  • Nice job! Cute dog too. Next time take a giant ball with you and kick it around in that thing. Looks like fun and the dog would go nuts! :P

  • Thats not a utah national park.

  • @Kmognett Where is it then?

  • 5******

  • This is in Arizona though.

  • Utah is amazing! Funny religion is being brought up here in criticism, when in fact this part of the world will have you thinking about life and all the questions we find ourselves asking...it evokes that in you. I know I was enlightened by my visit to Moab. Its good for the soul to take this kind of nature trip...I was blown away. I definitely plan to visit again.

  • Who sings this ?

    &

    What a song ?

  • @Trojan703 Desert Rose by Sting

  • @Trojan703 Its Desert Rose by Sting :) Good choice for this video.

  • UTAH is absolutely SENSATIONAL and the guy who is lucky enough to call it home is indeed very very lucky. Can't wait to go back (Love Zion Canyon) - Doug in Dublin Ireland

  • I think western USA is thee most prettiest ever with rock formations of years of weathering & mountains so majestic they became part of our national anthem these song.. I love ROCKS

  • It is best to just view this kind of view than to go there and ruin what nature shaped for millions of years. No permits should be granted to visit this place unless you have a low flying device that might be invented in the future. Human beings can destroy any rare structure created by nature and by themselved. Case in point, the Pyramids, the city is almost at its edge, the pollution might be affecting its rocks, people should just view it and not even climb it. The city should move away fr

  • There is a law that says dogs can be shot on sight by anyone for harassing (chasing) wildlife. And what's up with taking it to the wave? Dogs are NOT allowed in there. It's people like you who are ruining it for the responsible users. BTW and FYI The Wave (Coyote Canyon) is in Arizona.

  • The wave is a magnificent example of wind-shaped sedimentary rocks

  • I love Utah and am proud to be from there. No I am not Mormon I am Wicca. I grew up in a small town called Price in southern Utah. It's wonderful all the scenery you can handle in and out of the national parks.

  • P.S. Ignorance is everywhere. You handled the ignorant comments with class. Bravo to you!!!

  • Thank you for this beautiful video of your home state. I am from Chicago and I love my big city but I must say nature is tugging at my heart . Don't get me wrong, we have some amazing State Parks in Illinois and lets not forget Lake Michigan. There is just so much this country has to offer and I want to see it all! I hope to be able to visit your state someday and experience these amazing sites as well as meet the beautiful people of your state.

  • Where exactly is the location? It looks like the Wave. Am I right?

  • i wonder if i could do parkour here? O . o

  • Truly amazing scene's, a great philosopher once wrote "You can't beat nature for beauty, He was right.

The rest of the world don't perceive Utah as Mormon country, I did here it reffered to it as the "Bible Belt" but isn't that true of nearly every place on earth, it must be wonderful to live there. Thank you for your post.

  • Beautiful views. Nice video, good job on putting it all together.

  • going to utah in june. so psyched!

  • I have to give a dislike because you can't bring your dog to the Wave.

Be responsible to protect this amazing place especially after you took all the troubles to draw for the permit (I hope you did get a lottery permit instead of just going there for fun).

  • I am planning a trip to utah this summer. Where were you hiking in the beginning around :36 - 1:20. It looks like the vamillion cliffs area in Arizona. Very nice video. Utah and Arizona are truly the most beautiful places on earth. Lake Powell has to be the prettiest lake in the world. I am so blessed that I have been able to see some of these amazing places.

  • People who talk crap on Utah and the people who live here are completely clueless about how things really are. It's pretty funny to read how ignorant some people are. Utah is badass.

  • Wow Amazing

I want to visit the Utah National Park in the future and make a video.

Try to check out my channel :-)

  • omfg a dog off it's fkn leeeeeeeeash!!! we're all gonna fkn dyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyuh!

Southern Utah is probly the easiest place for me in the world to just reconnect myself with it all. Zion is my fave but there is still so much more. nice show

  • No dogs allowed at the wave, read your permit.

  • @rockishea My Bad just found out they canged the rules from when we went 3 years ago. <:-(

  • @rockishea My Bad. Just found out they changed the rules from when we went 3 years ago. <:-(

  • Look at the sandstones! WOW!

