Hey, I am a programmer, the keyboard is very good, it suits my needs, too expensive though, if you are a gadget person you will enjoy it. I have two of them, in my opinion it is much better then using the laptop keyboard. A laptop keyboard feels 'flimsy', diNovo Edge feels sturdy in the base and soft on the keys at the same time. This is COOL!

I have one and the battery time is actually a bit more than that! She says with two hours charge you get about two months, well if you just leave it on charge overnight, I get three months easy, and i'm on it every day gaming/internet etc!

Personally, I think with that kind of battery time, it would be a better idea to put LED backlighting onto this and have a wireless backlit keyboard. It wouldn't matter if you only got three weeks battery instead of three months!

Why do keyboard makers still make these dumb rectangle pieces of shit? SPLIT KEY ERGONOMIC is the best. I type 100+ wpm many hours per day with no pain whatsoever. I can't understand why EVERY keyboard isn't split key by now, with more controls right between the hands, like the backspace and tab keys. I like the touch volume and scroll control at least.

Do you have any REASON for hating split key keyboard? Or are you another unscientific dolt who doesn't value efficiency? Split key keyboard lets the hands rest in a more natural position, away from each other instead of cramped together. It's SCIENTIFICALLY optimal. The only people I know who don't like them are "hunt and peck" typers who type maybe 50 words a minute tops. Perhaps you don't like it b/c you play little computer games. But for efficiency, split key is absolutely the best solution.

I've been using the DiNovo Edge for a little over a year now. All keys still work fine, but the imprint on several keys is nearly gone. What's worse though is the malfunctioning charger. Two days ago it stopped working. I've cleaned the gold-plated contacts, but to no avail. I must say that I expected a bit more from a keyboard in this price range.

One more thing: I've often missed the numpad and never really used the trackpad. Sure looks cool, but in the end it's a pretty pointles gimmick.

I would totally use this keyboard for work. Companies have spent a lot of money on hardware and software for me in order to do my job better. It's definitely not for a secretary, but an IT professional would absolutely enjoy this keyboard. The chordless/rechargeable feature is fantastic, and would be great for presentations and workshops. I could actually carry this keyboard over to someone and say "here you try it".
