@noobchen09 magican?(ele?)Not sure,but the ritualist can provide a very good support to your party and it can do some decent damage just like the elementalist would.Not to mention they can heal pretty well too.Personally i ll stay with the ritualist(ftw),but it is your choice.There is no better class when you know how to play(cept maybe paragons in PvP,who are extremely hard to use properly in those situations)

This build only works on people that stand still in RA,... Which aren't a lot :/ And then ofc, you still have your Rangers with a lot of armor against Lightning damage Mesmers that'll just Backfire you,... But okay build, overall.

that's what this build did was massive dmg, but only for PvP, I would never use this for PvE haha plus doesn't work anymore to my knowledge anyways. and yes channeling would be it.

@Spongink if u play it right channeling can have massive damage. me and me friend did a 4v4 with identical hench's with me as rit and him as fire ele and i kicked his ass so yea, rit's can do damage :P

i got a ritu too but when i came farther in the game (realm of torment i did find out that no one uses them over there my question WHY if you learn how to use them they are 1 of the strongest jobs so TRY THEM OUT and dont deleat untill the tendakai temple thats when they become strong

He casts ancestors rage and then shadow step to fow.

yeah ancestor's rage use to take one second to set off, so I cast it and once I teleport it's setting off when I'm next to them along with spirit rift. teleport the spirit for another double whammy and then hit them with the sword.

Despite nerf of Ancestor's Rage i still belive that this build works. Ive just tested it on Balthazar's Island, dmg is still considerable. The only thing is that you need to cast AR just AFTER the prison. Difference is 93 at 15 channeling now (3x 31), if im correct before nerf it was 110 after one sec, am i right?

yeah I think so, the reason why I'm not using it anymore is because although it may do considerable dmg if it doesn't kill them, it's not worth it since the recharge time is so long.

OR you can take Destructive was Glaive and drop it twice for over 200 damage in seconds. Also means you can actualy be a rit and support your team with damage buffs and support heals unlike this pile of crap.

If you want a one man spike, your better off taking a sin. At least then you can spike more often and with more damage.

there are no EotN skills, I never got it. But this build to my knowledge doesn't work anymore because of the changes they made to PvP skills. There are still tons of cool spike builds though specially for sins and eles.

Grasping/Swap does a better spike than this, but it's a bit more complicated as you have to micromanage your targeting to pull it off.

yeah I tried that combo and I didn't like how you have to run up to em, it's kinda obvious to the enemy. it's like us driving a nuke into a country with speakers and flags saying we're gonna set it off in a couple of hours haha plus I have a soft spot for shadow pris ;-)

Also the problem with it is you gotta actually target the spirit before swap to work manually. Makes the spike tedious if you need to do something else at the same time. Don't think there's ashortcut key for targetting nearest spirit LOL!! wish there were.

The first time I took the derv I was on my own the monk hadn't healed me once with both the derv and ranger on me, the second and third time yes the monk did help a lot, but then again never said I did do it alone...