  • Awesome Place, Nice video...Wazz the breed of the dog in the video?

    looks active...Planning to get 1..

  • Utah is amazing. There's truly unique places. Utah has the highest concentration of both natural arches and slot canyons in the world. There is nothing in the world like the views of Bryce Canyon. Don't be hating. I am not from Utah, but I like it. Utah has five national parks. Utah truly has some of the great and unique natural wonders of the United States. The people I know from there are nice too.

  • Your dog is very lucky!!!

  • What hike is this?

  • If you don't like Utah stay home!

  • I live in utah and its cool and its fun to hike in zion's natinal park and moab. and if you ever come to moab you need to go eat at the moab dyner.

  • Until my husband died we went out to UT every fall for 20 years. We camped all over Canyonlands & I never got tired of . 1 spot is more beautiful than the next. Every year we would say we would go somewhere besides Canyonlands....and every year we were out there for a couple of weeks ! The more remote the better! Thank you for a beautiful video....wish I was there right now.

  • amazing

  • Fantastic Utah.... I love it

  • Loved this video...exploring hiking in Utah after hiking the Grand Canyon last month.

  • My favorite place to visit, Utah is awe inspiring.

  • Where was the first half of this video shot. I was just down in Zion and would have loved to have hiked around those flowing paths. We spend a day in the narrows and checked out some messas but didn't see anything like this.

  • Yes, sir. Utah has one of the biggest, most visually impressive backyards around, so to speak. I really should take trips down there from SLC more often.

  • Beautiful Video, thanks for sharing!

  • I love this land! The fatastic creation! I see GOD...My religion is the "NATURE"! Moutains and sea and the rest surroundings! How could you say there is "NO GOD"....when you see this spectacular scenery and the peace that comes within you! I believe super-power that who is big than ME!!!

  • uno dei video piu' belli che abbia mai visto!

  • awesome video. visited there many times, and cant go back this year so i appreciate sharing your visit with you.

  • great video Thanks!

  • Ill dream of rain, and a kingdom right before your eyes, only we dont see it. Or, maybe sometimes we can.

  • thank you for the excellent video !

  • wow

  • i live in salt lake city, utah. and the mormons are just like chickadees. annoying but not very meaningful hahaha

  • Nice feeling to be there and step in to dog shit...:(

  • WATCH MY AMAZING OUTDOORS VIDEO!!!!

  • Wow. Geomorphology rocks ;)

  • WOW, - what an amazing landscape !

I would love to walk there and touch these beautiful stone formations with my own hands.

    Natural beauty !

Thank you Ken, for sharing this vid with me !

  • YOU WONT BELIEVE IT!!!

The shot of the dog running away between 0:37 secs and 0:41 seconds is the exact location of the desktop background image in windows 7 called img7!!!! two days ago i was daydreaming about being exactly there and randomly found this vid of wild scenery and voila!! there it was!!!

    synchronicity=co-incidence!!!!

  • Looks like a great place to visit but have you seen the hoops you have to jump through to get in? Bureau of Land Management? now there's a contradiction in terms

  • wow

  • shit quality

  • Excellent job...

  • How beautiful!!!!!!!! thanx for sharing :)

  • 0:40 - 2:30

    2:57 - 3:05

    Where is it excactly?

  • first one looks like the wave, which is actually in Arizona, not Utah.

  • It's beautiful. To bad we're the second or third generation to slowly be eroding that thing to death with all of our walking around.

  • Leave your pets home dam it!

  • Go jump in front of a bus ! Tree hug'er

  • I have been to zion park it is amazing.

  • in sting you cant understand any of the words exept for the last three in every sentence

  • I'm moving back to Utah next year. There are so many wonderful places like this that I haven't visited yet. I can't wait!

  • ultimate rock

  • people like you are going to ruin the few sacred places we have on this earth. dogs are forbidden from the wave. how selfish. no wonder the blm doesnt want everyone to find the trail.

  • I'm going to go cut down a big live tree just for you! Have a nice day

  • Where exactly is located the first part, before the eagle eating that animal on the side of the road?

