@chiinatso After dying like thirteen tiems, I left Orzammar, collected as MANY poultices and potions as I could possibly carry, and made my companions Darmini, (My dog) Alistair, and Wynn, I upgraded Wynn so she had a variety of healing spells. I was a drawven warrior and I managed to last until the Darkspawn came out, and I died yet again but I was able to switch over to wynn and I kept shooting it and healing until it finally died >_<

Three of us were fighting her, but it looks like Leilana, my mabari warhound (I have a mod that lets the hound be a 5th member) and my summoned Bear were trapped behind tentacles that keep you from escaping. So I had to fight this boss with only 3 characters.

It sucked.

I order to kill the broodmother successfully, you must have three warriors in your party(Sten, Alistair and Oghren). I tried it out and it works extremely great, especially if you are a mage with the spirit healer speacialization skill.

@aartbastiaan22 sucks for me i didn't have shale or wynne. i had morrigan, my character, leliana, and allistair. needless to say leliana allistair and my character (being a warrior) all died. morrigan saved my ass twice. same thing happened with the brood mother everyone but her died so i tanked with her, and killed both the broodmother AND "andraste's reincarnation"

uh can you give me some tips on how to kill that mofo, she's hard as hell, I'm using sten, alistair, and the dwarf, their all at level 10, I tried the direct approach, then attacking from a range, but those freaking tentacles keep getting in the way, what level would you recommend fighting that thing at

@spikeharusame I did Orzammar 2nd to last so I was about 14-15 and trashed her. I beat on a tentacle until it retracted and then ran in (as a rogue) and just smacked the crap out of her, letting my other 3 members just deal with adds and tentacles. Wasn't really much of a fight at all. Party was Warden (Assassin), Oghren (Melee), Wynne (Healer), and Morrigan (Caster/Offhealer). With 2 healers you pretty much never die, though I tend to use Alistair over Oghren to hold aggro so I can backstab.
