@reflectwhatyouare689 IMO the song is about somebody who is either very ill or in a great deal of pain, and has been for a while. It definitely does not suggest killing yourself. REM wrote "Let Me In" as a tribute song & heartfelt plea after Kurt died. Michael Stipe & Kurt Cobain were good friends. You must know that a song does not make somebody kill him/herself - it takes a hell of a lot more than that.