  • Hey Guy's, the first half of this Video is in the one and only, most beautiful, ARIZONA. Check out Arizona, It's the best.

  • I think some of the Utah folks might take offense to that statement....... =)

You could spend the rest of your life discovering Arizona and Utah and not see all there is to see. Wonderful video, thanks for sharing!

  • looks unrealistic. it's just extraordinary place. how far are camp places for Zion Canyon? anyone knows?

  • i agree with shaunj587..guys..not all people on Utah are mormon because i live in Utah as well and im not mormon =o. so please quit judging us. oh and seriously come out here and check it out also Arizona Wyoming and all those other states around us. its pretty cool

  • i want to go thare!

  • Truly out of this world.

  • This is absolutely stunning!

  • There will never be a shortage of simpletons that think Utah is Omish country with multiple wives. Some people need to get out of the house... Or at least pull their heads out of thier butts.

  • @OgdenNoir First of all Utah has a lot of Mormons. Second, it is spelled Amish, with an A, and they're from Pennsylvania. Talk about simpleton.

  • These comments are sad I live in utah and no Im not mormon. This video is about the beauty that surrounds what I call home yet those around the world who sees it turns it into a ugly display of religious Judging I believe Utah is one of the most beautiful places to visit. I am proud to call it home no matter what religion is practiced in this state. And that I hope what has been said in any of those comments would not discourage anyone from coming to see the beauty of Utah.

  • It's the most beautiful state in the USA and I don't live there. I didn't ask anyone's religion the many times I've been there, but everyone has always been polite and welcoming. The beauty of the landscape there is almost incomprehensible and anyone that doesn't see it is missing out on one of life's most awe inspiring places.

  • @shaunj587 ... Amen to that! I drew a permit to The Wave in May. Been trying for 4 years. Thx for the video, great inspiration. I go get lost alone in Utah every spring. I live at 8000 ft. in CO, so southern Utah is sooo different for me. The whole frickin state should be a ntl park! (Well maybe not that SLC part). Happy Hiking. Bob

  • @shaunj587 So very true. Your parks are some of the best in the world !!!

  • I do not think fucking dogs should be allowed there

  • shut up prude

  • gorgeous

  • I lived in Salt Lake City, Utah from 1993 to 1998. I made the trip down to southern Utah many times to see their five National Parks. Truly spectacular landscapes. Utah is by far the most beautiful place I have ever lived. Great powder snow winters and hot dry summers. The people there are friendly and the quality of life is wonderful. Many happy memories. I plan on showing my girlfriend Utah soon. I know she will love it. Thanks for posting of this wonderful video.

  • i love utah soo much, i am so proud to say that i live here...we have everything! the greatest snow on earth amazing scenery down south, and incredible lakes to boat on! GO UTAH!!

  • Way to go!!! I just went to Utah like a 2 months ago and I visited Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Arches National Park and Canyon Lands National Park I loved Utah. Someday I plan to go live there instead of piece of shit of Los Angeles

  • man! thank you! i love people like you that don't think Utah is just a boring desert with no culture whatsoever...it is an amazing place, and I'm glad to hear that you want to live here...it is amazing, you will love living here...soo much to do. its just a shame that the rest of the world cant accept true beauty in nature for what it really is.

  • um...have you ever met any Mormons they are very nice and loving people that take care of the nature that surrounds them....and what do you mean by third world country that doesn't even make sense...and not everyone from Utah is Mormon that is a stereo type...the people are what make utah great its called culture which you might need a little dose of buddy

  • first of all who ever said that it was a competition, it isn't, and as for the child molestation thing i believe you! but just because some of them do it does not mean that all of them do it....i am talking about Mormons that help people, did you know that when hurricane Katrina hit the news said that there were only two faiths that helped aid....the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints and the Mormons...oh wait, they are exactly the same! Mormons get so much crap they don't deserve

  • your a hypocrite! you just did the same thing but made the catholic church sound better....i have nothing against Catholics, they are fantastic people i have many catholic friends that i love....and Jewish and Mormon friends as well, but i don't judge them for their faiths i judge their character...which is what you need to do with the Mormons, don't judge them and hate them just because the world tells you too...wwjd

  • ya i live in utah, and i've never gone to "The Wave" before i've been to a lot of the other places in Southern Utah but i need to go there! Best place to boat in utah/arizona , Lake Powell!

