Yes I know. I played trumpet in my band. I always said to my partners don't hide it and hold back because it sounds bad. If you blow fast, out, and true you have a nice sound. Allot better than not. "I don't wanna play a bad note" you will if you hold back.

Just wow.. this is shocking quality for a high school band.. I played a lead role on the trumpet in my high school band and we were far better than this. Lack of tuning, terrible timing, very weak and poorly performed brass section. This song is meant to have an incredibly powerful and forward brass section.. I know they are just kids but even when I was in high school we would not perform this piece at a concert if it was in this bad a shape.. for their age, they can do so much better..
