I lived there for 3 months. It was the most magical experience of my life.
I lived in the room you can see in the green coloured Hotel at the beginning of this video. It was an amazing time and I had so many wonderful experiences I'll never forget such happy days. Buddha Bless you all.
I was there!Cant remember if it was 7 days or more, but it is so magical.I went hiking up in the mountains, eat lots of Momos, listen to traditional Tibetan music and drank homemade Tibetan beer! I was In "The Loosling Inn".I hope i can go back soon heheh
Well done noddingcat for capturing the spirit of mcleod with cool soundtracks... yeah the do wear watches and trainers but they do live in a modern world so you wouldn't really expect anything else...
You seem to make the grade where ever you're from, providing you are into the Buddhist trip. They wear watches and sporty trainers too, (including the Tibetan Monks and Nuns) it always makes me look twice.
Yes. monasteries welcome everybody. But I should also tell you that, Buddhism involves much more than going to temples and reciting some prayers. The essence of Buddhism lies within learning the Buddhist philosophy for years and cultivating the Buddha mind, and during and after this process, implement that in your daily life.
Dalai Lama is unquestionably one of the best example of a perfect human being with wisdom and compassion to all human beings. DL always preaches religious harmony and guide people in the true direction to become a better person regardless of your faith and believe. Those who understand his words become less complaining and happier person.
This video reflects true example of religious harmony where Buddhist, Hindus, Christians, Sikhs and Muslims are binded together in love, peace and harmony.
thepurpleaster and truth 1888, I agree with you. I pray that the Dalai Lama will accept Dorje Shugden practitioners and permit religious freedom so that the harmonious images portrayed in the video above becomes a stable reality in Dharamsala and other holy places of Dharma practice.
Get a real job instead of spamming hate and lies, all you his phininess dalai lama's spamming elfs. stop taking leftovers and brainwashing from your slave master dalai lama and get a real job and education

The guy deressed as buddhist monk at 4:40 appears european. Do buddhist monastries welcome foreigners to become monks?
Interesting vid and nice music in the background btw

May religious discrimination be abolished.
May the practitioners of all religions live in harmony and peace.
May Dalai Lama encourage the Tibetans to stop harming one another.
May he allow all religions to be practised.

Did you know it was Dorje Shugden who helped the Dalai Lama and his party escape in to India during the invasion?
dorjeshugden(dot)com has more and much more
thepurpleaster 2 years ago
The Dalai Lama says we cannot practice Dorje Shugden and we cannot come to his public teachings because we are Shugden practitioners.
Isn't that is religious discrimination to his own people?
Is that how a democratic leader rules?
Is the mixing of religion and politics healthy?
Interesting reads at dorjeshugden(dot)com
thepurpleaster 2 years ago
@thepurpleaster please leave the tibetan people to their own struggle, they really don't need westerners interfering with these internal affairs
americangandhi 1 year ago
May Dalai Lama give open, democratic, relgious rights to anyone who wishes to practice any form of religion.
Many ppl are hurt, disappointed and ostracized because of this ban.
All religions should be allowed by Dalai lama to his people.