  • random person, dog and sting. oh yeah baby!

  • omg i want those permits SO BAD!

  • well I have to say that was spectacular! we went thru utah on our road trip but didnt have time to stop and boy do i regret it! well done with the vid...very nicely put together with a great choice of music!

  • great music, great video, fantastic place

  • This is amazing and I am not even a hiker! I live in Utah and was not aware of this awesome place... I am going to go for sure.

  • i'm sorry, but how can you live in utah and never go to southern utah? It's a crime!!! It's so cool down there!

  • I have been to Southern Utah many times but never heard of the Wave... An everyone I talk to has not... and it is a crime!!

  • my compliments to mother nature for this amazing landscape:)

  • WOW! That first part made me dizzy! Haha, I'll have to go there very soon. Thanks for the interesting video.

  • holy cow the first part...thats surreal

  • bien le bonjour,c'est jolie chez vous!!

  • This is such a great video. love it. I'm going in about 3 weeks, thanks for sharing, no I'm sure i want to go

    Jolanda

  • The first half of this video is at a place called 'The Wave' -- you must get a permit to hike there. It's fairly remote and is located near the Utah/Arizona border pretty much in the central part of the state, just google 'The Wave' for more information.

  • Hi,Wow Fantastic I love your video. I want to go and have a look and follow your footsteps. Please tell me where is the exact location. How is the weather there in September?

  • Describing the scenery in Utah as spectacular is like saying the sky is blue. I'm amazed by the natural beauty of the Navajo region in southern Utah and northern Arizona. It is a very underrated area. How could anyone not like it out there?

  • My god this is such a fantastic video. I have to go there. I can't actually believe that some people can watch such a video and only comment that the dog should be on a leash. You people must be a ton of fun on a hike, I'm so glad none of my hiking partners are that uptight.

  • Please, could you tell me where the first place on the video is located? I'm going to plane a trip in this area and I'd like to visit this beautiful place.

    Thanks

  • If you haven't already found out, it's off Hwy 89 in Southern Utah between Kanab, UT and Page, AZ. I was in the area last weekend, but could not actually go into The Wave because you must get a permit either months in advance or take your chances with the daily lottery system they have.

  • Please, could you tell me where the first place on the video is located? I'm going to plane a trip in this area and I'd like to visit this beautiful place.

    Thanks

  • Maybe people should know what they are talking about before they speak. For those who don't know, North Coyote Buttes is not part of the National Park system but is under the jurisdiction of the BLM and yes, dogs are allowed. I don't have a dog myself but it appears that this one had a blast running around in the Wave and being with his people. Well done video. I was just there on February 16th and I would love to go back! Thanks for sharing!

  • One of my favorite places on the planet. And all the comments about the dog? If there were few if any people and the dog is low risk, enjoy life!

  • i member goin there its soooo fun there!!!

  • It is a national monument not a national park. Oh they picked up rocks the world is coming to and end. leash laws dont really mean any thing where they are. I let my dog run free at the same spot

  • Thanks 4 sharing & to those concerned about dog leashes & rock theft - congrats your life is so abundant you have acheived blissful ignorance of real concern in this world

  • Agree, steeling rocks and have dogs off the leash is illegal in NP's. world is full of ignorants

  • wow, beautiful! is it sand or stone? pretty hard to see..

  • nice place... although, there much more beautiful places around the world...

  • agree with dashep19, not everyone wants your dog running around loose and of course the attendent mess............

  • Beautiful footage, my next destination.

  • Ya you should have gotten a fine for letting your dog harass the wildlife. That is illegal in Parks you know, and so is stealing rocks. While you're at it you should film yourselves breaking other laws, i'm sure the judge would love to see it.

  • What a spoiler you are!

  • Referring to a previous comment ok?

  • agree

  • Nice video. Loved the music. Coyote Buttes (the Wave) in the first half of the video is mostly in Arizona but accessed through Utah.

  • those rocks are pretty cool!!

  • nice place... although, there much more beautiful places around the world...

  • I didn't think you could have off leash dogs in national parks?
