I mean come on, I looked at some videos here on Youtube, and many people claim that various UC mobile suits are rip offs of SEED ones (for example Hi Nu Gundam with Strike Freedom). The original UC Gundam's will always surpass the later generation Gundams, it has the richest of story lines and deeply woven mythos that has to be recognized!

It's sad but it's true. Some just find it hard to appreciate the classics. I can appreciate both the old and the new ones (except Seed Destiny, it was insulting to my intelligence).

@DevilSlayer911 cause the reason over the graphics would be that in the 90s tomito was in a tight budget with a rushing time for the one year war series and it was not even complete like giran the lead of zeon should have his custom unit but cause for a speed rush they didn't give me a personal unit and then again they let him die by his sister hand it would have being interesting if tomito can redo and truthly complete the real one year war story and i am willing to pay for any price to watch

I can't agree more. Everone is just fighting for their respective lives and their ideal world. What the Zeons really want is just to be a independent state. Watch MS Igloo and you can see that the Feddies shooting at the defenceless zeons when they have already surrendered. You see that that no one is right or wrong in the war.

I like Zeon as much as the next guy, but really. Tomino was painting each side in a negative light. The Federation was stagnating and hollow, and Zeon was full-blown space Nazis fighting for an ideal that's been corrupted to all hell.

I have to say, I find this rather catchy, but the series itself was a tad disappointing.

I enjoyed it, and how could you not? But after watching more recent series first, I was shocked by the character designs. ^^

Also, maybe because my subtitles are screwed and half the time don't show, that might contribute to my bad opinion of it.

Still a great show, though! XD Just found 00 and Wing more interesting.

Also, on a completely different note: The opening is more catchy than any of the openings for GS, GSD and 00 and the lyrics are easier to learn.

I saw this clip where Shiro Amada and some other characters watching the sunset with Amuro Ray and Sayla Mass at 0:49, then There were 2 GMs, 2 Gundams and the RX 78 Gundam posing in the middle with the White Base at the Background at 0:57, that is something I havent seen yet. My question is simply, Where did those video clips Came from?

the clip at 0:57 is from the same video that 0:49- a music video of the original theme that was included with Gundam Journey too Jaburo. However, my video changes the scene at 0:41 (the original I think had Char's Z'Gok slice through a GM) too the Gundam stepping on a Dom

After 0:56, all of those clips come from Encounters in Space

@GamesDude5 As I am called by my girlfriend, I am a "Gundam Nut" (And was called so a year before Setsuna was called that lol). As for what Char did, In the episode itself (Episode 29) he specifically pierced the GM with his claw and because of the force of Char's attack, it sent the GM reeling backwards thus exploding. However, one can argue that he might have opened his claw before the GM was sent back because his claw was slightly more opened when he left the GM than it was when he attacked

@SpecialAgentRavage True enough, but the actual scene doesn't make it clear enough for an answer. This is one of the many reasons why Bandai should remake Original Gundam- like how Gainax is doing the rebuild series for Evangelion- re make in brand new animation of original Gundam.

But I have watched Gundam 0083 recently, awesome series! I even updated Wikipedia too include the speech Bask Om makes at the end of the series! Anyway, with watching the series- I can find the right clips for it!

Blue Destiny is from a manga and video game. Technically Blue Destiny is three different units, one GM looking as shown in the AMV here and two that are Gundam's in design, one being stolen by the zeon's. The Federation pilot of the Blue Destiny unit is Lt. Yuu Kajima and the Zeon ace who steals Unit 2 is Maj. Nimbus Schterzen also known as the "Paladin of Zeon"
