@ellie3637 It depends on the nature of ur headache. Some headaches are felt either on the right or left side of ur head. So if you feel a left side headache then do it on ur left hand, and the same thing happens on the right. If your headache is felt on both side then u got to do both hands (u'll feel that after squeezing one hand your head feels lighter on the same side)

@whitebloodbishop I have no idea if this applies here. I cant explained the reason behind this scientifically, but what I wrote is based on experience. I get headache a lot so I use this method almost everyday and found out. Also its better if u let someone else do this for you. Just tell them where to pinch and tell them to do as hard as they can. You tend to soften ur grip after 2 mins of doing this urself. Hope it helps.

Most accupressurists say (and I agree) to NOT pinch as hard as you can...but to gently, yet firmly compress that area ON THE RIGHT HAND.

Don't pinch with the points of your fingers. Instead, lay the left index and thumb on the right hand's web and compress the entire area...a bit more near the finger tips.
