I love watching her skate here. I think she really made a very successful attempt to redeem herself after her earlier failures. Before Shizuka came along, I had no idea on what path figure skating would be on after the Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan fiasco. I am so happy watching this elegant Japanese figure skater. The people of Japan should be happy and lucky enough to support her and then to see her win the Olympic game for the very first time.

He says it all @ 4:38..."Out of this world."
Tarasova did a tremendous job in such a short period of time.
Shizuka was only a "B-list" skater until earlier that season, and Tarasova really worked miracles.

この演技を鮮明な画像で掲載していただき、ありがとうございます。
演技前半の緊張した面持ち、中盤で気持ちが乗ってきた表情、後半では全てを出し切れている充実した笑顔、そして演技終了後の感極まった荒川静香さんの表情を見ることが出来ました。ありがとうございます。
2004年の、この演技は何度見ても、すばらしい。最高です。
