I would like to know if anyone out there remembers or knows about Mildred "Millie" Rodgers, she was a country western performer in the 1920's and 1930's. I cannot find any music or who she sang with. I do know she acted in some westerns in the 1930's. "The Texas Rambler" was one of them. If you know where I could listen to her singing, please let me know. She was my grandmother on my fathers side of the family and I never met her. Thanks.
Channel Policy: We have a Zero tolerance for comments that include profanity, derogatory remarks made toward another viewer, an artist, any song or video. We have a channel hound trained to sniff out offensive language including profanity, racial slurs and other comments deemed offensive in nature. Anyone who chooses to ignore our channel policy will be nuked (blocked) from our channel. Just don’t do it!
Some of these women were talented and able singers....sometimes it is just a matter of timing, sometimes promotion or management. It is a tough business, many women singers (at least several of the ones I have known) do it because they love it. If your doing it just for the money, your probably in the wrong line of work.
