Also when I play it on my PC with the XB360 pad it plays fine, would be better once they support my wheel better.

@HDTanel As it happens I have the same problem, vibration from my wheels goes right through the floorboards so I'm often limited on the hours of play. A D-Box would blow my house up!

Looks brilliant and looks 10x better than some already released games/ sims , i love the concept of having the consumers/ customers/ players involved in the making of this. Slightly off topic here but: What ever happened to Test Drive Unlimited 2?? And could you possibly somehow have a word with turn 10 and ask them to either buy the rights to TDU2 or just make a forza inspired cruising game? UGH THAT WOULD BE AMAZING ('amazing' was said in a high pitch voive BTW) GAME OF THE CENTURY GOES TO T10
